JMC CONTRACTING

After installing faulty highhat lights in my mothers basement, Rick Rabeeno offered to replace them after being paid in full. He came to replace the lights but left 6 of them hanging out of the ceiling because he didn't have enough to finish the job. He also replaced the warm lighting with cool bulbs. I have been trying to make an appointment with him to come finish the highhats and replace the cool bulbs with warm bulbs and he has cancelled twice. He prioritizes other jobs over this one because he has been paid in full. The unprofessional manner in which his office ignores my phone calls and text messages is unbelievable. He has taken advantage of my Mother whom is a widow by not finishing this job. There are multiple different wires and differant color bulbs hanging from my ceiling. Not to mention that a few of them blink on and off at will. I would not be surprised if there is a fire hazard due to bad wiring. This all started when he was hired a few years ago to rebuild this house after it burned down to the ground from a electrical fire. I cannot and will not recommend this business for any job and I warn any person looking to hire this contractor.

Completely gutted a 1958 bathroom and remodeled. JMC did a super job for us. John MacDougall came to discuss our bathroom situation with us, so that he had an understanding of what we wanted. We went to the JMC showroom, and with their help, picked out the fixtures, color, tile, cabinets, etc. JMC handled everything from the building permit information, to ordering and delivering the materials. Once we agreed to a starting date, the JMC team, arrived right on schedule. Every morning we received a call telling us who would be coming. Every worker who came into our home was professional, courteous, on time and pleasant to work with. At the end of each day, all waste material was removed and the work area was left clean. Jack, the project manager, came by regularly to see that we were pleased and that the work was going well. Gyula, the team member who spent the most time on our project is a very talented craftsman. His accuracy and attention to detail was much appreciated. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend JMC to our friends and neighbors.

Everything went beautifully. Michael was fantastic. He even helped with a situation with our neighbor when a water main pipe burst and effected our next door neighbor. They literally almost had to rebuild the house from the inside out. He worked with us price-wise and did the job quickly and painlessly. He sincerely cares about his work, explained the process to us, and got everything done timely. Since then we had another pipe burst and Michael came back immediately. He wiped away decades of mold and the house tested clean after. I would use them again in a second - although I'm hoping the situation never arises again. They are a great company to work with, and extremely nice and professional as well.
