Ishy's State To State Moving

The sales rep was a nice lady. Then there was a man who was extremely rude who clearly only wanted our money. They had us and we had to pay double what we agreed. Our stuff was supposed to be here within 7- 10 days. After two weeks I finally called them and they said 20 days. I finally called them again and they said please be patient. I called the driver and he told me had nothing to do with the delivery meaning that they had unloaded our stuff and put it in another truck. Transloading like that is not supposed to happen. We just moved in to our apartment and we're all sleeping on the floor waiting on our things to arrive. This company also has complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

When the truck arrived (it was a rental, which was alarming); they loaded aproximately 1/2 for the boxes & said that there were more items than on the quote and it would be more money. They said they would take everything off, but there would be a cancellation fee. After a few heated conversations with the main office-Jennifer, in particular who was extremely rude-she insisted that we told her that the unit was only half full and said the price was based on that, we agreed to continue. BIG MISTAKE! After numerous calls to ISHY"S, resulting in numerous excuses: our shipmant was delivered..... , 40 DAYS after being loaded and brought to destination unknown--damaged & incomplete.....items re-packed ( who knows how many people rifled through them), plastic containers with their tops cracked, the finish peeled off furniture and worst of all, items missing - 2 Schwinn Bicycles, an excercise bike and our locked safe!!!!! DO NOT EVER EVER EVER call this company. The safe and bicycles finally arrived - weeks after the first truck delivered damaged and broken property......... The owner has promised some kind of reimbursement...we are still waiting .............................................

My sister needed a moving company and they were the only ones available. The receptionist was rude, and changed the date of the move with out notice. They then said the shipment would come in 7 days. It has been 2 weeks and nothing. I called and they said they had no idea where the stuff was and I had to call the driver. I got the name of the driver and called him. He said that they have to make rest stops every 5 hours. He said that they will be here this weekend or the following week, this will make it 4 wks. Come on, New York is only 12 hours away. I will definitely complain to the BBB. Do not use this moving company!!!!
