I couldn't have been happier with the work that Mumtaz and his team completed at my home. Mumtaz was responsive, punctual, and professional. The price was very fair and the job was done quickly and exceptionally well. I would highly recommend Maxon Construction to anyone looking for gutter replacement and/or waterproofing work done.

Work went very well, workers were punctual and cleaned up nicely afterwards. The garage looks great, happy with the outcome.

Both jobs went superbly. They showed up exactly on time--8am. We worked with them to determine the functional and design features that we were looking for. The consulted with us as the project went on, and we made adjustments as required. they even showed us that the pitch on the front and side gutters were correct by pouring water into the gutters. In the end, we got exactly what we wanted. We were so pleased, that we've put them on our list of "great service providers."

Mumtaz provided a very reasonable estimate and started the work the next day with his assistant and the work was completed in 3 days. They showed up on time and were very neat and cleaned up each day. We were very pleased with the quality of the work that was done and would recommend them highly.

This is the 3rd time that I have hired Maxon Construction. I have also recommended them to a friend and he was very satisfied as well. The owner, Mumtaz, is very professional and honest . He showed up for the estimate when he promised, and was able to start the work right away. He and his workers are very prompt, and are always on time. They are very courteous and neat workers. I would definitely hire them again, and I would highly recommend them to others. They are very professional.

It never got done because when I asked for proof of license and insurance, they told me they didn't have either

Mumtaz replaced the roof and performed serious drain carpentry. Four men performed the task IN ONE DAY in 96 degree weather. Provided a verbal price and no paperwork, except to take my payment by check. GREAT price and excellent quality! If you need paperwork or a guy who knows computers, get somebody else. But if you want the roof done seriously, carefully and at a good price, call Mumtaz at Maxon.

It went very smoothly. Mumtaz called me in the evening to confirm that he had the correct address and to reassure me that he was coming in the morning before the storm arrived. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He was great with communicating his scope of work, timing and estimate. While concentrating on the gutters he did see some problems with my roof that he thought I should take care of but I told him I'd hold off because I was planning to do the entire roof next Summer. He said he would do some touch-ups to the roof anyway at no extra cost. Overall they did a great job and would hire them again.

Mumtaz is the guy to call! In a sea of unqualified or price-gouging charlatans, please spend your dollars here!! You will get high quality work and feel reassured that your money is well-spent. Mumtaz and his assistant provided quality work at a good price, promptly returned the next day to do it, and did it efficiently. I recently bought a house that is in great shape, but still has a list of stuff to be done, and I have consulted so far with at least 4 companies about various repairs needed done. It is so disheartening to invite a repair(wo)man or construction company to my house and get the gut feeling that they don't know what they're doing or they do but don't care about you. I could tell that Mumtaz of Maxon Construction knew what he was talking about, was honest in his assessment (no frills, no manipulation), quoted a good price for the work, and then returned to show up on time (even a few minutes early), and got to work straight away. He was available and patient in answering my questions, trustworthy, and reassuring. He quickly was able to point out where the construction company who renovated the house failed to do important, basic steps (but that might go unnoticed if you are not a construction person yourself), and he didn't pressure me at all in considering what additional preventative work I wanted to do (trust me, preventative work is always worth it!). He helped me up on the roof to inspect myself the work he had completed and pointed out things for me to notice and inspect. There are still items left to be done, and Mumtaz is the guy I'm going to call from hereon out!

Very well better than I expected. They scrapped loose paint then power washed almost to the original building material. Two coats of paint were applied. The work was meticulous. Our neighbors are all commenting on how the house looks new. They also repaired a portion of the chimney and painted it too.

This was our second time working with Maxon. Both times for roof work. This time was for a different roof than last time. We had some leaking coming through when it rained. These guys were fast, flexible, responsive, and professional, just like last time. They came when it was convenient for us, assessed the problem, got it done quickly, and said they'd guarantee the work if there are any problems, just call and they'll come take care of it. Would definitely call again and recommend.

The job went well. The team worked on three of the hottest days of the summer and did high quality work at a really fair price. Mumtaz and his workers cared a lot about the quality of their work, doing a thorough job, being clean and orderly, and maintaining a relationship for future work. He oversaw and stayed at the job supervising the work all three days. In the past I've worked with companies that drop off workers who start the job, while supervisor disappears. This attention to detail ensured a wonderful final product.

