Excellent job on the warranty work. Prompt receipt of an email estimate. Job scheduled shortly afterward. Very meticulous. Even vacuumed the sidewalk outside. Hard working team, would hardly take a break.

Didn't. I called a few times, no response.

Anthony's crew was professional & neat. They did a beautiful job & accomplished it on a efficient time frame.We were so happy with his work that when my employer needed some work at his rental property in Great Neck, I immediately recommended Gaudioso.

They have been good so far. It took a little time to get the actual dates agreed for the start of the project. Now that they have started it they have been very professional. The foremen are very good and have some helpful ideas. Things are going pretty smoothly so far. It has been a week since they have started the work and it is a 3-4 weeks project. They are friendly and accommodating with regards to coming up with helpful suggestions. They are helpful in giving me the information about how to go about remodeling and things like that. I would certainly recommend them. I am yet to see the final results. They were a little expensive.

The end result is excellent. During the renovation there were some delays due to chipped tiles but these were promptly fixed by the foreman on the job. They attempted to keep the apartment clean and protected the floors while working inside the apartment.

Bid proposal went well. In the end I elected not to continue with this contractor due to timing and other constraints.

Anthony and his team were the most professional, efficient and cleanest contractors I had. It's amazing all the little details you don't even realize that Anthony helped me with. I love my new kitchen. GAUDIOSO CONTRACTING is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I will certainly be contacting him for my bathroom renovation.

We thought Anthony was very professional. He gave us a very detailed estimate and a lot of good advice. Unfortunately he was a bit over budget for us, as we were not getting any insurance money and had to pay out of pocket for the damage we needed fixed. We went with a scaled back version and was able to get someone we had worked with before.

Anthony Gaudioso did everything for me. He got the boilers, electricity panels and all other parts for my home quickly from PA. I was able to have everything completely done by Thanksgiving. Mr Gaudioso got everything done within 1.5 weeks. He worked with me as I have a disabled child in the home and they wanted to get everything done quickly, correctly and accomodate all our needs. Mr. Gaudioso is trustworthy and reliable. I would highly recommend him to others and especially people in the neighborhood who have had their homes destroyed by this hurricane.

How lucky to have hired the best contractor in town ! Thanks Angieslist ! Anthony came to estimate the work , on time, and provided very quickly with an estimate. We decided to work with him as he knew how to do the bathroom of my dreams : a concrete bathroom, and for his ethics : there were things that were wrongly done by the previous owners and he proposed to fix it, for free sometimes, because it was an insult to good construction work. His foreman Luis is smart and works great, he will do and do it again until it is perfect. They came even during superstorm Sandy to make sure we were ready to settle on time and welcome our baby in a nice and finished place. The bathroom is new, from top to bottom and real peace of art, I love it. They did a great job cleaning and painting all the ceilings, walls, doors, installed shelves, knobs, new lighting. I would definitely recommend them and call them again.

Mr. Gaudioso successfully remodeled our kitchen in two weeks in 2010. This summer the master bathroom was gutted and new electrical wiring and plumbing were installed. We told Mr. Gaudioso we wanted top of the line products and showed him a picture of a luxury bathroom we liked. We were out of town for 5 weeks while the remodel was in progress. We left many of the decisions to Mr. Gaudioso: the choice of lighting fixtures and the design of the custom made vanity, medicine chest and wall cabinet which provide copious storage. When the custom made frameless shower door was not ready, he installed a temporary shower curtain. He was attentive to our needs. He provided us with the papers necessary to give the co-op board for the remodel. We established a good personal relationship with him.

Every thing worked as promised. Only thing that was not good was that they did not finish on Friday and left the house is bad shape for the weekend and completed on Monday.

