The team was great. The overall completion took about 4 days, however it was smoothly finished. They came to work consecutively and that's what I liked the most, because I didn't need to wait. The tenants made a few compliments, so I am glad I hired Innovation. The price was in my budget as well.

This job was completed recently. It has been almost one week since they finished the job. Now it feels refreshed because I get to sit on my porch and it feels new. Great team to work with. I wasn’t present during the time they were working, however Ekram was able to keep up with the communication of what was going on and give an update of the expected time for the job to be completed. I would say the price was a little to expensive for my budget but I am happy that I choose Innovation to complete this job because their quality is phenomenal.

Innovation has quality work. They scheduled to come look at the project. And a few days later I received my estimate. As, I was shopping around looking for the right company for my project. I felt in my gut that Innovation was the one. I couldn’t be happier that I followed my gut instinct. The workers were friendly and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a construction company to call Ekram. My house now looks like a brand new house!!

Our initial meeting went well. I asked many questions and Ekram was patient in answering them. I was able to tell that he is knowledgeable with the work he does in Brownstone. After getting the written estimate, I thought the price was reasonable so I took the offer and we started the project. They provided the brownstone samples after the scratch coat. This project took a while to complete however, the workers were prompt and the debris was always clean after the day's job.

The quote was too high so we didn't go with them. They were very nice and very polite. They were willing to help.

The job had to be done when the weather was going to be dry, so it was backed up a bit beyond anyone's control. Once we could lock in a date, he was on-time and had the job completed as stated per schedule and spec's.

I called Emerit, and as promised in the phone call, he arrived at our house within an hour. He inspected the damage as thoroughly as possible, gave us a verbal estimate, and then sent the contract later that evening. We would have given him the job, but we received a very good reference on another company, that provided a significantly lower price.

Exceeded our expectations. Quality of the workmanship is extraordinary and the house now stands out in a good way.We couldn'tbe happier and are asking the gang to look at our roof - assuming they're competitive is really see no reason not to use them given our outstanding experienxe

I scheduled an estimate with Innovation for some masonry work. They never showed up. Never returned my voice mail and never followed up. When I originally called them to schedule they seemed less than professional as well. Will not consider them for future work. Grade = F.

Came to my house same day I called. Gave me a verbal estimate, and by that evening had a written estimate to my e-mail. This was on Mar. 28 2015. Called Ekram back on Mar. 30, 2015 and that evening he came over with a contract at which time I gave him a deposit. We agreed to a start date of April 3, 2015. On that date Ekram called before coming over. He came with two other men who where perfect gentlemen. These men where part of his full time crew ( Ekram does not hire people off the street) These men worked hard all day doing patch work and painting. The work they did was as if it was their own house, excellent! They came back April 4, 2015 and finished the first coat. On April 5 2015 back again to put on a second coat. (How many companies do that) The work was perfect after the first coat but the contract stated two coats. When they finished everything was cleaned up and Ekram asked if I was satisfied with the job. Needless to say I was more than satisfied and it was at that point the balance was given to Ekram. I had other estimates for the job that where slightly lower but I stuck with a Angie List company. I'm glad I did and would definitely hire Ekram and his srew again.

Let's start off with this is my third time hiring Innovation Construction Company. The first time was in 2012 when I hired them to stucco and waterproof a house extension along with waterproofing a side and back wall of my building. They also painted the fire escape, cornice, all the outside doors and windows and front gate. An excellent job was done and so I called them back in 2013. In 2013 I had them completely upgrade my yard and patio after Hurricane Sandy hit. They tore up all the old cement and replaced with new cement and topped off with bluestone slabs and also created a bluestone walkway and a secondary smaller patio in the garden. An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL job!!! I also had them replace the fences around the yard and garden with pressure treated wood fencing. And finally they replaced the Brownstone on the front stoop and basement wall. They were kind enough to get the Landmarks Permit that was required to do the job. And that brings me to now, 2015, and the current project. As mentioned they did a magnificent job on the bathroom walls and ceiling. They replaced all the old tile with new as well as laying down a new floor. The plumbing needed upgrading and they addressed it. They installed the new tub, toilet, sink and medicine cabinet. They even installed three shelves in the tub/shower area. I think (and I mentioned it to them) that Donald Trump would be envious of the job they did here! They also prepared the kitchen walls for the new cabinets that will be installed shorty. It all came out so beautiful that I had them also replace two walls in the living room. One small bedroom had on old tin ceiling that had probably been installed in the 'roaring twenties' and was need of a major overhaul. I had them replace it with a new Sheetrock one. They are on the last phase of plastering and will start painting in a day or so. The job is coming out better than expected. They should be done very soon. A few words on their work ethic would be that they are dependable, skilled, well mannered, clean, very reasonable, and are dedicated to the job until it is completed. I plan on having them back shorty to do my other two bathrooms, hallway, and stucco the outside of my building. I would recommend Innovation Construction Company for any project.

