I hired Rahat Construction on the spot after Kazi and I completed a walk through of the entire house, basement thru 3rd floor. As I showed Kazi what I wanted (a very long list), he explained what he was going to do, in detail, and the materials that he would supply. He and his professional team always arrived in a timely fashion, worked unobtrusively, efficiently and effortlessly. The areas where they worked were always cleaned before they left for the day. His price was reasonable for the amount of work completed.

It went very well. Kazi and his staff are very professional, punctual and friendly. His workers are knowledgeable about the job to be done. He leaves the premises clean when the work is done.

Perfect! Mr. Ismail and his crew took down a basement wall including paneling, 2x4s, and concrete boards, in under 2 hours. After a new hot water heater was installed on another day they came back and replaced the wall. They did a terrific job, and left it in better shape than it was before. Rahat Construction is trustworthy, they come when scheduled, and always do exemplary work. I would definitely recommend this company.

Rahat Construction did a foundation repair and waterproofing in our cellar -- the issue had been bugging me for years and Rahat was great from start to finish. The owner, Kazi, did a detailed walkthrough with me, shared his ideas for solving the problem, listened to my concerns and easily adjusted the plan. They agreed to work within a very specific window of dates, and Kazi's crew was on-time every single day. Farhad, who did most of the work, was friendly and focused, and Kazi checked in with me at the site or on the phone almost daily. Their work was excellent, on budget, and they even finished a day early. I'm satisfied and hopeful our basement will finally be dry this summer and stay in great shape for years.

We had a very pleasant experience with Rahat Construction. They patched, painted and water proofed our basement walls, bricked up some unneeded window wells and paved an awkward area under our deck. They were punctual, communicative and their work was thorough. We will likely use them again.

Rahat Construction did a fantastic job of renovating our bathroom, which is very small and had a lot of unexpected structural damage. They removed all the bad work done by a previous contractor and corrected every problem they found — and there were many! When it was discovered that the exterior wall was really damaged and that our entire subfloor was beat up and battered, Kazi and his crew repointed the wall and replaced the subfloor after informing us of the problem. Kazi made sure to check in with us often throughout the process and sent pictures (since we were way). Whenever a new and unexpected problem arose, Kazi fixed it for us and made it easy. Our small bathroom looks amazing now. His crew also cleaned up and didn't leave us with a huge mess to deal with. I am really happy with the job they did and would love to hire them again for a future renovation. They do good work, they're trustworthy, they show up when they say they will, and Kazi is up front if he can't fulfill a request. He does not over promise and always delivers. Hire them with confidence for your next project. You won't be disappointed.

We needed our stoop top replaced and the entire stoop waterproofed. The job went very well - work began on-time and ended a bit earlier than estimated. Mr. Ismail kindly explained every step of work to be done in advance and made sure that we understood and approved each one. When a layer of very old brick under the stoop was discovered and shown to be unsuitable for a modern cement covering, the workers quickly built a new layer that is much sturdier. The workers also replaced a crumbling stone border at the edge of our garden, sealed the stoop against moisture, painted the interior storerom room underneath the stoop, and removed dirt and debris. I highly recommend Rahat Construction!

I hired Kazi and his crew to remodel a work space. They did demolition work, built new wall and did some plumbing and electric work for me. They are reliable and do solid work - a very good experienced overall!

I always do a lot of research before I hire someone. I came across Rahat Construction and based on his reviews and outstanding status on Angie’s list I setup an appointment. Kazi met me at the site location and we went over the issues. Kazi was very professional, honest and informative, he was very attentive to all my concerns. He described everything that needed to be done. I gotta say the job was done as described no overages or surprises. I’m very happy with Kazi and his team and would not hesitate to hire again.

So happy I found Mr. Ismail on Angie's List. Professional workers, all properly masked to stay safe. First round of work (demolishing and repaving driveway) completed in just 2 days. Second part of fixing brickwork, steps, and painting also done in just 2 days - amazing! Fingers crossed this solves issue of rain pouring into basement, but I can't imagine there'll be any problems. Very clean and meticulous work, extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

Arrived on time and finished in a timely fashion. The roof looks great, and the crew cleaned up and left the area spotless.

Kazi and his team were very professional and showed up on time every morning to tackle our project. We had our entire house waterproofed and Kazi noticed that the water damage had gone further through the mortar then expected. He has his men fill in the mortar to make sure that our home would be watertight. Kazi was very responsive to communication and was quick to offer solutions instead of just detailing problems.

We needed our whole front yard repaired including the stairs. The work that was completed was beautiful and came out better than we expected. We had cracked steps, concrete, and a huge patch of dirt that we didn't want; now our front yard is smooth, neat, and clean looking. The job was completed quickly and the team was very professional. The cost was reasonable and we LOVE the end product. We are looking to use them again for our next home project, and would recommend to friends and family.
