We have been using his services for about twenty years. The old man is now retired and his son in law took over. It is a family run business and the same person always answers the phone. They are reliable and are good plumbers who know what they are doing.

He is always willing to look at other points of worry to see if it needs work or not. He gives good advice and tips to keep things running smoothly. The company he works for is very good about getting someone out right away. I like when I don't have to wait around all day for someone to show up. He shows up right when he says he is going to.

He came and checked out the project, told me what it would entail and when he could do it. Joey and another guy came at the specified time and day, and installed a sink, faucet, new pipes, and two outdoor spigots. Everything works and looks great.

I used John for years for plumbing work at two residences. He installed a stackable washer/gas dryer in first Apt and we used him when we renovated our bathroom. He had to coordinate with a difficult contractor we had picked out. He came on-time, was always polite and explained work thoroughly. In our new home, things were a bit rougher going (last 5 years). He installed our washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, and has done some repairs on old toilets etc. But he/they stood me up a several times for appointments, enough that I have looked elsewhere for a plumber and am using another firm. When he/they did show, the same good quality of work was done as in the past. I do not understand the lack of communication when he/they do not show, I find that inexcusable as a pattern. HOWEVER I am considering trying him again on a big job coming up, if he will come for an estimate, because I know I can rely on his work and I like him.

John was responsive, prompt and professional. He assessed the problem and fixed it right away and left the area clean when finished. Though the price was a bit high, I would hire him again in a minute.

I left a message on their answering machine and they never called me back. It was right before Thanksgiving so I thought that they might be busy. I did say that it was not an emergency, but it is over 2 weeks now and I have not heard from them.

I've used him for 25 years. He always comes when he says he will. That is very important. You can always depend on the work being done properly.

John came the same day I called and immediately began working on fixing the flooding from my radiator. He was courteous and explained the problems that I was having and offered a recommendation for further work. I would definitely call him again.

They had to dig a hole in the ceiling, sent a man into the wall and replace pipes.

I have used them for a long time now and feel that they can really be trusted to get the job done right the first time. They are very punctual and the prices they charge are right around what they should be. I recommend them highly.

We love our plumber to be quite honest. The business is great. They never rip you off. They do great work and we only have the nicest of things to say about them.

It went very smoothly. We made an appointment for 1pm on a Friday. They showed up at 2pm but called to tell me ETA. The work took about an hour, and they told me the price before-hand. The plumber they sent was personable and helpful and cleaned up after himself.

When I didn't hear back after a couple of days, I called again to see if Mr. Hlad was just busy or wasn't interested in the job. I understand that venting a ceramics kiln is an unusual request. The very nice, professional receptionist said that she would remind Mr. Hlad to call me. This company came highly recommended and I was sorry that I didn't get a response.

We are still looking for a contractor and plumber to repair our shower as, while John Hlad was extremely satisfactory in the past, we could not get coordinated with the contractor he wanted to use. The contractor was so inconsistent in his estimates and appearances that we are still looking.

They were very responsive when I called. to make the appointment. On the day of the appointment, the plumber was late, but he made sure to call to let me know. The work was performed professionally and neatly and I think the price was quite fair. It was Mr. Hlad's suggestion to replace all of the old shut off valves with new, easy to turn ones. I was very happy with his suggestion and with the quality of his work.

Plumber (w/ assistant) arrived during the hours agreed upon. After inspecting the toilet, Mr. Hlad explained that the repair would be more costly than the originally quoted price of $125 because the problem would require the tank's removal and the entire flushing mechanism replaced. The job was completed in about 30-45 minutes. The work was done neatly, and the service was professional and polite.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS COMPANIES WORK. I WAS SO ANNOYED BY THE CONTINUOUS RUNNING OF MY TOILET AND AFTER IT WAS FIXED I WAS RELIEVED. THEY EVEN FIXED IT FAST.

I HAVE USED HLAD'S SERVICE FOR ALL OF MY PLUMBING NEEDS FOR YEARS, AND HAVE NEVER CONSIDERED USING ANY OTHER PLUMBER. I THINK THAT HIS EXCELLENT WORK SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

I THINK THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE WHEN YOU CALL AND ANSWER QUESTIONS. ALSO THEY WERE VERY NEAT, THEY CLEANED UP AFTER PUTTING IN MY DISHWASHER AND THEY GOT IT PUT IN RIGHT AND QUICKLY.

THE SERVICE HE PROVIDED WAS GOOD. THE PLUMBER WAS NEAT, CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. IT DID NOT TAKE HIM A LONG TIME TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRICE.

THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY AND THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB FOR ME. I HAD SOME FLOODING IN THE BASEMENT AND THEY CAME RIGHT OUT AND INSTALLED THE SUMP PUMP. THE WORK IS VERY GOOD.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY ARE RESPONSIVE, FRIENDLY AND COMMUNICATE WELL. THEY ARE ABLE TO DO A WIDE VARIETY OF WORK. SOMETIMES THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT THE WORK IS HIGH QUALTIY.