I truly don't have enough words to describe how amazing this company is. After my initial meeting with Anthony (the owner) I was convinced that he was who I was planning to hire for this job. During our consultation Anthony talked with me for over an hour, was extremely knowledgeable, took copious notes, and fully understood my vision and exactly what I was looking to do. Once I finally got board approval I was given an amazingly tight timeline. Gaudioso was able to jump in, and get my unbelievably ambitious list of work done in the short amount of time (5 weeks!) allotted. I also have to say, not only did they get it done on time, but everything is perfect. Throughout the process Anthony was always available, kept me updated on progress, and his staff was an absolute pleasure to work with. They too were extraordinarily professional and completely on top of their game. All in all - I was 1 million percent pleased throughout this entire process. Anthony and his team could not have been more competent and professional. Gaudioso is truly concerned with the customer being satisfied and one of the many reasons they truly stood out to me - aside from their work - is that they really do value you as the customer. Anthony strives to make sure you're happy and that the work he and his team have done meets the standards, you have. I have recommended Anthony to numerous people already. I also need to note that my super was also incredibly impressed with this company, so much so that he's also recommended him to other people in my building. I am unbelievably grateful that I found Gaudioso Contracting. After reading so many awful reviews of other companies I couldn't be happier that I chose Gaudioso.

Mr Gaudioso had to take over this job from another contractor who only filed permits and architectural drawings. Due to this first experience, we were not very trusting. Mr. Gaudisio provided us with all assurances that our job would be completed in a professional manner. He was able to deal with the permits that were already filed. Workers showed up everyday and and he was able to deal with some hurdles that were unforseen as the job progressed. We went into this with a bad taste in our mouth from previous contractor, but found we were able to trust Mr. Gaudioso. with this job. Bathroom turned out very nicely and he was able to reinstall original tub and vanity. Mr. Gaudioso has gone the extra mile for us, trying to help us resolve problems which were caused by the previous contractor. We highly recommend him and would certainly hire him again. On a general note, we learned the hard way. Verify all insurance and workers comp. and get access to lists like Angies to get first hand reviews. I would have never thought it was so complicated to do a small renovation in NYC. I am still trying to get the original architect to do final signoff.

The entire experience was great. Anthony and his team were very responsive and through. We had them start working the day after we closed and they were able to get the project done within our very limited time frame (which is almost unheard of when it comes to home renovations). Our project came out great and I would recommend them (and already have) to anyone who is looking for a great contractor.

The contracting and renovation work I hired Gaudioso Contracting for was excellent and I would highly recommend them if you are looking to renovate your home. I interviewed several contractors for the work that was done on my apartment and Anthony (the owner) stood out from the rest for his professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge. His pricing for the job was fair and reasonable. Since I live in a coop, and sit on the board as well, when looking at contractors, it was important that the contractor selected be able to work efficiently and cooperatively with the staff and management during the course of the project. Anthony (the owner) and the crew that did the work were phenomenal in this regard and if you live in a coop or condo, I would even more so recommend Gaudioso Contracting. The work was done in the time frame estimated, was within budget, and of high quality. Many contractors say they will work to your satisfaction, but with Gaudioso Contracting, they actually do mean it.

It went very, very well. Gaudioso Contracting was service-oriented from the start: responsive, patient, attentive, engaged. The foreman and other workers were professional, personable, and trustworthy. Leaving a contractor in my apartment in Brooklyn while I went to work (with two cats locked in the bedroom) could have been anxiety-producing, but it was not. They kept the work as minimally invasive as possible, completed it in a timely manner, attended to the punch list promptly, and left one very happy customer with a gorgeous new bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend the company, and have in fact recommended Gaudioso to my co-op board for work on the building interiors.

