One Hour Pest Control

I just got off the phone with the owner Ray from the Queens location who is completely unprofessional. I had called a month ago to fix a water bug problem in my boiler room. I paid $220 for this service. A week after I noticed a water bug near my bedroom. (FYI my house is completely immaculate so it's not coming from anywhere else but my basement). I immediately called to say that the spray they used didn't work, and they told me to give it some more time. Fast forward a month later and I still have the same problem. I had called Ray a second time to tell him how the problem was never resolved in the first place. I asked if they can come back and try using the gravel instead of the spray because it's stronger. I feel that I paid for a service that I never received. However Ray didn't think I was a good enough customer because I only call yearly for summer service. He wants to scam and get me to pay for monthly service blaming it on rain. (It's 90 degrees today) I told him I didn't mind paying for monthly service but that I would like him to waive a one time fee being that the bugs never responded to the chemicals used. I can understand if the problem returned months later but not one week later. Do not use their service!!

Frank from One Hour Pest Control arrived and when I described my problem he immediately put me at ease. He told me how he planned to handle it and got to work. He answered all my questions and was very courteous and professional. He plugged a hole where the ants were coming in from outside and put chemicals inside and outside the house. He explained that the chemicals would take a few days to show results. That was one week ago and I have seen a huge difference. The big swarms of ants have disappeared, including the flying ants that had taken up residence in my kitchen. I am very relieved!

Ray was prompt and professional. He performed the inspection and explained his findings. He was pleasant to deal with and I would hire again if needed.

Having managed a pest control company office years ago, I am familiar with PC protocols and processes. Although it was a long time ago, not much has changed in the PC industry, except maybe the chemicals (somewhat). Application techniques haven't changed all that much. Pests have not changed at all. Consequently, I was very clear about the nature of the problem, the cause, and what I needed to do about it. Ray was responsive, personable (if a little loquacious,) and professional. He listened as I explained my problem and how I wanted to address it before work started, so I had a clear understanding of what he was going to do, and the results I could expect. Ray is very much an "old-school" exterminator, and I doubt there's much he hasn't seen or doesn't know about urban pests of all kinds. Coincidentally, it was this factor that made me choose Ray over the other "A" Grade Angie's Lister. I wanted someone with YEARS of experience dealing with old houses with their overbuilt construction and antiquated systems. Ray treated everywhere I requested and places I had overlooked, as well. He was clear about what was covered in the price, which was reasonable for the job. I will definitely use his company again

These guys were super responsive. Darryl showed up in short order and conducted a methodical treatment of our very complicated space. He came back a few days later to follow up. Our problem was resolved. When mice returned later in the year, he came back, found one more hole that hadn't been plugged, re-baited and solved our problem again -- I'd like to say for good? -- for a $99 visit fee. I think the initial price was fairly comparable to other services, but the quality, reliability, and ease of re-contacting make us really appreciate this company.

I meant to do this a while ago. But better late than never. I had an issue with Bed bugs in my brownstone; fortunately they were limited to just one level of the house. I called One Hour Pest Control, based on their previous reviews. And prayed that they would be able to come out before I had bed bugs throughout the house. They were prompt and very professional. I believe that it was Ray that came out. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He not only diagnosed where and the stages of infestation I had. He also showed and explained what I was dealing with and had very helpful suggestions on what to do about it. I felt as if I was in competent, reliable hands. I also appreciated that he didn’t just spray and leave. He gave me instructions and scheduled a follow up - which was part of the cost. When he came back, he checked on the effectiveness of what he had done - no bed bugs, no bed bug larvae and no bed bug eggs! As a customer, I appreciated that he explained to me what he was looking for and what he was doing. It has been over a month, and I am still bed bug free! I would not hesitate calling One Hour Pest Control again if I needed an exterminator.

They came to our house quickly and assessed the rat problem we had in our backyard. Put traps down and filled in some burrows we had in the backyard. Quick and easy

One Hour Pest Control scheduled us as soon as possible. Gave us a prep on what needed to be done before the technician came. Once the extermination started he was very thorough throughout the entire process and my home is bug free since the trwatments.
