He did a great job and we had to break floor tile unfortunately to get the job done. He even recommended a tile provider as well. He is always very nice and I will continue to use him in the future.

Very well. I was able to get an appointment a day after I called. The dispatcher kept me well informed about when to expect the team. The plumber and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and informative. They quickly assessed the situation and gave me a firm price for the work, to which I agreed. They performed the work quickly and efficiently, and gave me clear instructions for the one remaining item I needed to get and install (because I'd wanted the work done immediately and at a reduced price, there was one electrical component they didn't have so I decided to get and do the minor installation of that piece myself). Excellent service. Everyone in their office was very professional and helpful. They called when the plumber was on his way so we didn't have to wait around all day not knowing when they'd get there. The plumber was very friendly and personable, and he patiently answered all of my questions. And, most importantly, the work was done quickly with no issues. With an old house like ours, little problems like this come up all the time. We're very happy and relieved to have finally found a plumber we can trust.

Setting up an appointment is really simple. The customer service rep is very friendly, they called the day before to confirm, and then the morning of the appt when the technician was about 30 minutes away. The technician was a very nice and professional guy. He showed up, did an initial assessment of the possible issues, then after discussing the initial price (+ any supplemental prices after he started the work) he called his office to indicate he was going to start the job. So far, it seems like he repaired the primary issue and had some other suggestions to avoid the issue in the future. He cleaned up all the debris after finishing the work. Sessa generally has a set price for each different kind of repair, but it's a little frustrating that 1 - they won't tell you the prices over the phone and require someone to come out to inspect, and 2 - the inspection fee is not taken off the price of the work. So, I thought that might be a better option not knowing how long it might take to repair. However, if you have a general sense of how long it is going to take it might be worth checking with others who charge hourly rates. I felt like the final price was higher than it might have been if I chose someone who charges hourly rates. Overall, I am happy with the work and would recommend Sessa. They have a good reputation, the tech was professional and seemed to know what he was talking about, but the pricing is probably higher than other plumbers. You could probably shop around for cheaper options, but having confidence that the issue is addressed and you are working with a reputable firm might be worth the higher price.

We could not have been more pleased with this project and this crew! We perform most of our own work of this type, but the timing and scope of this particular job was beyond our capacity. The professionalism and helpfulness of the team is commendable--they are truly customer-focused from Ellen and her kind and capable communication and scheduling to the plumbers to the owner Richie. Everyone loves their job and are committed to helping what is a difficult situation go smoothly. The price reflected here is for the plumbing aspect of the job only. You might find a plumber in the City to do this work for a little less money, but you will not find a company of greater value. The comfort that comes from knowing the job is done expertly is more than worth the cost. Finally, if you are at all familiar with this type of project, you know it is nothing short of a miracle that it was pulled off in such a short timeline. We are landlords and this emergency displaced a young family for a week. Our own urgency to get our tenants back into their apartment was shared with the Sessa team, and they delivered.

Heat went out. Richie came when he said he would and trouble shot the problem. Stuck relay on boiler. Fixed the relay. Only charged for service call. May need to replace relay but it works for now. Great service as always!

If only every service company/contractor were Sessa Plumbing! We have been using them for eight years now and wouldn't consider changing. Their prices are a bit higher than average but we feel it is more than worth it for the courteous, professional, reliable service they always provide. They have done both small jobs (leaky faucets) and major ones (replace a major drain pipe in the basement, which required taking up a concrete floor), and we have always been satisfied with their work.

They were quick to respond, clear on the prices, and did high quality work without a lot of upsells. Would definitely recommend them.

basically i thought the service and the guy who did it was great. he was punctual, he was straight forward, he was personable and he explained everything in detail so that i knew what to expect. my problem is that basically all he had to do was replace 2 parts in the faucet that ( in itself) only cost about 20-30 dollars each and it only took like a half hour TOTAL to do the consultation and replace the parts. I just think that they just overcharge on the labor for the service, along with the fact that we had to pay $50 for just a consultation. I completely understand the consultation charge because they took the time to be responsive, and punctual and to come to the house. But why we have to pay almost 200 bucks for labor for a simple part replacement makes it hard for us to want to use their services again . if it was a more complicated replacement, i completely understand but it was literally unscrewing two parts and replacing a stem in the faucet.

