STAY AWAY FROM OM MOVING. Disrespectful customer service along with missing and damaged items. We had scheduled packing on a Thursday and moved on a Friday. We did not select the unpacking services with OM, so it took us until the following Thursday (6 days later) to have all of the boxes for a family of four unpacked and broken down. Upon breaking down the last boxes, we realized there was a large chunk taken out of our primary dresser (the box had been covering this). We also found that my jewelry and sunglass tree was not there. When we called to report these issues, UV rushed me off the phone and told me to just "text him the issues." I sent him a picture of the damage and outlined the missing jewelry and sunglasses. I had to call back multiple times (now speaking with Granger each time) to try and get an update on what happened to our items. Finally, UV returned my calls, said his movers said everything was moved and our items wouldn't be covered. He said my jewelry would not be covered because the movers told us they don't move jewelry. That was simply not true. They told us they would not individually wrap each piece of jewelry separately but would take it all in the box. UV even admitted they took the box. Saying he was told "they put that box inside of another box with backpacks and shoes, etc." We have every backpack we own, so that was clearly not the cause. He also told us our dressers would not be covered because "it's still usable." While that may be true, we shouldn't have to have damaged furniture due to OM's negligence. The worst part about the situation is not the material items lost or damaged. It was the absolute disregard and disrespect from UV. The conversation erupted into a screaming match because he constantly interrupted and railroaded me. My husband got on the phone when he heard UV screaming at me and UV quickly changed his tune to "okay well I'm sure I can figure something out with you." This didn't last long and he continued to interrupt and railroad my husband in the same manner. He even went so far as to insult us by calling us liars. We tipped our movers 22% (over $900 the day of the move) only to be treated like garbage when we discovered an issue. We entrusted OM with our personal items. They not only fell through, but also insulted us and dismissed us afterwards. I told him I would never be able give them a referral and would be writing this review. he responded "good do it." It truly is an experience I never want to relive. Avoid the drama and go with Oz (who may cost more but has a WAY better reputation for a clear reason).

With Om Moving, everything went perfectly, which can rarely be said for a move. Yuval, the owner/manager, came to my house to survey it, and gave me a detailed estimate. When the move had to be delayed by a couple of days due to real estate closing problems, he was entirely accommodating. On our stifling 95-degree moving day, Juan and his crew were highly organized, friendly, and professional, and took perfect care of all unpacked and untaped items. During our move, they made a couple of side trips and left items for others as requested. At our new home, the crew placed and set up everything as needed while breaking absolutely nothing. Although moving is never fun, Om Moving made it as painless for me as I could possibly have imagined. I would recommend them to anyone.
