Took deposit and left without doing work. Had to sue and won but only managed to chase for half the money so far. Shady, avoid at all costs.

Ian took a $1000 deposit, removed all of my ductwork on my first floor leaving garbage everywhere but then disappeared. Despite numerous conversations with Ian, nobody returned to complete my job. He continuously apologized and said he'd refund my money but failed to do so. He sent a picture of a check and told me multiple times it was sent but never was. As soon as I get a day off I'm planning to file a small claims suit to get my money back. This is definitely NOT a reputable business and I had to pay someone else again to do the work. DO NOT USE. DO NOT USE.

The unit was installed in June. It is cooling a warehouse that is about 1000 square feet, and also has a heat source (machinery that makes the room hard to cool). The compressor is in an interior location that doesn't great circulation and is also hot (this was the only place the unit could be installed). So, the unit had to run 100% for the entire summer. There was a problem with the sensor on the unit at the beginning, but Piton fixed that promptly. Since then the unit has performed perfectly despite being run at maximum capacity all of the time. We figured we'd wait to write this review until the summer was over so that we could see how well the unit handled the strain. Piton installed the unit within a couple of days of our responding to the quote. Their service was friendly and professional, and the cost seems to be very competitive with other units we looked at.
