I did some research on exterior painters on Angie's list. The job was small so I decided to go with Maxon constructio. Mumtaz was punctual when he came and gave me estimate which seemed a little high priced($950 for a 20'x25' area). I was hoping the quality of the work would take the sting out of the price which it did. Mumtaz and his guys were on time to start the job. they completed all the work and cleaned everything up without any issues. I will rehire them to do additional work. And I would refer them to anyone seeking to have exterior painting done. Overall my wife and I were very satisfied.

Made an appointment for today at 10am and he never showed up. Called twice and left voicemails but no one returned my call. Thanks for wasting my vacation day.

It has been a week and nothing. I am thoroughly disgusted that contractors cannot be trustworthy and home owners are at their mercy for necessary jobs needed... I thought that on Angie's list I could finally find someone I could trust and based on the reviews thought finally I can have my porch done.. but no such luck... I am cancelling my subscription because I don't need to pay to be insulted or mistreated.

Since they have such an abundance of great reviews on Angie's List I contacted them for a quote on quite an extensive job requiring rebuilding of a porch, staircase, and re-pouring of concrete sidewalk and driveway. I got a call on a Friday and we arranged a Saturday morning appt. On Saturday morning he called and said he'd be here in a half an hour. When he didn't show up over an hour later, I called him and he seemed bothered by my call. He said he'd "call back in two minutes". I gave him a benefit of a doubt and waited around for another hour realizing that things go wrong on construction sites and he might be dealing with an emergency at a customer's house. However, as I am writing this review over 24 hours later and he still hasn't returned my call, I am glad he didn't show up and get this job. If this is his approach to acquiring a customer, I am afraid of what he might've done after getting my deposit. This was very unprofessional!

This was a small pointing and waterproofing job of some patchy areas over an extension. Uslam arrived when he said he would, completed the job with a minimum of intrusion, cleaned up thoroughly, and was pleasant to work with. We did the work with only a verbal contract. I was hesitant about that but it was such a small job that I went ahead. There were no problems.

They were on time, they were courteous and they did a very good job.

The job required an emergency call around midnight and owner Mumtaz came immediately to Queens from Brooklyn in the pouring rain. He covered the damaged roof with plastic to prevent any further water damage and took pictures. The following morning he arrived early to make the permanent repair which is holding up presently. I am extremely satisfied with the services Maxon has provided and they are at the top of my preferred vendors list.

.My house looks brand new! Showed up 15 minutes after my call for an estimate and started the next day. No drips or smears, excellent craftsmanship. Couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Took pictures of the damage and explained why the last job was not done correctly. repaired the next day.

We asked somebody else to do it and he gave us his name. It is a small operation and the guy was absolutely amazing. He is wonderful! He is great! When he says he is coming, he is coming. He is on time and he is so understanding. We were pleased. We paid him half and then when he finished we paid him the other half, and he was happy and he gave us his card. He is a really nice guy. He told us he will fix everything for us and we didn't have to worry. The price was really reasonable. He worked within our budget. He was kind and thoughtful. He said that if we need anything else, he is available. He told us not to worry, we can call him anytime.

Mumtaz was great. He was very punctual and was able to do the job right away. He showed up on time and finished when he said he would. He did a complete new rubber roof with gutters in two days. So far everything is working perfectly. The price he quoted was the price he charged.

Mumtaz and his crew were great from start to finish. Very thorough and clean job. No leaks. Responsive, punctual, and efficient. If I were to make a suggestion it would be that they would provide quotes or estimates in a format more suitable for submitting to an insurance company if one needed to. I would definitely hire these guys again. Going to have them repoint the back of the house in the spring.

Mumtaz was very prompt and helpful. It's been six months, and we have had no further leaks in the areas that he patched. He also did more flashing and fixing that we discussed where he thought necessary without increasing the price. I am remembering to write this now because I am reaching out to him to do more other work on my house.

Mumtaz & co showed up early, did the job impeccably, quickly, and efficiently. He explained everything that he was workingon and fixing so all was clear. My roof extension looks neater than it has in my 12 years of living here. It looks amazing, and they took extra care to clean up well.

I had them do two jobs and they were very good. I thought the guy who did the roof was very responsive. I needed something done quickly and he was able to do it quickly. He did a very nice, neat job and I thought his prices were reasonable. He was personable. Their quality was excellent.

Mr. Ahmed provided me with a 'temporary' solution to a leak in the basement, due to a crack in the foundation. I wanted to correct this problem before repaving my driveway. Upon my discussion with Mr. Ahmed, repaving the driveway was the correct solution. I decided not to spend any money on the 'temporary' solution but spend the $ on repaving the driveway. Mr. Ahmed was professional and responsive. He properly set my expectations. Once I have decided how to repave the driveway, I will ask him back to provide me with a quotation.

Maxon promptly answered my request for an appointment to look at the work to be done & give me an estimate. We met on the day we agreed upon. We agreed on a price. He and his workers returned on the day promised and completed the work on the same day in a timely professional manner. I would use Maxon Construction again.

He came out to give me an estimate to fix my windows. When he showed up to fix my windows, he demanded cash on the spot before he started the work. He wanted me to give $1,300 for materials before he even started the job. When I declined, he walked off the job. I offered to go with him to the supply store to pay for the supplies with my credit card, but he would not allow that.

We called Maxon for a free estimate in which Mumtaz arrived an hour early for. The beginning of the inspection went okay but it was very difficult to understand how the work was going to be done, timeline, cost, and what the overall scope of work was going to include. He said he would call us later in the afternoon to let us know the price and we never received a call. The next day I called him back for the estimate, and he said he'd call us an hour later. He did call us back but again I could not clearly understand what he was saying and requested if he could send us the estimate via email. He said no, mail. Im sure they do good work, but the cost and deliverables were not clearly communicated to us. Back to square one.

Amazed at how well this went. Received an estimate several days after our initial call and the work was done shortly thereafter. The workers came on time every day and cleaned up afterward. It rained heavily one day and we were called early enough to make other plans.Islam was very easy to talk to and very helpful and open to suggestions. Explained what they were doing as work progressed and pointed out several little things that needed doing. Workers were neat, quiet and efficient. We will definitely use them in the future and highly

Mumtaz and his team were at all times prompt, polite and responsive. The roof looks good. This is the sort of thing that I'm not going to really know the quality of work until the roof leaks or doesn't over the next 5 to 10 years, but Mumtaz also gave us a written warranty.

He was very unprofessional and not at all equiooed to examine my roof.

Mr. Ahmed responded very promptly to our call and was the last company out of three to give us his estimate. the other two companies came promptly as well, but Maxon's was by far the lowest. He very clearly explained what he was going to do, set up a date to do the work for the following week. One of the other contractors not only was inordinately expensive but couldn't start until June. Mr. Ahmed was there for the four days it took to do the job His two workers were skilled and eager to please. Ahmed came when he said he would and took great pride in his work and was extremely pleasant . The brickwork was beautiful. He power washed the entire patio afterwards and everything looked like new. He also threw in a few minor repairs to the existing patio and surrounding cement. our neighbor was so impressed that she hired Ahmed to do her 2 stoops as well.
