Main Man Water Main & Sewer Service

His crew arrived early in the day and worked tirelessly the whole day. The job included digging up part of the yard, under the porch, the tree-pit area, and the street where the main line connect was located. I was told when not to turn on water, which lasted for about one hour. Their clean up was professional and all holes filled. Scott and his crew answered all questions patiently. Afterwards I was showed all that was done. Scott also recommended that I followup and get insurance for my water and waste lines through American Water Resources' Line Protection Provider Program which I did.

Scott and his team are highly skilled, professional, courteous, and of high integrity. We found the pricing very fair, but what's more was that we felt very comfortable putting our trust in Main Man Water Works to get the job done right. I had a lot of other companies come by to give estimates, and most of them were opportunistic. I know we made the best choice for the job we had, which involved fixing a leaky water main connection and then repairing our street. Some of his competitors were fixing to gouge us. Scott works well with the Department of Environmental Protection and gave us good advice throughout the process, even advising to obtain water main insurance from the DEP once all was done.

Before beginning the job he stuck a camera into the main line to verify the problem and included this in the price. Other plumbers wanted to charge additional money for the camera scoping. When the pipe section was replaced and before burying the line he put the camera in the main pipe again and found that he needed to excavate another several feet and replace that also. He included that in the original price and once again put the camera in the line to verify the pitch was correct and that there was no back pitch. Once everything was sloped properly and flowing to my satisfaction the pipes were buried. Since this was my garage and a car would be parked on this area I requested rebar be used to reinforce the new cement which he gladly provided. Very satisfied with the job and he gave a 5 year written guarantee. Very pleasant, patient, accommodating contractor. I would not hesitate using him again.

Scott and his crew are a first class operation. They came prepared for all contingencies and they were truly professional. Prior to the installation Scott came to the house to provide me with an estimate. Scott provided a clear understanding of the job and looming possible problems. We had the DEP Inspector here the other day to activate the water meter and the inspector was impressed with the quality of the job. Scott filed all the paper work, got the permit and handled every detail making this a stress free process. Thank you Scott for all your help.

On 12/20/15 I filled out request form on their website about a sewer drainage problem. Got no response. About 4pm on 12/21/15, I called their number. The person that answered sounded drunk and was very rude. Based on reviews by others here, I was very surprised.

Omg! What a GREAT PLUMBER!!! From the first phone call with Scott, to the finish everything went perfectly. Scott arrived on time for an estimation, he quickly figured out exactly what needed to be done, gave me a price right away and explained how he will preform the job. He return in two days with a crew, and complete the job as promised. I was impressed by the crew`s professionalism and good manners. They were super nice, neat and worked quickly. Scott was very thorough, diligent and extremely knowledgeable, he personally supervised all the work, he was prompt and exceptionally polite. They did a great job, and I won`t have to worry anymore about rain coming through the basement door. I will call Scott again and would enthusiastically recommended his company.

Overall, we are happy with the Job and we would use Scott again. Scott really cares about the work and wants to make sure it is done right. He was very professional, knowledgeable and made great suggestions as to how to proceed and they knocked the whole job out in less than a day. If it was only Scott, we would have given him an A in Professionalism but we had to give a "C = Fair" because one of his workers used the disconnected toilet in the basement which meant it had no where to go but stay in the toilet. They also forgot to put a cap on the pipe that lead to the outside but in Scotts defence, when he was told about it, he came back the next day and took care of both, the mess in the toilet and the cap. I was also concerned that something may have been wrong (which it wasn't) and he came back, pulled up a part of the floor again to check my concern and put my worries at ease. The Quality was very good, (B = Good). The reason I did not put (A = Excellent) was only because the way the floor was put back down was a little messy but they did some extra work which we really appreciate. I would have given it an A- or B+ if I could. Overall, we do not regret hiring Scott and we would hire him again if we have a similar job. We do recommend him.

