Picasso Expert Renovations

We have used George in the past and don't hesitate to call him. This particular job was extremely difficult and maybe a bit more expensive due to the fact that the house is old and has settled quite a bit, making the floors extremely uneven. No other contractor would have wanted to take it on. I'd rather pay a little more money and get the job done properly. The woof flooring came out beautiful. He did a great job camouflaging the uneven areas of the floor and removed the front door to do so. Crown molding looks terrific, paint job was neat and pavers added to the look of the driveway. Thank goodness we have George. He's willing to take on a challenge. He is very professional, upfront and gives a fair price. He keeps a close watch on his workers and see that the job is done to near perfection and is finished in a timely manner. He also responds promptly to my phone calls and any concerns that I may have. I will be hiring George in the future.

Overall, the project went extremely well. Everything I requested was done perfectly!!

George always answers the phone and replies quickly to any question or concern. They do very professional work. They remodeled our bathroom and waterproofed part of our foundation.

TERRIFIC! It was great working with George. The process went like a breeze. He is extremely professional and personable. He returned my first call for an estimate within a day and worked around my schedule wherever necessary. He was always very prompt and polite. The price was VERY REASONABLE. I had done research on what this job goes for; and I was very happy with the price. George watched over the workers and called me several times during the process to see if I was happy. The workers came on time and had the job done within 2 days. I am a bit of a perfectionist; but I must say the floors came out BEAUTIFUL. I will use George again when refinishing my basement and for other big jobs.

I can't comment on quality of work or cost competitiveness as no service was performed or quoted on. There was an issue with responsiveness to my email at first but when I was contacted it was explained there were some technology issues with the email around that time. I should also note that I did not call them, I solely relied on the email. Once we did speak they were quite helpful and in my estimation very honest. I will most likely contact them down the road with other opportunities.

We were totally satisfied. George always picks up the phone when you call and has an answer, an estimate, an exact time he will come to your house, or whatever you need. He keeps his promises and does a great job. I wish everyone in life was so professional, straightforward, and dependable. You will not be disappointed. These guys are great!

The job they did was awesome. Particularly the carpentry in the closet. We had to maintain function on an exterior door. They built custom drawers and shelves with custom shoe shelves around it. Then they built an storage area above the closet and lined both with cedar. They topped it off by accessing the closet with french doors which greatly increased the appearance of the size of the bedroom it connected to. They also did multiple handiwork such as installing a wall mounted TV, planning down and rehanging old doors which were not functioning, and replacing door locks which were not functional. They even took a door off when I had a couch delivered that would not fit through the existing door so the delivery people could get it in.

I was very satisfied with the work done. Everything was handled in a professional manner, from the appointment set-up through the completion of the work. In fact, I am probably going to use them, in the near future, to do some inside painting, as well.

They showed up promptly, were very professional, had lots of good ideas and were courteous. In the end, I chose to go with another company.

They were really professional. I looked at some jobs that they did, this job was small but they made the time for my small job. No job is too small for this company. They did an excellent job and my bathroom looks brand new. Thank you!

The estimate offered was fair and consistent with costs in this area. More importantly, Picasso completed the job at the estimated price. There were no additional costs, except those associated with my changes. Picasso completed the job according to the planned scheduled. George, aka Picasso, was receptive to my concerns as the job developed and ensured steady progress. Benny, the mason, is a true artist with brick. His helpers performed their tasks professionally and exhibited the highest standards of excellence. Not only did the crew secure and clean the work area at the end of the day, they maintained the neighboring areas, as well. I am more than satisfied with Picasso: professionalism, excellence, cleanliness at a reasonable price, who could ask for more. I will not hesitate to contact Picasso for future projects, of which there are many. PS- The neighbors rave about the job and the manner in which it was completed.

All this they did while we were on vacation. We came home to a brand new house. What a wonderful experience it was for us. They were very neat, kept us informed of everything,made suggestions that worked out beautifully, kept our neighbors happy and all in all did an excellent and much appreciated job.

It was a most pleasant experience. George was always on time as were the workers that he employed. They did a wonderful job. Everything was done neatly and the end result was just as I wanted. Suggestions were offered that were appreciated and they were responsive to my questions and concerns. They started and finished the job in a timely fashion so that I was able to quickly rent out the apartment. I would use them again for future needs and would highly recommend them.

