Description of Work: Cancelled estimate about 30 minutes before it was to take place. No services provided.

Description of Work: They came to look at the work I needed to get done. Told me I'd get an estimate in a day or two by email Never received one. Called twice and never received a return call. To me that's not real professional.

Description of Work: The company owner contacted before we even had a chance to meet or see the area of renovation ( in this case a bathroom). He tried to set up a lump sum cost below which he would not work. He tried to intimidate me by indicating that if I found anyone for less I should "run" which does no justice either to me or the rest of his colleagues. His attitude was unprofessional by my standards ( I am in the construction business myself) and I told him I would not meet him after all this. Angie's list you are too easy on your appraisals and giving "honorable medals".

Description of Work: Replace ment of a shower drip pan, including selecting and replacing existing tile. This was a messy job in a small, narrow space on a third floor accessed by stairs. Travis Grega (Project Manager) did a very professional job of estimating the work and then keeping us informed about any changes. He and his assistant worked quietly and cleanly - they made every effort to seem "invisible" to us and pretty much succeeded. It was altogether a very satisfactory experience and I would highly recommend Gaudioso Contracting, and in particular Travis and his colleague, for any work of this type.

Description of Work: We had a situation where we could no longer have our stacking washer/dryer fixed, but needed it replaced, and we found that it was necessary to remove fixtures and part of the 1/2-bath wall. Basically, instead of a simple appliance replacement/installation, we needed a general contractor for the first time in our lives. I called three people, liked them all, and Anthony Gaudioso gave us the most realistic assessment of the situation. Once the job started, the foreman of the crew noted that the previously jerry-rigged and potentially dangerous situation (our dryer's exhaust was not being ventilated AT ALL) could be amended and they did that in just a half day's additional work. We are so grateful that this was taken care of, and the cleanup and paint job was done in a timely and just fine way. One more rotten tidbit that Gaudioso's team came through on: The first machine that Sears delivered was defective. The team had actually anticipated this and made themselves available to re do the last bit of work they'd already done. We were really happy with them.

Description of Work: I called the number provided to make an appointment for an estimate. The woman who answered the phone identified herself and the wife of Anthony, the man who would be coming to do my estimate for roofing and siding. We set an appointment day and time and I was told that Anthony would call me the day of to let me know if he was running early, late, or on-time. I was also given his cell phone number. My appointment day and time came and went. I called his cell number to see where he was but there was no answer so I left a message. He never showed up and I never heard back from anyone.
