Use Fix a Roof. James the owner is always on site making sure that the job is done correctly. And James says what he will do and does what he says he will do. The pricing is very fare and a good value for the work that is done. Just completed in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn on 4/14/23 Fix a Roof also does amny other home contracting repairs. Iwill use this company again the future

Great to deal with came straight ton the point did exactly what he said he would do. Very pleasant ordeal compared to all the other contractors tg5at I have dealt with in the past. Highly recommended!

Pleasant to deal with... in fact.. Fun! He took care of the work as promised and followed up to make sure things were 'water-tight'. I would use them again... but, of course... hope not to need to... so, in that case, I would just recommend them to a friend!

I had endured an endless leaking problem in the upstairs unit my wife and I rent out. I'd had someone come over to seal the roof but the problem only grew more frequent and more intense. My poor tenant had to put out several buckets in his kitchen and living room. Exasperated, I brought in a few different roofers that were referred to me by friends and/or neighbors. I felt two of the four companies were of very high quality, so I went with the roofers who seemed most fair with regards to the assessment of the problem and the pricing out of the solution. James from Fix-a-Roof (by United International Construction) told me what the real problem was and (more importantly) told me what DIDN'T NEED to be be done. He told me exactly how he inspected the roof, the skylight and the adjacent wall. He was very firm that the skylight and roof were sealed very well and that it would be a waste of my money to pay someone to "fix" them. James told me plainly but confidently that he would fix the problem and provide a 5-year-warranty and 100% guarantee. Although his schedule was packed, he made time to do the job, and he did it very well. I've waited a couple of months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure the roof held up and we didn't experience any leaks. And after several days of high winds and heavy rain, I can confidently say that his work was of the highest quality. Remember, this was not our first attempt to fix the problem, nor was it our most expensive, but it's been the only effective job we've had. As I mentioned, James is a very straight forward, blue collar guy (and that's a complement) who takes pride in his work. He's very conscientious and polite. I thought he was very solid all around.

I had received several quotes for the repairs necessary on my roof. Fix A Roof gave me the lowest quote, so I went with them. I was a little worried that cheap meant lesser service, but not in this case. Fix A Roof was professional from the minute they got to my home. They explained what they were going to do, what materials would be used, and how it was going to fix my problem. Within 2 hours, my gutter was reattached, and my leaks were repaired. As I mentioned above, frequently lower prices means lesser service. I am glad to say that in this case, it couldnt be farther from the truth. I am glad I chose them, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again in the future.

they showed up that morning installed new roof skylight and gutter in a timely fashion. The men were very polite and professional. they worked till it was getting dark and completed the job all in one day, which was great. they cleaned up the entire job site it was like they were never here, I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. James came to the roof and immediately saw where the water had gotten in under the tar paper. Also, I was amazed at how quickly he came. I called Wednesday late morning, and he came that very afternoon after work at around 6:00pm to give me an estimate. And then he came to do the work the very next day and was finished by 3:00pm. This was hugely important to me because I had deck work scheduled for the following day and James and his assistant came and got it done quickly and neatly. When I discovered an additional problem, he came back that night at 6:30pm after finishing another job even though he had already had a very long day with various jobs. But he came back and fixed the extra thing I requested at no extra charge. I was much relieved to have the problem taken care of, and he took care of it quickly and thoroughly. Thank you, James!

I had a very bad leak in my roof and could not find a roofer that was available to come to my home. I called Fix A Roof on Saturday afternoon, he promised to be at my house on Sunday before noon. At 11:30 am, Jim, the owner called me came to my house, patched used patched up my roof. He called me after the first rain to make sure that the leak was fixed. I was very satisfied with the service I received from Fix A Roof.

It was fine. I ended up using another company to do the work however I would hire them in the future.

Terrible! After all set, he suddenly out of what needed, went to home depot never came back, left ladder on the house if you know what I mean., came back after 2 phone calls next day, instead of repairing just put bunch of black tart on the roof of 2milion dollar property. Promised it is repaired. Left his dirty gloves sticking on the water gutters. Next rain both places leak as same as before - no change. Never came back, ignored calls, then start giving excuse that transmission broken and he is repairing, 2 weeks past start saying that he is in poor condition no car no work, then other excuses such as I will not understand because I'm well and he is poor. He is not he simply lie, unprofessional. Don't go for cheap and do work twice- hire professional - He is not one of them.

The owner gave a reasonable estimate and the employee did a professional job. During the inspection I pointed out some areas I thought should be given added flashing and he did it immediately with no complaints. Overall, excellent experience and I would highly recommend him.

The work was done in a timely fashion. They clean and up around the house and all the debree was but in a container and carted away the next day.

The job went quite well I experienced a leak from the roof, this company already performed my roof removal and they did such a great job and after James told us that he also did Interior and exterior painting I decide to hire them to do the painting of one room and Painting the ceiling of another.

Fixaroof removed all my shingles and flatroof material down to the rafters because I had wooden shake shingles. They installed new plywood, new gaf shingles, weather watch, cobra ridge vents and what sold me on this job, gaf hip and ridge. There contract clearly stated that they would install the gaf hip and ridge. No one else's contract stated that after the roof removal they would be installing these or any hips for that matter. They did an absolute great job, my roof looks beautiful. I was so happy that I chose fixaroof to do my roof removal or roof rip as they called it, as to my previous run ins with roofers in the past was a nightmare, but James made it so pleasurable that I was shocked that there are still great roofing mechanics out there! I am calling my brother to recommend that they do his flat roof and I will recommend them to all my friends. Great job Fixaroof. Thank you for being honest!!!!
