Lowe's

They are very professional, quick, fast and clean. It has been a good experience with them. The total price has been $400 with installation. They have quality operation. The salesman I spoke to was very professional. Then two men showed up this morning at 8 o'clock. I don't know about the price because I didn't shop around. So, I think it's a fair price. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

1. The countertops were eventually completed, but only after many phone calls, missed dates, and redos. I had to call them every other day for about three weeks. The saleswoman promised a timeline that they didn't remotely meet, and the management just kept saying she had made a mistake. Part of the countertop had to be reinstalled after the first installation because it moved, and there is still a dark line in one of the seams that we can't get out. 2. The dishwasher installation went fine, but again, was much later than they promised. 3. I got so many stories from Lowe's about the stove that I completely lost track: It will be delivered in a week. They don't make that stove any more, you have to choose a new one. They found a stove just for you, it will be delivered in five weeks. We're right outside your door, but we can't carry it up the stairs. It rivaled Ionesco for absurdity. 4. Their tile selection is extremely spotty. They have bull-nose pieces for some tiles, but not for others. Sometimes they ONLY have bull-nose pieces. The displays are great, but try finding the tiles from the displays on the shelves -- they have maybe a quarter of them in stock, if that. In the store it is often nearly impossible to find help. We once waited a half an hour (no exaggeration) for someone to come and cut a piece of plywood for us. They are relatively inexpensive, which is why I would go back, but I would steel myself for another difficult experience first. One positive note -- on my first visit there I mentioned to a number of people that there were no shopping carts available. When you're buying a lot of heavy things, it's really impossible to carry it all by hand -- you HAVE to have a shopping cart. On my second visit, lo and behold, there was a bevy of brand new shopping carts in the parking lot!

I liked the quality of the installation done by the workers from Lowe’s Company. They did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

They were reasonably priced. It was a good experience and I will use their services in the future, too.

My salesperson, Chris, was very good. It was delivered on time by two wonderful guys who set it up quickly and professionaly. All in all it was a wonderful experience. The salesperson was able to tell us all the ins and outs of the refrigerator. We did not plan on making a purchase that day and we walked out having bought one. He knew every single question that a woman would ask about a refrigerator and knew the answers.

Salesman stated the fence was cedar; it wasn't. It was spruce painted to look like Cedar. The installation company is a sub-contractor. They failed to show up the first day. Came the second day, promised to finish on the following Monday. Never came on Monday and were unreachable. Nobody at Lowe's was any help. They oversold me materials, but stated they would pick up unused materials and refund the cost. To date they have sent the wrong vehicle to pick up the extra fence posts because their bureaucracy is so incompetent. Overall the customer service was abysmal.

I am extremely happy and I am a pain in the neck customer. I've been dealing with Ronald. He is very hands on and did his best to get me the best price. I am disabled so I had a lot of questions about the product. He thought this would be the best product for me. He kept in contact with me constantly to keep me updated. He was very responsive. I feel like I got the best of both worlds. Everything is good so far.

Kitchen specialist Alicia Mead at Lowe's was extremely professional and helpful. We came prepared with a blueprint of our kitchen with accurate dimensions, but she helped us with selecting the wood and finish for the cabinets, and color and material for the countertops. She was an expert at using the design software on her computer to reproduce our kitchen's layout, and went the extra mile to get us discounts where they were available. Having Lowe's do all the installation work is a good bet; even though they use local contractors for the delivery and installation, it's all coordinated through their Installation Department. So even though I took down all the names and numbers of the installation people, and I was able to contact them directly to set up delivery and install dates, if there was a problem, I could always call Lowe's Installation department and they would contact these companies. Installation was professionally done, the components were delivered in great shape and the workers cleaned up after themselves pretty well. I was pleasantly suprised, and would recommend Lowe's (and Alicia) to anyone who's re-doing their kitchen. Important note: Especially if you live in an old building, try to make sure your electrical and plumbing infrastructure can accommodate the changes before starting the project.

We had a lot of problems. The upstairs windows would not stay in a locked position. They had to replace all of them. The window in the living room was the wrong size. The windows were left on the front porch when we weren't there and they broke. It took months and months to get this resolved.

