On Time Carpet

Nathan and his team were great! Very professional and very caring. My carpets look like new again! I was especially impressed with the work they did on the stairway. It had carpeting that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 40 years. They used their magic to make it look new. They explained everything they were doing in detail and periodically checked with me to make sure the cleaning was to my satisfaction. They clearly knew what they were doing. They even took away one of my rugs, which was part cotton and thus needed more special treatment, to clean at their business location for no extra charge. It came back glowingly clean and they took the time to put it back perfectly in the same place it was before. I paid extra to have my microfiber couch cleaned as well - it cost way more than the deal alone, but I was fine with paying it. They were genuinely nice guys and I appreciated their attention to detail and my home - they even took their shoes off so as not to mess up the carpets they just cleaned!

Nathan and Tyler were very professional. They got caught in traffic on the way to the house and called to let me know they were on the way. They completed all of the work in the Angie's list offer, even though some of the areas were quite large. They honored their unlimited area offer. The carpets look great. They were very nice. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Guys did a very thorough job and caprets look great. They came out on a Sunday (yeah!) but hit traffic so were delayed. Overalll I would use them again.

Excellent service overall. Carpets were cleaned quickly and efficiently. Timing was a little unfortunate since carpets need 5 Hours to dry before they should be walked on. Originally scheduled for 10AM - 12PM they called a day before to reschedule for 12PM - 3PM. On the day of the service they rescheduled for 4PM and finished at 5PM. So the carpets were not dry till about 10PM. We were going out to the movies and dinner with friends so it did not matter to us, but it is something to keep in mind if you need to use the rooms.

Nathan was wonderful, showed up on time to give us a detailed estimate. His price was very competitive and was there promptly to clean the carpet. Our entire design team interacted with him to get the quote, to let him on site and we all had the same opinion that it was wonderful working with him.

For the low price point, they did a great job. We had received estimates of $60/cushion from other vendors. Nathan cleaned both couches and an ottoman for $100 plus tip.

They did a good job. The carpets were very clean and there was one that was just not coming clean and I had a suspicion that it was just too old and I think the work confirmed my feelings that it was too old.

When I spoke with the owner a few months later they changed their tune and said they can't do the work as I requested. We did work around that, but the customer service was poor. They put down a deodorizer, which I didn't notice a difference with, but my carpet was wet for longer than it should have been.

Amazing! I have had my couches and rugs cleaned many times and I can say with certainty they were never as clean as they were after Nathan finished with everything. He was thorough in the work and honest and upfront about everything. He did an incredible job and was also a real joy to work with, responsible and communicative about everything. I will absolutely use him again.

This was a $99 big deal purchase. It went okay, actually. I mean, he was really nice, but I don't know how clean the carpet turned out in the end. I don't think they were well cleaned afterwards. Their quality is where it kind of suffered. They were pretty responsive. He was a nice guy and didn't, like, not listen to us. He was on time. If there was any way to clean the carpets better they could have done that better. They could have had better quality. They left the area clean after they finished.

They were fantastic. The representative was punctual and did a fantastic job. He was friendly and we even enjoyed a cup of coffee together afterwards.

It turned out fabulous. They did a great job. If they don't have another deal, I wouldn't use them. It would be significantly more money than I wanted to pay.

He did a superb job and the results are nothing short of brilliant. He was cheerful and accommodating and negotiated our small space with no complaints at all. He didn't complain about the stairs either. He was meticulous and paid extraordinary attention to detail and above wanted to make sure I was pleased with the results. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

So so. They took the rugs with them to clean. The Moroccan rug in particular had to be done by hand. One of the pottery barn rugs had a strange odor since a few months after I bought it. Nathan said they could clean it, wasn't sure what the smell was (it smelled like a chemical). After the initial visit I wasn't contacted again. I had to contact them to have the rugs returned when they didn't contact me. They brought them back, told me it was all good. Three looked good, but that one with the chemical smell still smelled exactly the same. I told them, so they sprayed something on it and said to call if it didn't work. It didn't. I've had this rug for years and kind of knew that a simple spray wouldn't help. They took it back, said they'd do a deep cleaning, that would fix it. I didn't hear back from them again. If I remember correctly, it was a few weeks. I called again, they brought the rug back. Still had the same smell. By this time I had spoken to someone from pottery barn, they told me it was the backing that was a problem, and not to touch it. Meanwhile On Time was trying to remove it to get rid of the smell. So when they finally brought it back and it still smelled, I said to just forget it. Nathan insisted on taking it back and trying again. Multiple times I said to just forget it. They took it again, and I never heard back. I don't know what they did with the rug, but they were supposed to call me when they cleaned it again. I've not come across a business like this before, where they take your rugs away to clean but you have to contact them to get them back. Shouldn't they notify the customer when they are ready? Just odd. But it bothered me to have to keep contacting them. The second issue I had with On Time was with professionalism. There were two people I met. Angelo was great- very professional. Came in, did his work, and left. Nathan was with him, but frequently left Angelo while he was working, taking some rather personal phone calls. I was home and heard everything. It got to the point that I almost asked him Togo outside, because I didn't want to hear his personal matters so loudly. It's just awkward. And also speaking of awkward, he can come off slightly creepy. Kept repeating "I just want you to be happy" and not leaving. I worked nights at the time, needed him to come and go quickly (I told him I needed to go to sleep for a shift that night), but after taking the rugs he hung back and just kept talking for a long time. Again, just awkward. I prefer the type of people that come in, get their work done, and leave. No long unwanted conversations with me, and no loud personal phone calls when you are doing work in someone's house. It was very uncomfortable. I'll try another provider next time. Their work was ok, but between the awkwardness and the fact that I had to keep contacting them instead of the other way around, I'm just not interested in using them again.