Ekram and his crew were excellent. He was always quick to get back to us with very competitive quotes, showed up on time and did meticulous work on our beautiful but very weather damaged original stoop on our 1910 Limestone Brick townhouse. They did a terrific job at matching the color and texture of the final skim coat to the original limestone details on the house, restored a decorative, floral indentation perfectly and managed to work around the real limestone steps when other vendors said it could not be done. Ekram showed up regularly to check on the quality of work. Given that they not only renovated our stoop but also painted our cornice, pointed bricks and did some other bits and pieces of work, their price was extremely fair. There was another contractor working on a stoop next door whose work did not come up to the quality we received. We recommend Innovation Construction and Ekram without reservation.

However, I did not grade an A because one of the owners in our building had personality issues with the main worker, Anthony.

For starters, Ekram worked around our schedules to meet and talk about the work we needed done. He provided us with a written estimate and copies of his insurance documents. Once we agreed to have them do the work, Ekram brought by the contract and we went over the work to be done together. We agreed on a half payment before and half payment after completion schedule which was fine with us (personal check not cash, which we liked as well). A date and time for the work to begin and end was set as well. Ekram and his crew showed up on the scheduled start date ON TIME and began their work. His crew was extremely professional and courteous throughout the process. The work was completed on time and we were very happy with the results. Although this was a small job compared to others, Ekram and his crew performed as if it were a $100k job. We have other work that we will need done in the near future and Innovation Construction Co will be the first ones we call. Thanks again Ekram.....

The process went very well. A full façade restoration was recommended. However, I was unable to fund a complete restoration at this time. Therefore, I requested a repair and painting. The Contractor explained what he would be doing and the materials that would be used. The work started at the agreed time and completed successfully. The workers arrived on time, performed their tasks professionally, were respectful and, cleaned the work area at the end of each day. I am pleased with the job and feel that the price was fair and work excellent. After the job was completed and the Contractor was paid, I thought I had a issue with a piece of molding on the cornice. I called Ekram and he came over immediately to take a look at the situation. It turned out to be a non issue but, I'm very pleased he took the time to come over quickly and was prepared to take care of the problem if there was one. The entire experience was a good one and I would use Innovation Construction Company again. I also recommend this company to others needing this work.

Provided a stucco job estimate. Was very responsive and punctual. The only reason I went with another contractor was his price for the job. It came in second best although, I have to say he did offer to build the window moldings from scratch rather than use styrofoam therefore, the price difference may have been justified. If i manage to come to an agreement, I intend to use this contractor for two other jobs.

Contacted Ekram to receive a quote on some re-pointing & concrete work along with repairing my chimney. Although there bid was not one of the lowest, I decided to move forward as I was impressed by the thoroughness and feedback on the scope of work that would be performed. Ekram and I went back and forth with many e-mails and his responsiveness was well thought. The job did get to a late start as I had to go out of town and Ekram had multiple projects going on but I appreciated his responsiveness to initiating the project as soon as he could do so. Each work day went well, my pet-peeve was tidiness which I exemplified to Ekram and I appreciated him holding up his end of the promise. I would un-doubtfully contact them in the near future.

We did not go with Innovation in the end but they were a high second choice. We decided to go with someone closer to Windsor Terrace/Park Slope area in hope of more accountability and standard of local expectation.

I called Innovation and left a message indicating that I was interested in getting my fire escape painted. Shortly afterwards that same day, Ekram returned my call, and we discussed the project in detail, including possible start dates. The price for the job that he proposed seemed fair, so he promised to email me a contract. The contract arrived the very next day. The only hitch to the job was that we both neglected to take into account a big event in the area that caused traffic jams on the day the job was to start. Ekram called that morning to say his crew wouldn't be able to make it because of road closures. I was disappointed by the delay, but really appreciated Ekram's responsiveness and timely call. Ekram rescheduled to start the job the next day. The following day the painters arrived on time. Ditto for the next day, the second day of the two-day job. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and were very professional and pleasant. At the end of each day, they removed the drop cloths and did a thorough cleanup. There were no paint drips and paint chips to be found anywhere. And now the fire escape looks fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend Innovation Construction, Co. In addition to the professionalism of the crew and the quality of the work they did, I have to hand it to Ekram for being so accessible and for his follow-through.

Ekram did a good job supervising the project. He was also extremely flexible and willing to work with us in terms of the budget and the look that we want. We made several major changes along the way but they candidly discussed with us what can be done at the minimum price.

They are very professional. Their work is excellent and their price is reasonable. They know what they are talking about and they get it done.

It was an immense experience working with the contractor and his crew. They were delight to work with, from start to finish. Very professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. The contractor was able to match the color of the paint I'd chosen to his preferred brand. The job went according to schedule, budget was reasonable, and the work was top quality. The labor was done well and everything was cleaned up afterwards. After, replacing the complete roof, there is no leaks. And my kitchen and bathroom now looks beautiful and feels cozy. The brick stoop also looks smooth and clean. The concrete walkway is also fixed and now there are no bumps or cracks. I would recommend Innovation Construction to anyone who is looking for quality work, done on time.

I found Innovation through my community?s local newspaper. Received great reviews. Renovation included new brick steps along with a brick porch, they were consistent with the design pattern I wanted in the porch. My roof was leaking, I had them install a new roof. The rear side of my garage needed to be renovated, it was demolished and re-built, and replaced with new dry walls and electrical work was completed. New driveway was created with concrete. They were efficient and responsible. A reputable company in the neighborhood.
