Running water is never a good thing & Anthony's attention to promptly deal with this situation was most appreciated. Nicholas and his crew gave me the timetable for completing the job and they stuck to the schedule. I particularly like the fact that Nicholas who had worked on the original bathroom was assigned to this project. I liked the continuity of service. The ceiling looks great and no further water issues have developed.

Anthony's team has done an excellent job for our large scale condo renovations. When we bought our condo we completely remodeled both bathrooms, the kitchen, as well as redoing the floors. The work including helping navigate the NYC DOB permit process for our second bathroom and advising on how overhaul the plumbing in it since the prior owners had used a macerating waste toilet. In addition to finding great people to bring in for plumbing and electrical they also introduced us to the retailer for our kitchen cabinets & countertops which we absolutely love. Would highly recommend them in the future!

We cannot say enough good things about Guadioso contracting. We used them to replace a couple of our closet doors, install shelving, fix our kitchen baseboards, and reinstall our oven. The whole process went incredibly smoothly. Everyone from the work team to the back office were a joy to work with. We have a small baby and had concerns about the appropriate health protocols, as the work occurred during the coronavirus pandemic. We needn’t have worried; the team always wore their masks and cleaned up after every day of work. Additionally, we appreciated how transparent the team was as the project progressed. They had initially anticipated five days of work, Monday through Friday, and when it appeared as though they would not be done by Friday, they brought in another worker for the last day to ensure that none of the work extended into the weekend. They were also incredibly thorough and made sure all the work was done to not only our specifications but also their own high standards. We will certainly reach out to G again in the future.

Excellent communication and quality results: as an architect I am pretty demanding when it comes to my own home and the Gaudioso team did very good work and were very accommodating of our schedule and requests.

I worked with Nicolas and his team as soon as Covid 19 restrictions on contracting work in NYC had been lifted. I know that they were finishing jobs frozen in April as well as trying to handle the huge volume of requests for quarantine induced new projects; I know this accounts for some/most of the punctuality issues. The thing that I like most with Gaudioso, is that the associates that come into my apartment are always very focused and respectful. There is always ample manpower to get the job done as quickly as possible and they do a great job cleaning up after themselves. I've had my coop for almost 20 years and I finally feel that I have found contractors that I can trust.

We had an outstanding experience with Gaudioso Contracting. Everyone from Anthony to his office manager Allison to Luis his project manager was on top of every phase of the project. Being homeowners, we've had excruciating experiences with contractors in the past but the Gaudioso crew has wiped away those past nightmares. They communicated at every moment we needed them to and were responsive to all our questions and concerns. With all jobs, there are unforeseen hiccups but they pivoted and problem solved like total pros. The job came in on schedule and on budget. We highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting.

This is the best company I've worked with. They are respectful, do a great job, give fair prices and transparent prices on estimates, good clean-up and very tidy, they ensure quality and will adjust things for you within reason of course to your satisfaction as a customer. I've worked with them on MANY projects and they come for big and small jobs. They can do everything as well which I love. The best experience I've had and I am a long time devoted customer and will continue to be!

Started work very quickly. Foreman was great. Tile work was fabulous. Everything looked great in the end. Stuck to the contract pricing. Had to add some additional expenses because I wanted additional work. Did not like the electrician Alfred who took a long time to do his work. Had to visit often to ensure everything was as I wanted. When it wasn't they were quick to change it. The end result was stunning. Nearly everyone who saw the work asked who the contractor was.

Anthony Gaudioso provided us with an accurate estimate of the costs for our work and a realistic work plan. His kept his promise of a dedicated foreman, consistent workforce, daily cleaning, and open and ongoing communications. Everyone was respectful, hard-working and knowledgeable about their task. We were in the midst of our work when we were forced to pause due the COVID19 pandemic, but before the crew stopped, they made sure that everything was as neat as possible and that our areas would be usable. When we were finally able to restart, the crew came back wearing masks, keeping their distance, supplied with necessary sanitizers and the like. They worked with us to move our work forward as quickly as possible. Our work included gut renovation of two bathrooms, painting of several areas, scraped floors an exterior fence and more. Everything came out simply beautiful and truly exceeded my expectations. Any issues, which were few, were promptly addressed and resolved. Gaudioso’s team wants to be sure that you are happy and they take great pride in their work product. After hearing the horror stories of others, I braced myself for the same. How wonderful to work with such a talented, dedicated and amazing team of professionals. I had a great experience with Gaudioso Contracting. First of all, it can be hard to find a contractor to do small construction jobs. I had a bad experience with a previous contractor so I needed a lot of hand holding. Anthony Gaudioso and Allison, his office manager, were great people to work with. They answered my many questions and were very patient and helpful. I was also very pleased with the job itself. Luis, the project manager, was very knowledgeable and communicated with me throughout the project. Best of all, Luis and his crew did a great job creating my storage space, patching and painting. They finished the job on time and all went smoothly. They also came in on budget. The crew also did a great job cleaning up after everything was completed.