Total disaster. Sales clerk at the store was incompetent, multiple mistakes in entering the order; delay of weeks trying to get estimate; gave the contractor the wrong days to come; delivered the materials on a different day than scheduled. I missed 2 days of work waiting fruitlessly for people to show up as well as many hours going back to the store trying to get them to sort out their errors. Actual installers (from New Jersey) only come to Brooklyn one day a week, they say. They were very efficient and professional. Worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. I cringe when I drive by Lowe's now. I don't even think about going inside the store any more.

Having no car, I arranged for the delivery service ($75.00 - Free with promotional rebate). Delivery arrived on time but the truck double parked way up the street. The two teenage helpers brought the materials to my stoop- the smaller items in a large bin. Checking the contents felt the same pressure as the teens to make it quick because of the barking coming out of the cab of the truck. Noted several items were missing (5 Gal. bucket of paint etc.) and they went back to the truck and found the items I noted. Upon unpacking they left, I discovered there were other items missing. To my surprise, I was called later to confirm my delivery and told the caller the items not delivered and said they would look into it. I did receive a follow up message to call the store, which I have tried to do 5 times without success in reaching a manager or anyone who could help me after multiple transfers and a good deal of time on hold. Still have not heard back.

Delivery problems caused me to have to get items from doorman and lug long heavy blinds by myself to my apartment (on 4 of 5 deliveries). Delivery was never on day promised--wasted time waiting. Lowe's customer service, managers and even the blinds company (Leveler) were of no help whatsoever as to delivery and really added to the snafus. The blinds are now installed but one had to be replaced and reordered, and 2 valances have already popped out. If ordering from a retailer like Lowe's or Home Depot, the blinds are first delivered (probably in separate shipments) to the customer and then, an appointment is made for installation. With a private installer/vendor, they get/make the blinds and bring them altogether on the day of installation. No separate days of waiting for deliveries and no extra day for installation.

Our dishwasher works fine. We got a better deal at Lowe's than what other local stores were offering. The man who helped us showed us different dishwashers and was very good to us. We think highly of Lowe's.

They did a good job helping us when we were there. They were not pushy and were able to answer our questions. They have the best prices around in my eyes. They were able to deliver it as well and we were pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was impressed with Lowe's because the salesmen I dealt with printed out items and options for me from online. He reviewed what my choices were with me. He took his time and he did not rush me. He guided me through the entire process. I was very pleased with my experience with Lowe's.

They were very nice and did a fine job.

They have the best prices and they delivered the units free of charge. The delivery was a big plus for me.

THIS COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB AND NOW THERE IS NO COLD AIR COMING IN THE HOUSE THROUGH THE DOORS. THE STAFF DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF MAKING SURE THEY DID NOT TEAR UP THE WALLS OR FRAMING AROUND THE DOOR.

YOU PICK OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO REPLACE THINGS WITH AND THEY SEND SOMEONE OUT TO DO THE WORK, THEY ARE GOOD AND CLEAN, AND THE CLEAN PART IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME, I DON'T LIKE A MESS LEFT WHEN WORKERS LEAVE FOR THE DAY.

I HAD ORDERED A SELF-CLOSING STORM DOOR IN PREPARATION FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND WHEN IT FINALLY ARRIVED, IT WAS DAMAGED. I DO APPRECIATE THE ATTITUDE OF THE MAN AT LOWES BUT FIXING THE PROBLEM IS BEYOND HIS CONTROL.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IN LOWE'S, ALTHOUGH THE WORKMANSHIP WAS PRETTY GOOD. THEY CHARGED ME EXTRA FOR MEASURING THE DOORWAY. THEN THEY LOST MY ORDER AND HAD TO DELAY THE INSTALLATION.

LOWES DID A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE ON TIME WHEN THEY CAME AND GOT THE JOB DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE PEOPLE. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. THE EMPLOYEES WALKED ME THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROGRAM. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE PRODUCT.

I WAS FAIRLY HAPPY WITH THE DOOR INSTALLED BY LOWE'S AND IT WORKS WELL WHEN I OPEN AND CLOSE IT. I DID NOT FEEL THAT I HAD TO WAIT AN UNACCEPTABLE AMOUNT OF TIME TO HAVE THE DOOR INSTALLED.

I THOUGHT THE PEOPLE AT LOWES WERE VERY HELPFUL, I BOUGHT A GARAGE DOOR OPENER. THEY HAD SOMEONE COME OUT TO INSTALL IT, AND THEY ALSO HAD TO REALIGN THE DOOR SO IT WOULD OPEN AND CLOSE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH ALL OF THE WORK THEY DID.