They are a little on the pricey side, but their work is always really good. They are really friendly, knew what they were doing and had a money-back guarantee, I think. I did not use it because I did not need to. It is a two person outfit so they take time and really work. They are friendly and make conversation. They had actual tools and did their jobs. When he needed something he actually went out and bought it and came back so it was just really professional. They give you a guaranteed price and that is the price that it will be.

After checking many reviews and calling a few companies. I spoke with Sessa and they were very professional, organized, responsive and they also offered the best deal for an initiation visit. Customer service was great and Frank the technician was also great to deal with. Everything went smooth and Frank got the unit firing up and working in minutes. He was also very informative with recommended services and made me aware of what the unit will need done in the near future. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and will be scheduling my maintenance service with them going forward.

The receptionist at the company was very friendly and helpful. The plumber who came was courteous and efficient. One thing you should know is that this company charges by the job and not by the number of hours used to correct the problem. I was very satisfied with the service and the plumber's work.

The two plumbers arrived at the time they said they would, and did a very professional job, keeping us informed throughout the process as to the status of what they were doing. At the completion of the work, they sat down with the building treasurer and explained in clear layman's terms what they had done.

He called ahead, showed up when he said he would, and brought help to move the washing machine and handle some of the other necessary details of the work. The apx cost of the replacement parts from Amazon is around $200-250, and the cost of the entire job was $800, for 2 hours worth of work. All in all, it's worth spending the money to get a quality job taken care of.

We called Sessa because we had a small drip in our bathroom which we thought was coming from the washing machine in the floor above us. I told them there was no emergency and before they could come out, my husband thought he fixed it so I cancelled the call. Days later - the leak was much worse and it turned out to be major - behind wall and ceiling - from a broken lead pipe coming into the toilet in the 2nd floor bathroom - a real emergency by that time. Sessa's crew was busy so they called another plumbing company to come out and replace the pipe and bend that day and the next. The company they called was good overall - our only complaint was that the plumber's helper was not particularly careful and tracked some of the mess was through the house on his way to get tools etc in truck. Otherwise, we were pleased with the job and pleasantly surprised that Sessa was kind enough to contact another company on our behalf. Next time we need a plumber, I'll call Sessa.

The technician knew right away how to troubleshoot and fixed it in a matter of seconds. The response time was excellent.

The job went incredibly well. Just the folks who answer the phone and took the details of the job request were professional. I was called by their dispatch moments before the crew arrived. Measuring and taking the details and providing a quote took 1 hours. It took a week or two to get on their schedule. They came in and did the job in one long 12 hour day. Incredible. Professionalism is in the details. Details like containing all mess associated to fabrications and pipe cutting. Very respectful of the home's interior. Carefully explaining every cut in the walls, ceiling or floors to run the pipes. Very personal able, and matching uniforms. While they were there, they provided quotes and estimates for other jobs, based on observations. No pressure. There was one little problem, that I only noticed 20 minutes after they left. I called the main number, and the team returned right away to correct the issue. (The problem was a previous radiator, not their work.) This job had been botched by 3 previous 'handymen' in the last 6 years. I finally called Sessa, and got the job done right. It was expensive, but I can tell that I won't need to get this fixed for a long time.

I was left in the lurch by another company who would not respond. It was a holiday and it was difficult finding anyone to respond. Richie gave me his fee for responding over the phone and then came by pronto. I was so happy to have heat back in the house, especially when company was coming over. He was so pleasant, there was no "ick" factor, if you get what I mean. He was very upfront about everything.
