G&S Construction Ventures

Big thank you to our GC, Gianni & Angela and their crews. They are truly Italian Angels and heroes to my family. I cannot imagine what my life would have been without them on our renovation journey. They handled the most stressful time of doing construction in 2020, in a very sensitive neighborhood and building. Angela handle most of communication, computer and paper work. Gianni handle all site work including his own crew and sub-contractor which is super helpful. They answer our email or phone within 2-3 hour every time. Sometimes we had to ask very unreasonable request due to Covid but they handle it professionally. When it comes to work it gets even better. We thought it was too good to be true to meet contractors like this. But our experience with them was good all the ways till at the end. Gianni and his crew has a lot of experience with old houses and has very high standard at finish touches. Every line is all straightly alines and if we agreed our first choice wasn't so good he did not mind redoing the work. We are truly thankful that my family, especially my little girl, can live in the apartment where everything was built strongly, healthy and thoughtfully.

They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after themselves and they communicated very well.

All the work was done on schedule. The workers were polite, quiet and cleaned up nicely. We didn’t go over budget. Any questions I had were addressed immediately. I will hire them again

It went very well with the exception of the pandemic shutting down the project for 3 months in the middle. While work went on, I had weekly walk-throughs with Gianni and frequent text and phone calls with Angela in the office. I found them both very friendly and responsive to my questions and concerns. Gianni has a good design eye and his recommendations were very welcome. Best of all, they cleaned up after themselves! No junk left behind, no random paint splatters. I have hired G & S to do a gut renovation of my kitchen starting in January 2021.

One sentence to sum up is they're amazing! Gianni has a high standard on his work and his crews are at the same level of Gianni's. Angela is super professional dealing with all necessary paper works and responsive to any of our questions. Working in a walk-up co-op building in COVID-19 situation is very difficult, but they followed all COVID-19 measures we asked - wearing masks, temperature check, cleaning hallway everyday, etc. G&S really took the extra mile to make our apartment more beautiful and more functional and fit better for our needs. We feel truly lucky to work with them.