They were professional. Their quote was $20000. He was great other than the fact that he was way too expensive. He responded to me and worked around my schedule. He always called back. I would not use them again.

Overall we were very pleased! We look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Asked for a quote on a Tuesday, and one of the owners said that he could send someone out Thursday or Friday to do the work. The next day, on Wednesday afternoon, he called back to apologize to say that it would not be possible to send out an employee before Tuesday the following week. His unprofessional understatement of his company's own current workload cost me time and money.

I needed repairs on a 2 family house due to termite damage. I obtained three estimates and I decided on Picasso Home Improvement because George was concerned about the cause of the termite problem and not just making the repairs. Both George and Brian decided what needed to be done as far as the repairs. It was a little more involved than I thought but in order to preserve the integrity of the house it had to be done the right way. George also consulted with the exterminator, mason and plumber making sure that everything that needs to be done to prevent the termites from coming back would be done. This was a very stressful time for me and George was considerate and thoughtful and helped me through this process. In my book, George is a "Super" Contractor.

Picasso is an extremely experienced company and they know exactly how to meet the customers wants & needs, and they have proven to me once again - they can deliver! What impressed me the most is their professionalism as a group of workers. They always stuck to their work schedule, very prompt, and on the days they would be late (ex. picking up material), they always called to reassure me they were running a little behind schedule so not to alarm me they weren't showing up. I was very comfortable and had no problem leaving them in my home unsupervised, so i could leave and run errands throughout the day. All the workers were very trustworthy. Each day they left my home, made sure they cleaned up after themselves, so well you would never even know i had workers there. Any future work or projects i have, I will be calling on PICASSO.

I thought they were a little bit pricey but I agreed to the price so I cannot complain. I am satisfied with the work, the only problems I have is with some of the plumbing work but I am going to call them back for the repairs.

In every aspect Picasso did an excellent job. Picasso drywalled the walls and ceilings in three rooms. They painted all the rooms, reframed all the windows and painted those as well. The quality of the work was excellent. They also remodeled the bathroom including tiling and fixtures. What was really great besides completing the job on schedule and within budget was that they went the extra mile. They went out of there way to make sure that my mother was happy with their work whether that meant doing a little extra repair work that was not part of the contract or even taking out the garbage. I would and plan to hire Picasso for my next remodeling job.

They contacted me quickly and wanted to start the job right away. They showed up on time, explained what they thought should be done... and handled the job... while keeping in constant contact to let me know how it was going. George was on top of the job at all points. Thanks ! 2 WEEKS LATER... o.k. How good is this... They called me back to check if I was happy, and to thank me for my business... That's Service !

I got another estimate. They were willing to sand down 10 layers of paint on the doorframes. I wanted the original wood to be sanded down and restained. They were willing to do it and they did it with such care and kid gloves. They cleaned everything. They called everyday to let me know what was going on. They were very accommodating. It was such a nice crew. The price was pretty high but it was worth it. They did it in the time frame that I needed them to do it. In fact they did a little overtime so they could finish it even sooner. I was trying to get it done before my mother came back from vacation. I own the house but my mother lives there. He did not go one dollar over the estimated price. George helped me with the color selection. He did crown molding and refinished the door frames. He helped me get doors. There was a lot of home improvement done. He painted walls and ceilings in the kitchen. He took down fans and put up lights. It changed the interior of the house so much. He was worth every penny. It is a small house but so very pretty. My mother was really happy when she walked in. I had had the basement finished and they used drywall to cover the pipes. The gas company told me I could be fined because it could catch on fire so I told George and he came back and made the holes bigger and didn't complain or charge me. He said if there were any problems to call him and he would fix it. It is a good company. He replastered, spackled because there were a lot of cracks. I knew it would cost a lot to sand down the paint on the doorframes and it was worth it. It took his crew about a week just to do the doorframes. I had gotten two other estimates but they wouldn't do the doorframes the way I wanted them. I could have gotten it $6,000 cheaper and it would have looked good but not the way I wanted. I was very happy.
