New Age Ironworks turned out to be the answer to my quest. They are responsive, creative, intelligent, craftsmanlike, with evident great pride in workmanship. Their prices are competitive and their follow-up is excellent. The owner of the company is a pleasure to work with and the crew is punctual and gentlemanly. I'm delighted with the work and many people who pass by the windows (on a busy NY sidewalk) have commented on how handsome the grates are.
Description of Work: Fabricated and installed one new, iron window guard for my ground-floor apartment, duplicating the beautiful, detailed, decades-old design of the existing guards. Built and installed frameworks for five existing window guards to set them farther out from the facade (giving me space to install air conditioners.), matching many of the details on the existing guards.
