Description of Work: Signed a contract with Pullini Plumbers to replace our water main ($4000). Shortly afterwards found out that the license # on his contract had expired in 2009 and his insurance lapse in 2008. We stopped payment on his check---he then opened up our streeet and shut our water main off-- we were left with no water on a 98 degree day. The 105th police, Mayor's Bloomberg's office, NYC DEP, NYC Dept of Health and State Senator Padavan's office were all involved. NYC Commission of DEP accompanied Pullini workers back to our house and watched as they opened the streen again and turned our water back on. Pullini then sued us and put a lien on our house. He has since been shut down by NYC Department of Buildings,who have a civil suit against Pullini. We won the law suit against us, but he still has a lien on our house---still paying legal fees to have that removed. A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!

+ -1 moreTHEY DID A GREAT JOB, THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED IMMEDIATELY. I THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE, AND THE PLUMBER WAS VERY CLEAN WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETE.
Description of Work: CLEANED A CLOG.
