From the start, it was a pleasure working with Chris. Professional, well-informed and just an all around good guy. He showed up at the apartment on time and listened as we explained what we wanted done, offering his opinion on what would work best for our space. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and was able to start the project within our time frame. They showed up early every morning and completed the work in a timely fashion. Chris was responsive and responsible, keeping us informed every step of the way. We've recommended him to three friends already and HIGHLY recommend Plastino for all your landscaping needs.

It went very well from the beginning to the end. Chris was very pleasant to deal with. He works with his father-in-law, Peter, who is also a very pleasant, friendly and respectful man. Not only are Peter and Chris knowledgable and reliable, they are both very professional and trustworthy. Their price is reasonable as well. The only thing that perhaps they could improve is to be a bit more responsive. However, I can definitely understand that when you are so good at what you do, everyone wants you. You can definitely get very overwhelmed and anyone can understand why it'll take longer for Chris to respond. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Plastino & Son without a doubt. My wife and I are very happy with our front yard. Neighbors and many passersby have said to us: "I like your garden". So, here's to a job well done, Chris and Peter!

We have been using Plastino & Son for over a year and a half now since we have bought our new house in a landmarked area of Brooklyn. Owners Peter and Chris have always been great to us and really care about their customers and quality of their workmanship. We wanted to plant a row of Arborvitaes along the subway side of our house and hired them to do the job. They had previously removed 65 feet of concrete from this area to prep for the planting, which was a big job in itself and that went very smoothly and i was very happy with the results. To plant the Arborvitaes they had to remove a very extensive root system from a 40 foot tree we had previously removed. That alone was a big job and had to be done manually. After all the trees were planted it looked fantastic. We were very pleased with the final results. As a side note, we had them do our entire landscaping at the end of this past summer which turned our house into a beautiful showcase for the neighborhood. And minutes after they finished the job and left, a realtor pulled up in front and offered to put our house on the market for 500k more than we paid for it. For real! We also use them for our monthly yard maintenance which works out great for us since my wife and i both work and time in the yard is hard to find these days. So i have nothing but praise to give them. And with all the bad contractors we've encountered in dealing with our new home (some directly from Angie's List), finding someone like Plastino & Son was a sigh of relief.

Chris was very knowledgeable and prompt with both the job and communications. The job was looked at, provided and estimate and completed before some other landscapers returned messages.

It turned out better than I thought. It was expensive but the end result was good.

He put in a fence across the front of my lawn. He brick up the sides of my lawn, and place sod in between them. Also straighten out the side beds.

They were excellent. They are above great. They are unbelievable landscapers. They are very thorough and they come when they say they are going to come. They are fairly priced. They are not expensive at all.

I have known Plastino for over 20 years and I recently used him to landscape my backyard. He give excellent advice and hsi work is excellent and reasonably priced. One of the trees that he planted died over the winter - he replaced it cheerfully at no cost. I recommnend him.

I have known him for many years and he does a fine job.