This is my second renovation with Gaudioso contracting. He did a complete kitchen renovation about 3 years and I chose him after extensive research and interviews. As I was totally happy with his work I chose him again to do this renovation. The team is even better than several years ago. They are completely and quickly responsive to my needs and questions. The workers are top notch courteous, clean, and skilled. The work went very smoothly and quickly with a minimum of disruption and stress. I am extremely happy with the finished product. Gaudioso Contracting also has a handyman service for small jobs which I have used. I find all my experiences with Anthony and his team to be terrific and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Anthony's quote was not the lowest we got, but he came highly recommended by our neighbors, so we chose to go with him. Anthony immediately got a sense of the apartment's style and was able to make very good suggestions about trim and kitchen floor tiles. We did not have to move any furniture or prep the place in any way; we just went on vacation and it was almost all done when we returned. The work done was of very high quality and any problems were addressed very promptly. We even changed our minds about the color of one wall and they repainted it at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting and hope to work with them again in the future.

Gaudioso Contracting is great and I strongly recommend considering them for any renovation projects. I discovered them a few years ago via a direct mailer I received when I bought my apartment and was planning to renovate. Anthony Gaudioso impressed me immediately when he met me for the initial walkthrough and project discussion. Although I needed to put my project on hold for awhile, there was no question that I'd use Gaudioso when I was ready to move forward. Anthony listens carefully to the details of the project and offers very good suggestions to keep the project focused within the established budget and he steered me away from some of my less feasible ideas (or suggested a better solution). He really knows what he's talking about. His pricing is extremely fair based on the other bids I got and, given the quality of the work performed, I feel like I got more than my money's worth. This is a terrific crew. They are punctual, responsive, and have tremendous attention to detail. All work areas are cleaned up at the end of each day and the apartment was spotless when I came home each night. The foreman on the job was the consummate professional. He thoroughly answered all my questions and kept me completely updated each evening regarding the status of the job. I will use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

He seemed knowledgeable but I don’t think he was really listening to what I wanted. He gave me the highest estimate; it was at least $5,000 more than the others. He made everything seem very complicated and he made it seem like I should trust him because I didn’t know anything about construction. He wasn’t cooperative and I don’t think I could have worked with him.

Anthony & his wife are an excellent team that epitomize top notch service in the contractor world. Within less than 30 minutes from an email sent directly via Angie's list (ona Friday late afternoon) I had a reply and a call to schedule an appointment for a consulation/estimate on my job. Several other top-rated local Angie's list contractors weren't as prompt or didn't respond at all! Anthony was very accomodating for our appointment and was able to come to see our apartment the next day (Saturday) since we needed to have the work done in a very tight timeline (5 days). Upon arrival, he was very professional and presented me with his business card and was wearing a shirt designating his company (even on a Saturday!). During the consulation, he asked very specific questions, took notes, measurement and offered suggestions that helped us in our final decision on the full project scope. He promised a written quote within 24 hours. Later that day he called for some clarifications and before waking up on Sunday AM we had a full written proposal in our inbox. We appreciate quality and weren't just looking for the cheapest contractor out there. The quote we rec'd was very specific and competitive - although not the lowest. I'm not going to say you get what you pay for, because we got MORE than we paid for. We selected Gaudioso (out of 5 other contractors bids) b/c we felt he would do the job to a high quality spec, within the timeline needed and continue the top service that had been shown in the initial processes. Upon hiring Anthony we were sent a certificate of insurance (without even asking). Since we had 5 days, he told us they'd start work immediately (as we needed) and his crew was on site the next morning at 8am. Each day we saw the job progressing and any concerns we had were immediately addressed. When we got to the expected last day of the project we still had a few items that needed to be handled and Anthony personally, along with his foreman, went over them with us. It did take a few extra days to get it to perfect, but Anthony continually assured us that we would be 100% satisified. We've heard of too many horror stories with other contractors that just leave a job half done (or half-baked) not caring how you feel - Anthony is NOT one of those. We felt confident that no matter what, Anthony would make sure we got what we wanted - this type of integrity is what you should ALWAYS look for in a contractor (and frequently hard to find). In summary, we were 100% pleased with Anthony & team's extreme responsiveness, top quality work, perfect punctuality and continued professionalism that we would not hesitate to recommend his company - in fact we already have to several friends.
