The guy literally showed up and told me my freezer door was ajar and charged me $200. He promised this was the cause and said if it returned, he'd be back. Well, it returned immediately and he never returned my calls.

Description of Work: I had such a hard time with this company, I don't know what I did wrong but I will lay it out exactly. My gas stove had an issue, I called in the main line and left a message. The next day, I got a call back from a different phone number from one of the repairmen. We set a repair date. Keep in mind - I don't have a lot of paid time off and every day I stay at home to wait, it is a risk to my job. | |Repair day #1: The guy is one hour late. I call him. Turns out he had a car issue or emergency of some sort. I am understanding, and we reschedule for 2 days later | |Repair day #2: The guy is one hour late. I call him. Turns out he is running insanely late. We reschedule for 4 hours later. I go to work. 4 hours later, I return from work, he is STILL late! He apparently went to grab a coffee. Shows up 20 minutes later. Does a diagnostic and does a decent job of explaining what I needed (a new part). He verbally says he'd give me a discount for being late. Writes down the full diagnostic charge on a piece of paper. He says he'll call when he has the part. | |1 month later.... I still haven't heard from him. I call him. He immediately says the part is coming in tomorrow. Okay, I give him the benefit of the doubt. We schedule for a repair | |Repair day #3: He is again, one hour late. I call him, and he said he forgot about my appointment!!!!! I am fuming mad at this point, and told him that I do not want to be charged for anything. I also write a customer complaint email to the business. It goes unanswered. We reschedule for the next day. | |Repair day #4: He shows up somewhat on time (20 minutes late), my stove miraculously decides to work again overnight, thus I can't speak to the quality of their work. He leaves me the part. | |2 weeks later: A charge shows up on my credit card for some amount over the initial diagnostic test, I guess it's for the part. No email. No invoice. Nothing. I don't understand how this business does its scheduling, customer service, whatever, because this lack of paperwork is concerning. Maybe I called the wrong number from the start, but I have never had this much trouble with a small business before - and I run one too, so I would know. | |At this point I am so mad at this business I don't ever want to deal with them again.

My refrigerator door was not closing, and Servue came out at 7pm to fix it. What followed were serveral days of complications - none caused by Servue- and they came back/called every day until it was fixed- no extra charge! They even came up with cretive, free solutions. Cannot recommend highly enough- will definitely use again for all my appliance repair needs.

It took a few phone calls to get him to come, and I was getting a little frustrated. He was not totally responsible for my frustation because he tried to reach me the day he was coming, but my phone was not working. When I finally reached him he agreed to call me later, but didn't. However, today he came by right after I called him. He was very professional and friendly. He got to work immediately. He found the problem and was able to fix it. It is rare when a service is completed in the same visit. He also took care of another issue my burners were havin. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

It was a quick visit, my repairman was knowledgable, funny and helpful.
Description of Work: I have a Fisher-Paykel dishdrawer, and in the past have had issues with "certified" repair companies recommended by the manufacturer. I chose this company after a quick internet search, and found them much more helpful than the certified companies who charge hundreds for a service call. I learned more about my machine through the phone consultation and repair visit than I have by reading the manual. The serviceman was extremely helpful in identifying the issue, and explained it to me in language I could understand. He gave me several options for repair.

It was a royal pain. I first called to get an estimate. He twice promised to come within a four-hour window, so I waited home for him with my toddler, who just wanted to go outside and accordingly was very fussy. Both times the guy failed to show up. On both occasions I called him repeatedly, but nobody ever answered and I could only leave messages. When he finally called me back (both times, he called the day after he was supposed to have showed up), he told me he'd gotten hung up on other jobs, but never apologized for not showing up or calling to tell me he couldn't make it. On the third promised visit he finally showed up and told me I needed a new knob and he'd order it and would call me within a day or two when it came in. He didn't call. After about a week I called him and he told me it had come in and he'd drop it off the next day and again gave me a window of about four hours when he'd come. He again failed to show up. We rescheduled and the same thing happened. Both times I called him repeatedly and didn't get through so had to leave messages. He finally dropped the knob off about 7:30 pm on a day he'd promised to come at noon. He told me that because of my trouble he wouldn't charge me more than the $60 he'd charged for the initial house call to give me an estimate. I can't imagine this knob cost anything close to $60 anyway. I'd never use this guy again.
