 + 0 moreThe carpet needed repeated vacuuming to clean it ( not simple 'dust' that he said was normal) and the cut is right down to the warp.
Description of Work: Buyer Beware: With the good reviews, I didn't think I needed to go over the carpet to show that it was in perfect condition when it was picked up. I arranged to have the carpet cleaned and purchased new padding. When the Oriental rug was returned ( full of lint and hair) the very edge was cut. Jared insisted that cutting the padding with the carpet on top didn't result in the cut to the edge of the carpet. He insisted that the cut was from being 'rolled up'. The edge itself was not rolled. He advised when I saw this upon delivery that it would be very expensive to 'pick up' and repair. His customer service about this also leaves everything to be desired. I would not trust him with a high quality item.

 + -1 moreThe technician was friendly, thorough, and helpful in cleaning water stains from a sofa and advising as to how to better spot clean stains going forward. The owner was helpful in coordinating the appropriate cleaning, and communicative the morning of the appointment what the technician was running late due to traffic (he arrived shortly thereafter). The treatment eliminated the water stains and cleaned the remainder of the sofa, lasting less than an hour. We will absolutely used this service again.

 + -1 moreI needed to have cat hair removed from my couch, chairs and rug. I had cared for my daughter's cat in my apartment and the cat left behind cat hair when he returned home. My son and grandson would not be able to join us for Thanksgiving dinner in my small apartment as they are allergic to cats. J&L cleaned my couch, chairs and rug. They looked bright and clean and my son and grandson didn't sneeze once.

They were responsive and accommodating before the appointment, on time (actually offered to come early, if we were ready) for the appointment, and did exactly what they promised (and more) within the timeframe they estimated and at the cost we agreed upon. The carpets look and feel great, and they breathed new life into the furniture -- even a stained velvet piece. They're friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.
Description of Work: JL cleaned all of our area rugs plus the sofa with chaise, an armchair and ottoman, dining room chairs, and an upholstered trunk.

 + -1 moreI had a 3 cushion fabric couch from Crate and Barrel. The couch had a pet urine stain and was its first cleaning since it was purchased 2 years ago. My experience from J L was excellent. He called me back after I requested an appointment online in a couple of hours and Anthony arrived for the appointment on time. I was also pleasantly surprised when they gave me an exact time, not a 2 hour window. The cleaning was great. They got a wine stain out and the pet odors. I'm very happy with them and will use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreSean called before he came and arrived on time. Before he entered my apartment, he put booties on over his shoes so as not to track in dirt! Being the neurotic person I am, I was very impressed by that. He did a very thorough cleaning of 3 couches, a sofa chair, and a threw in the foot stool for a very reasonable price. He cleaned all items by himself and was done within 2.5 hours. He had a wealth of information about upholstery care and shared it with me. He was very professional, honest, pleasant and detailed oriented. I will definitely use JL again.

 + -1 moreThere was a slight mix-up in communications regarding appointment times, but other than that the carpets were thoroughly cleaned with non-toxic, effective cleaners. They look great. It took about five hours for the carpets to dry and they left little booties for us to put on over our shoes so that we could still walk on the carpets while they dried. They did need access to hot water and a three-prong electrical outlet which could have been problematic for us, because we're an old building, but turned out o.k. We will definately use their service again. The customer service is great. The carpets look great and the price was reasonable.

Then they called to say they were on their way and they actually showed up on time (I have had many other service providers do work for me and this rarely happens). They were extremely neat and careful. They did an outstanding job, I am sorry that they only do carpet and upholstery cleaning. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them highly. Outstanding service.
