Incredibly helpful with a move. The move wasn't a residential one, but rather a business move. This didn't stop them at all. They were super helpful and got the entire move done like it was nothing at all. I feel the quality of work they provided exceeded my expectations. The move was done the same day, before the sun went down. It was quite a large move, but again they did great. Reasonably prices and good service all around.

I got in touch with Highlawn based on a recommendation of a close friend from work. The service was good, they were very friendly and easy to get along with. They moved everything into the truck without any problems. I feel they stacked things in a way to prevent damage which was good. These movers were well experienced and came prepared. I'm happy with hot he move was done by these people. I will be using them again in the future.

I recently hired Highlawn to help with a move I was having done. I feel they were on top of things from the moment we had got started. Frank and the two others worked hard, they moved very heavy things like it was nothing at all. They arrived on schedule when it came to both the pickup and delivery. They were friendly to my family, and took precaution around a few things as well. I'm happy with how the move went.

I recently hired Highlawn Moving for an out of state move. I had a lot of very heavy antique pieces that I was worried about, items that were given to me by my grandparents. They were very careful to not damage these items. Due to the distance involved in the move, they were able to get everything moved within five days. The service was top notch. I'm very happy with what they were able to do.

The service received by Highlawn was on point. They worked hard from sun up till sundown to get our job done. We moved 15 miles from where we are now, but it was a 3 bedroom unit with little packing down on our end. When they came to get evertyhing dropped off, they were mindful of our neighbors when it came to their parking and such. It's been a few days sicne everything was delivered, and I think everything was moved without any problems. All around I would say I was satisfied with the move. Thank you guys

The movers at Highlawn came highly recommended to me by my sister who used them in the past. I feel they were professional and quick with the move. We didn’t move out of state or anywhere too far, the move was maybe 20 miles away. They had to haul furniture up and down a few flights of stairs since we couldn’t reserve the service elevator. The entire move was done in just a handful of hours. I feel they really worked hard and got things done without any issues. David and his team were very professional when it came to our specific move. Very professional and would hire these movers again.

We took advantage of a moving special they had, the service went great. We’ve moved a few times over the past decade, but this was our first time hiring a professional moving service. I feel they were careful with our belongings and were extremely professional. I didn’t know a moving service would have been this easy, otherwise I would have tried it in the past. They really eliminated a lot of stress for us on moving day. I can’t thank these guys enough.

Very sketchy moving company. When they try to sell you the service, they make it sound magical and keep assuring you that you don't need insurance, and that the price is a "flat fee" plus/minus a few boxes is no problem and that's why they quote a flat fee. Even there emailed estimate has the quote has no "hidden fees". I ended up having many problems with their people and service: 1. Foreman helpers smelled of alcohol and one of them used my bathroom for 30 minutes. He ended up throwing toilet paper waste with s**t in a small bin instead of flushing it down the toilet. 2. Foreman ended up charging me for 3 additional medium boxes which I have told would have been in the shipment an extra $110. Also wanted to charge me for a stroller which was part of "bunched" things which were quoted so I had to end up leaving the stroller behind. 3. During the entire process I asked several times if my furniture would remain on the straight truck on which it was loaded. I was assured that it would not be reloaded (for fear of losing boxes, damaging furniture). To no surprise, they reloaded the furniture on an 18-wheeler (full size). I've worked in logistics and you don't send 18-wheelers to residential communities. What if it didn't fit? Well that's where the "hidden fees" come in. Luckily it "just" got by. 4. They told me that two people would arrive to unload. A single person unloaded and I had to help him. 5. There were two missing boxes. They tried to explain that it was just a simple miscount (which it wasn't) but even in the event that it was a simple miscount - that means they were easily able to make up a box count to charge me an extra $110 in additional shipping? In any case, they gave me some weird "claim evaluation" gmail account to email my claim. They made up some "standards" and gave me a settled amount of $60.00 for the two boxes missing. They made this number up out of thin air. It's nowhere near the value of the contained goods, neither is it an acceptable amount for the basic coverage - especially when they charged me $110.00 for 3 boxes. I blame myself for not doing the research before about the company. Even just seeing that they use a simple yahoo email account for their company should have been a signal. I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY THAT IS MORE RESPECTABLE, EVEN IF A BIT PRICIER, IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, STRESS, AND FURNITURE.

Horrible! The cracked my 55 inch flat screen tv and ruined my couches. Damage at least $2500.00. I took pictures and they told my for everything they would give 133.00. I argued for about a month and they we got $1000.00. I told them I need to the money ASAP because I was not be available for sometime ( I was ill). They said they did not have the funds on hand. Two years I went back after them and they stated I would only get 133.00, which did not even the cover the cost of discarding the items. Updated 2/2/2023 New owners reached out. Well they said they were new owners. They offered my "maybe $200". So to recap I have lost way over $5,000 of value if items. They forced me into a settlement of $1000 and never paid it. Now the offer is $200. I would stay far away from this place. New owners seem like the old owners.

Movers followed the police officers request to return all my stuff back to my apartment. No needs to say that all my bags with cloth was ripped off , my dresses and bras was on the street, some furniture broken, missing hardware from my child bed ..she was sleeping on the mattress on the floor and got sick...i took 2 days to move and the company never complete the job..etc. I can continue ... complete disaster..after all i received call from "Manager Mark" with short apologies and he told me that he will process refund..2 days later i start dispute with PayPal..hope i will get my money back but i will never get rid of fear to move again..

They picked up my things from storage. They then increased the price on me from the original estimate, without informing me. I had asked them to make sure to let me know what the cost would be before they loaded the truck. Two days later they called me and told me of the increased price which was from originally $1,450 to $2,180 ($150.00 was to pay driver for cleaning). I told them I didn't have that much money. I paid the $800 down payment up front, and then I was supposed to pay the balance upon delivery. They asked me for the full increased amount before I even got my furniture delivered. And because I don't have that much money, they won't give me my things. Not even the things that were on the original estimate. I agreed for them to give me the items on the original estimate and take the other items back to storage in Georgia, and they agreed. Now, they're not even doing that. They accidentally forwarded their phones to my cell phone. So I answered today thinking it was the moving company with an update on my furniture, when in actuality it was another customer of theirs experiencing the same thing. So now I don't even know what to think. I am left in the dark, my furniture is in limbo, and they have $800 of mine. I even had one of their employees call me, thinking she was calling Highlawn Moving and she was stuck outside trying to get in to work her shift. The employee got in the building and did call me back and she gave me the same story. Each one of them has been very cordial. They act like they want to help me get this resolved, but the bottom line is that everything their willing to do is all for an additional fee. They've now told me that the storage company would not accept my things that we agreed would be returned to storage . I said I would call the storage company to find out why they wouldn't, they then changed their story and didn't want me to call. The supervisor of the moving company said he would have the driver leave my things on the side of the road if I didn't have the extra money for this service, even his employees were very surprised that he said that. The employees even said that he shouldn't have said that and he is not allowed to do that.