Mumtaz arrived promptly to give me estimate and was ready to do work quickly. The repairs seem fine but won't know till we get next hard rain if this solves my problem. Water was flowing over roof onto deck and flooding my basement. Not going down roof drain properly. The men worked hard all day and roof edge looks so much better as they painted and re-caulked boards at top of my back wall adjacent to roof. He also pointed out other repairs needed and gave me estimates which all seemed reasonable. I like that he's willing to do everything from re-caulking bathrooms to putting down an entire new roof. His men even fixed my bathroom door which wasn't closing properly for no additional charge. Nice hardworking crew and very professional. I would definitely use them again.

I hired Maxon Construction to check and repair the gutters on my house. They were leaking very badly. Two men checked the gutter and found a large amount of debris. They cleaned the gutter and fixed the down spout which had also been leaking badly.and found the the down spout was missing a part where,it was connected to the gutter. They removed the down spout and replaced the missing part. They repainted all surfaces that needed it. The area looks great, clean and fresh. Above all, no leaking! Now, I don't have to worry when it rains.I .

Mumtaz Ahmed looked over work needed and gave me a detailed estimate which I agreed on. He arrived the day specified on time with 2 workmen. The two men worked the entire day, they were professional and did a great job. They returned next day to finish up and remove all debris. I was completely satisfied.

Mumtaz and his crew is great to work with. They come on time every day, work very hard all day, they do high quality work and the pricing is reasonable.

The work was done well. They were fast, professional, friendly, and their pricing was very competitive. We were very pleased to work with them, and plan to call them again soon to help with some other things we need done.

He never once told me there would be a fee for an Estimate until the last minute asking me for $20.00 for his toll. Completely unacceptable. If I hired him, he would return the $20, otherwise he was going to keep it. While $20 may not be much, I am going on principal. He never told me there was a fee...

Very pleased with Maxon. The were wonderfully responsive: I called them on Wednesday, they sent someone to look at the job on Friday, and everything was finished by 11am on Monday. It was a small job, but Mumtaz was here with his crew -- they arrived right on time, did the work, and cleaned up. And the price was extremely reasonable. I can't imagine a better experience -- highly recommended.

Two walls in the basement of my 2 family home had deteriorated badly. The wall adjacent to the outside had exposed brick and the wall that forms an L with that wall was crumbling. Odors from the sewer, moisture, insects and rodents had started to seep in. I contacted Maxon Construction and Mumtaz came to the rescue. I had hired him before so I knew that he was punctual and clean and his price is very reasonable. It took them only 2 days to lift a huge weight off of my shoulders. Maxon Construction is now my go to company for masonry repair, water proofing and anything else the company does.

They came on time and responded to all my concerns.

Maxon Construction is a wonderful company to do business with. This was my first experience with Maxon, and my husband and I are very happy with the results. Our steps were so badly damaged from the big winter snowstorm that one of them (the third step up) was on a diagonal slanted position and very dangerous to step on. The cement was missing all across the steps and the brickwork needed to be pointed. It was so bad that the mail person refused to deliver our mail because it was getting dangerous. They came yesterday and painted yellow marks on our steps with a Warning sign that we had better get the steps fixed or no more deliveries! I had already contacted Mr. Ahmed about this in February and found him to be very friendly, personable and extremely professional. I wanted to wait until it got a bit warmer, and we just had the work done today. Mr. Ahmed showed up with another worker and they showed up on time (maybe even a bit early). In summary, the worker is highly skilled and did a terrific job. The results could not be better. Mr. Ahmed made sure to take extra time to do this job and paid attention to details. They used very high grade quality cement, and pointed beautiful, straightening out the step that was slanted and tilted in that dangerous position and now it is straight. They did extra pointing work around the side of the steps, too. My steps are now straight and very sturdy. What I liked most is that this was not a gigantic whole house job, and yet they treated the job with care and full attention to it, as if we had redone the whole house. The worker who did the job is very professional. And the price for the job was reasonable. I am definitely going to use Maxon Construction again, and I give Mr. Ahmed very high marks for his company and his work.

Maxon was very professional. They came in twice, once to do a evaluation and the second time to go over additional concerns. Both times they arrived on time and were professional. On the scheduled day they arrived on time and completed the work exactly as we had discussed. To be sure we would have no problems, they waterproofed all cracks and joins on the side of the house. In the process they discovered a sprinkler head that had been buried. At no charge they reworked the path to make sure the sprinkler's would not be affected. Once they were done, they cleaned up and left the place as they had found We were very satisfied with the work and will use them for related external work. We have discussed a second phase where we would build a cinderblock wall to prevent further erosion. I look forward to working with them again.
