Kazi and his crew did excellent work on our basement and cornice. They worked efficiently and left everything in great shape. Our basement walls were crumbling and now they are clean and dry; and, our cornice is ready for the winter. Thank you Kazi!

I had been putting off this work for some time concerned about finding the right person with the know-how and professional commitment to see it thru; to my delight working with Kazi and the team from Rahat met those expectations. Right from the start, Kazi helped me to prioritize the work, explaining in detail what needed to be done, and in what order. Soon after the work was scoped out, Kazi and his team set out to work keeping a tight schedule yet being very detailed oriented at getting the job done right. As a result I no longer have to worry about crumbling foundations, and get to enjoy the fall weather admiring the geometric patterns of the pavers in my backyard. Kazi and team allowed me to check this off my list before year's end!

Job well done! The contractor was very professional. Job was done within a reasonable time for a good price. I much mention the neatness of the job. The workers did a great job cleaning up everyday before they left the area.

Rahat Construction did an amazing job repairing my basement and waterproofing the exterior of my house after Hurricane Ida. They regraded the cement, replaced the basement doors, re-fortified and repainted the damaged basement walls and replaced the badly cracked cement on my sidewalk. They are highly responsive, they work very quickly and carefully, and above all, they care about their customers—always taking time to explain decisions and new issues as they arise. This is the second time I’ve worked with them, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Excellent, timely service. I give the highest recommendation. There was an immense amount of remodeling and construction that was done to the exterior of my house which took about 4-5 months. Communication was clear and concise, prices were fair, work was done on time and of good quality and they maintained the property clean throughout the process. I look forward to working with them again when we remodel the interior.

This is the first time that I used Kazi and his excellent team at Rahat Construction. The project involved repairing the stucco around my house, repaving my backyard, fixing the cellar door steps, and repairing the cellar door. The project went very well. Kazi and his crew were punctual and the work they did clearly met my expectations. The project was completed within the time promised and the price was reasonable. I intend to use Kazi's company in the future.

This was the second time we have worked with Kazi and his wonderful team at Rahat Construction. Last summer, right before our first child was born, they repointed the 120-year-old foundation in our basement and painted and sealed the whole thing so it would be clean and bright when we started doing lots of extra laundry for the baby. That project went great, and this one did too. This time, they cleaned up and repainted the iron fencing and window guards in the front of our house and built a set of lovely and very sturdy railings and banisters for our back deck. Kazi is just a delight to work with. He's easy to communicate with, punctual, thoughtful about his approach to every detail of the job, and unlike many contractors, constantly around to make sure that the work is being done to his customers' satisfaction. We're really looking forward to working with him again in the near future.