We engaged Gaudioso Construction to perform full-scale gut renovation of the first floor and kitchen remodel at our Forest Hills home. We could not have been happier with the quality of their workmanship and are confident in recommending Gaudioso for the most complicated projects. Gaudioso’s team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tilers, sheetrockers, and painters were all skilled and quite prideful of their craft. Gaudioso’s guys were not your typical get in and get out, cut corners at every turn kind of workers. They all worked methodically and meticulously spending the time where time needed to be spent. While pictures of the end product are always great, one needs to see a project from beginning to end to fully understand the skills needed to ensure your walls are straight, your pipes don’t clog, your electric doesn’t spark, your floors (and hence your cabinets) are level, and and every inch of your remodeled space feels exactly right. Gaudioso’s people have mastered those skills which is seen in the photos. The project was based on an architect’s drawings and was subject to inspection by the NYC buildings department. The project consisted of the following in order of complexity: - Bearing wall separating a terrible galley kitchen from the dining room was removed - A 20ft steel beam installed to support second floor of house (in place of bearing wall) - Steam heating pipes within the walls were re-routed to make way for a kitchen island - Waterlines and waste lines to the bathrooms above were all re-routed to make way for a higher ceiling and increased floor area - Existing kitchen plumbing completely removed, replaced and relocated - Electric in kitchen completely removed, replaced and brought to code (incl. upgraded breaker box) - Complete reframing & sheetrocking of the entire space - Non-bearing wall removed, ceiling, adjacent wall, and floor repaired and matched with existing - Cabinets, lighting fixtures, faucets and etc all installed - Floors removed, replaced and finshed. All of the items above and numerous other ancillary items were completed within the expected timeframe and without any matters of concern. On matters of preference, Gaudioso addressed in a way that told us they wanted us to be happy. One last thing, if you’ve read this far. Gaudioso took ownership of anything his people did touch or (what he believed) should have touched. During the course of the project there were two unexpected occurrences. In both these situations, most contractors would have thrown their hands up and said “that’s your problem”. Gaudioso, without being asked, scoped the occurrences into his realm of responsibility and fixed both issues at his own expense. Any project comes with its heartaches, especially one of this scale. It’s best to hire a contractor with a strong track record and people that are up to the task. Gaudioso is one you can rely on to get the job done without the typical contractor issues.

Very well. As always Anthony Gaudioso and his team were top notch. This was a small job re-tweaking kitchen lighting. These small jobs are always done by Anthony -free-of -charge and he is always responsive to my contracting needs. As I have said before, I have worked with Anthony on several very big jobs-such as bathroom and kitchen renovations and I have known him for more than seven years. He never fails me and I would never work with anyone else.

In 2016 we purchased a semi-detached two-family home in a neighborhood in Queens, NYC. The house needed major renovations and we count ourselves very fortunate to have selected Gaudioso Inc. as our contractor. In a first phase, Luis and his crew renovated the first floor rooms, did repairs on the brick walls outside and replaced the garage roof and the patio roof. We were pleased with the result and decided to continue with Gaudioso Inc for the next step: stripping the entire basement and rebuilding it while adding a bathroom and a laundry room. Yet again, we were happy with the work performed and the professionalism of Luis and his crew and the subcontractors. Once the basement was finished and an additional bathroom was available in the basement, we tackled phase three: renovation of the first floor bathroom and kitchen (while our daughter continued to live there), which was recently completed to our full satisfaction. Our compliments also go to Allison in the office who does an outstanding job keeping in touch with customers. No phone call ever remained un-returned and no e-mail un-answered. Since my husband and I live currently in a different state, it was especially important to be able to communicate by phone, e-mail or text message. The house was built in 1946, so we anticipate that more work will need to be done in the future. Right now, we are taking a break, but eventually we'll continue with renovations and it's a good feeling that Gaudioso Inc will be there to help us. One last comment: I noticed that their overall "A" rating contains one "B" under the "cost" rubric. I disagree with that "B". I think the old adage "you get what you pay for" holds true especially in construction. We want to be confident that everybody who works on our property is licensed and insured. It was also important to us to be able to find on-line reviews such as the ones on Angie's List here. Three other contractors we considered at the very beginning back in 2016 came in with lower offers but were difficult to communicate with or impossible to research.

