Innovation Construction workers do excellent work! Just moved to NY and wanted my place to POP. They painted my entire apartment, they are friendly and professional. The prices are affordable. Once the crew started things moved quickly. Overall, I would use them again and recommend them.

Ekram was recommended to us as an expert exterior stucco repairman & his work exceeded our expectations! We swapped out/replaced multiple windows and doors on a 1940s home, and it was extremely difficult to find anyone who was able to match this specific stucco style. It was clear Ekram knew what he was doing when he came to the property for a quote and he carefully inspected each spot where the repairs were needed. He always communicated his schedule throughout the project, and his team always left the worksite clean and organized. Anytime we stopped by the site Ekram was always there working with his team (we loved that he didn't take the job & then contract it out). I would absolutely call Innovation for anything else we have down the line!

Super pros! Very responsive to texts. They presented a clear plan to redo our busted-up steps, filed the landmark paperwork, and proceeded with courteous work. They did not rush and we were good with that. I had a friend whose building rushed their stoop-building and then they had to redo it, so we let these guys take their time and really do each phase right, letting the masonry cure and set. We’re so happy with the result!

Ekram and his staff were very professional and efficient. I had to change the scheduling several times for a roof repair but they accommodated my schedule every time. They fixed the leakages on my roof within the required time frame and did an excellent job as they did not have to come back a second time like my previous roofer had to. My roof looks as good as new and is no longer leaking during heavy storms.

Ekram and his crew worked diligently and accommodated our schedules very flexibly to get the job done. He provided an accurate estimate and validated his legitimacy upfront. He did the work on my chimney and front/back door for about $7.5k within a weeks time. Super diligent, I would recommend him for anyone looking for home repair or improvement. The best part was how communicative they were, super transparent and competitively afforadble compared to other contractors. Thanks again team!

I'm incredibly disappointed in the quality of work. This is a company that advertises itself as specializing in historic home repairs, which is one of the reasons I chose them over another contractor. If this weren't Angie's List, I would swear the positive reviews here were scams. The scope of the job was to fill in cracks and repair damage to stucco, apply waterproofing and to repoint my front and back steps. It took about four weeks to complete. My brand new gutters and downspouts are now smeared with waterproofing - they did not remove the downspouts to fill in the cracks underneath before waterproofing and, on top of that, they slopped waterproofing around behind the downspout instead of putting a thin piece of cardboard between the gutter and the wall to protect the metal from paint. When I asked if they could remove the paint, the contractor shrugged and said it was only noticeable if you were looking for a problem and paint remover would only make it look worse. The repointing of the stairs is embarrassing. The mortar was slopped in and not pointed neatly. The contractor blamed it on bigger spaces between the brick than they were used to (my house was built pre-1940's). At my insistence, they tried to clean it up a bit, but I'm still very angry about the result. I would never hire this company again. If this type of work were not their specialty, I would have preferred they shared that upfront.

Top notch service at Innovation Construction. Ekram was a great consultant and guided me through the process of selection and ordering with ease. We ordered pre-fab brownstone and it was a great value for our mini-remodel of the bathroom. They kept a tight timeline, were all very professional and worked hard to keep our countertops in one piece rather than adding seems. I can't say enough about how great our experience was.

I was very apprehensive to let anyone into my kitchen, because I knew the new counters had to be perfect. This stonework company was my best bet - and hiring them was a decision I would definitely make again. I love my new kitchen, and everything about Innovation's work matches the plan to a T. I couldn't be happier with their craftsmanship. They worked fast and efficiently. My expectations were not just met, they were exceeded.

I needed to build a sandstone wall in my backyard to replace a dilapidated wood fence that had blown over in the last storm. I'm pretty careful when hiring a contractor, so I had 6 masonry companies come out to give me a quote. From the start, I really liked Ekram. He was honest and direct. He talked with us for over an hour and answered all our questions (and I had a lot!). His quote was also very competitive and the pictures of his previous jobs were impressive. Throughout the whole process the Innovation crew were polite and courteous, showed up when they were supposed to, worked hard all day, and then cleaned up after themselves. He also handled all the permits and city inspections which was a relief. We are extremely happy with the final product. Also thinking it would be an easy fix, I had asked if he could fix a broken block on my existing block wall (it was a different color and had scores on it so completely different from the block he was using for the new wall). Well it turned out it was a really hard block to find and Ekram had to go all over to find it. Most would have just given up as I had already paid him in full for the job, but not Ekram. He is a man of his word. He had to drive all over but he found that block for me and fixed it beautifully. Not only that, but he also touched up the missing grout on my existing block wall near the broken block as an added bonus just because he's that awesome! He goes above and beyond. I have never had an experience like this with a contractor. I will not hesitate to contact Innovation Construction for any of my future masonry needs.

Work was done in three intervals - breaking old brownstone and placing concrete scratch coat, return to place brownstone coat, rerouting to wash stoop, paint waterproofed basement and railings.

Ekram and his amazing crew at Innovation Construction transformed my front yard from a pile of dirt to a breathtaking scene. Now my home has Big Curb Appeal. More importantly I am ecstatic!!!! Every time I come home a smile and sigh with awe and appreciation for this beautiful retreat which they helped me to create. I had the vision...they guided me away from ideas that were not cost effective and they completely delivered on my vision. I am so glad I am not looking out at a yard full of burned and brown grass after spending a ton of money watering it to try and keep it alive. Thank you Ekram!

I hired these guys to paint out a large living room after the family children decided to draw all over it. A good excuse for a makeover! I wanted a unique textured wall with the highest quality paint and innovation made it happen. I was so pleased with the end results, and I am happy that I found a reliable company in my vicinity.

Innovation Construction did an incredible job painting the whole exterior of my house. Ekram gave me a reasonable quote. His guys came out and were very thorough and took their time with the prep work needed. Amazing attention to detail and stunning outcome. Our Magnolia tree had uprooted our used brick patio with the drainage now aimed at the house foundation. They removed over 500 square feet of concrete and installed a 400 square foot patio all within a week. Our project manager was very perceptive noticing a few other problems too when he inspected. His estimate came quickly, was very fair. His crew arrived two days later and did an AMAZING job matching the existing patio, creating drainage away from the house. Polite, punctual, tidy. Could not ask for more.

We purchased our home partly because of the large back yard for our children to play in. Low and behold, we can never keep the grass green, there are constant weeds, our water bill is always in at least the mid $300 every two months. So we decided to re-do everything and just get pavers. We had some cracked concrete, a step down in the back yard, grass, and near the edge of the property, mulch with trees. We were also re-doing our pool at the same time and I had to postpone starting this project for 2 months. Ekram followed up with me, and answered more questions as they came up. The whole project took 2 weeks. At the end of the day, all the work was done on time, no extra fees were added on, and my experience was positive all the way around. I would highly recommend Innovation Construction.

Slower than planned or promised but otherwise ok

I has an appointment with this company to meet on a Saturday evening. Received a text at the last minute saying they could not make it. Rescheduled to have them come the following Monday morning. Monday morning nobody showed up. I called and texted several times Monday and Tuesday and left messages via their website, but received no response at all. Big waste of my time. Very unprofessional...

Very well. Ekram and co. did a fine job redoing the brownstone on our townhouse in Park Slope. There was some relatively fancy concrete/brownstone work which they were able to reconstruct with skill. Their price was competitive. They were always courteous and cleaned up each day. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Job was completed at the agreed upon price in the agreed upon price range. Ekram and his crew were all great - friendly and professional. And they cleaned up everything, nothing left behind for us to deal with. A year later, I've just hired them for more work to my house!