Arrive at location to defrost a frozen water line and demanded payment in full from tenants before doing work or examining the problem. Very bad attitude. I did not use their service and would not recommend them to anyone.

The work was good. The city gave us a violation due to this pipe and after they fixed it the city said it was okay. The only negative was the price, they charged $450 for about 30 minutes of work.

Work was excellent. Would recommend them.

Not the greatest contractor experience but it got done quickly

He was amazingly helpful and diligent. He took great care to examine my very complicated problem and get the right information from DEP. I have not had the work done yet, but will absolutely use him and feel that is smart, knowledgable and trustworthy.

This was a big job that involved getting permits, tearing up the street, and blasting a hole for the pipe to go underground from the water main into our basement. They had to cover up the basement with plastic because dirt was blown into the house from digging the hole. But it went well - they did a good job, got all the permitting, and patched things up nicely afterwards.

I bought a new house without a water meter. He was able to advise me on what was needed by the DEP to ensure that I got a refund. He did the job and submitted all the relevant paperwork. Excellent advice and service. Very knowledgeable. No complaints whatsoever. Will use him again!

Scott was very prompt to respond from the get go. He gave me an initial quote over the phone. He then came by to take a look at what needed to be done and confirmed the price for the work. He continued to be very responsive as we went back and forth. When we finally nailed down a date that worked for me for the work would be done, I told Scott that I needed his guys to get to my house by a certain time because I had an event at my kids' school. Scott showed up himself (and early!) so that I could make my event on time - that was going above and beyond!. They did the work within the timeframe that was quoted. The guys cleaned up after themselves and everything looks great so far! I will definitely use Main Man Water Works & Sewer Service if I ever have a need again and will be sharing referrals to all of my Brooklyn friends!!!

they were so much cheaper then the company who fixed it in 1996( they wanted 6,000.00).......thank you .........i'm glad I joined and will use your service again when needed....

Scott and 2 workmen showed up at 8:30am promptly and were finished by 2 pm. They did a better job than expected! He was able to put our washing machine drain pipe into the ceiling below so that the pipe on our roof could be removed by our roofer. I would recommend Scott and Main Man Water Works highly!

Two workers were supervised by the owner. They were neat and worked quickly. The men did their best to make the cement edges straight. The cement is not as straight as I would have liked it. The job was done in one day, with a two-day drying time before the owner returned to put the steel plate over the pit. All rubbish was removed on the same day work was done. The owner and workmen were pleasant and professional.

Scott came to the house, gave me a written estimate. He offered all information before I even asked. Quality of materials, 10 year warranty, and explained everything that needed to be done and how. He and his crew arrived on time and finished exactly when he said they would. They were all very professional and courteous. They made every effort to protect our garden plants when they had to dig up the garden to go under the front of the house. They were careful to keep things as neat as possible and were fastidious in cleaning up everything when they were done. I strongly recommend Scott and his company and would definitely use them again.

They were great but expensive. I would use them again. They were quick, they were thorough, and they fixed the problem promptly.

The company representative showed up on time to provide me with the initial estimate, and answered all my questions thoroughly, and courteously. The workers did show up a little later than promised, which provided me with some anxious moments, but once they arrived, they worked efficiently, and completed the job of installing the water line. I would have given them an "A", but they took several days longer than promised to repair the holes in the cement on my porch and on the sidewalk. Their contract says they can demand full payment before the holes are filled, but they did not protest when I said I did not want pay the balance until the complete job was finished. I feel that the cement repair work done on my porch could have been done better to make the new patch less conspicuous.

I spent $2850 on that work. I liked the whole thing. They were fine. They were quick and responsive. They were prompt and they did the job. They have not quite finished the job but that is not their fault because the weather needs to be warm for them to finish it. They were very punctual. I was a little frustrated because they called me at 7:30 in the morning and woke me up and told me that they were going to come out that day. Their price was cheaper than another company we had got a quote from.