Gaudioso Contracting did an amazing job with my basement renovation, I am a very pleased customer due to the quality of work and professionalism of all staff included on this project. I admire how well they all worked together, they always arrived on time and at the end of the day left my home very neat and clean. I would not hesitate and will highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting to friends, family and others.

This was my third job with Gaudioso Contracting and the work performed by Travis and his crew was superb. The workers were always prompt and showed great respect for my property insuring nothing was damaged and everything left spotless when they departed. My newly positioned medicine cabinet looks great, the dual function (radiator and heater) towel warmer functions perfectly and the surrounding walls with new plaster and paint look brand new. Gaudioso's office staffer Allison does a great job of handing schedules, onerous paperwork and client anxiety.

Anthony, Allison and Luis were a a refreshing group of people to work with on a contracting job. We had a bathroom repair that went horribly with another contractor, so we needed someone and come in to fix the prior job before things got worse. Luis and Anthony put together a proposal and got right to it. We had to have our new shower floor ripped out, the drain and piping replaced, a new custom shower pan installed, new shut-off valves, repair the shower head, replace wall tiles and remove and replace all of the grout. They showed up every day within their half-hour window and worked a full day. They were very respectful of our home and our space. The work they did to replace the previous shoddy work was spectacular. We no longer have to worry about leaking pipes and damaged fixtures. Luis was on site most days to oversee how things were going. And if he wasn't there in person, he was always available by phone to answer questions. Since we had potential subrogation claims against the previous contractor, we needed to document EVERYTHING as we went along. They were very patient with us and letting us take multiple photos and clearly explaining everything they were doing. Luis was also incredibly knowledgeable and was informing us of potential problems before they happened. We went to get the grout that we were told by the previous contractor to use. With one look and feel THROUGH THE PLASTIC BAG Luis was able to tell us that it was the wrong grout which was what led to many of our problems with the walls. We simply returned it for the unsanded grout which was the industry standard for wall tile. We further had Anthony and his team rip out the drywall in an overhang outside and install lights, an outlet, insulation and then repair damaged drywall from the original plumbing job. Everything was perfect. Very clean and professional job. We would highly recommend Anthony and his team again. They are very professional, knowledgeable and do great work!

Anthony and his team did a beautiful job on my bathroom (gut reno) and kitchen. The work quality was excellent and attention to detail was meticulous. I’m so happy with the decision to hire them and the end result. The foreman Nicolas and work crew were very respectful of my apartment and building during the project - several neighbors and building staff commented how the disruption was minimal and that the workers where there on time and ready to go each day. It took longer than expected, but there were no issues with scope or budget. Anthony accommodated reasonable requests within the scope and didn’t nickel or dime on anything. Allison from his office was immediately responsive to any questions. Extremely professional all around. I would hire Gaudioso again and recommend them highly.

First 2 projects went INCREDIBLY smoothly. This company is punctual, professional and really sympathetic to the plight of a city dweller needing quality help in an overpriced and generally unreliable market. I had such trouble finding someone to take on my kitchen, and Anthony himself came over and saved the day by suggestion a workaround to the issue. I SO appreciated the time, care and personal approach this company takes. It is really rare. The only thing I would caution on came out of my recent flooring project. I didn't know enough to ask the right questions or ask for the specifics of what I was getting. While the project manager Caesar and his team did an incredible job of protecting my furniture and space, cleaning up after the project, etc - I was underwhelmed with the finished project. I think this is mostly because I didn't know what to ask for, and I wish I had been able to talk to someone from the company to get a broader understanding of what the end result would look like. I also thought the communication toward the end of the project was a little tricky. I had to keep asking questions on treating the floors, what I should expect for the week or so after refinishing, etc. None of that info was readily available from the project manager and I didn't get much more after probing. That said, again - they were meticulous with the care they took in my apartment, and I will ABSOLUTELY use this company again. My only caution to anyone else looking to work with them is, in general - do your homework and ask for the things you want!!
