the company lies, and scams and refuses to cover repairs. then the claims people act like children. one of the managers (claims his name is "Todd" but sounded like a lie) acted like a child and all he did was spat off lies and fake info and said they will not cover a repair making up info that is was not written on the trouibleshooting work order. please do NOT use them. this company is horrible!!!!

I hired them because this site has good reviews. The first time I use them, they're denying my claim. I was never given any documentation about their claim process. I called them on a Saturday, which apparently their closed and could only take a message. Well, I had an AC emergency and couldn't wait. The rep on the phone didn't explain that I wouldn't be reimbursed because it needed to be diagnosed and accepted first, even though I asked because it was my first claim. I paid 1300 that day for 2 trips. When I called later on, because they never returned my first phone call, they explained I only needed to send the claim to their claims department email. I never heard from them so I had to call. The 3rd time calling they finally said I'm not getting reimbursed after being on hold for 25 minutes, but that it was under review because of the situation. 2 days later, I get an email saying they'll pay $90!!! I called and yelled at these guys. I ended up cancelling my service. They said it would take 30-90 business days plus $75 cancellation fee, plus being prorated even during that 30-90 day cancellation process. I would not recommend those company what so ever! They're running this company like a bunch of scam artists in a call center.

Great claims process, had an ac go out in the upstairs master room, they had someone out the following morning with the part that was needed to repair the unit. Refreshing to see a company stand by there product.

The work quality rating is for First Premier Home Warranty. They are awful. Denied my claim on Hot Water Heater by calling it a storage tank - say they cover "other parts' of hot water heaters. What? $10 heating elements? Difficult to talk to people at this company. Actual operating hours are short and that's if they answer the phone. STAY AWAY

My Representative Steven, was very, very helpful and took the time to address my concerns, and offer the best advice!! I was extremely impressed with Steven! He went out of his way to explain the details of the contract, what it entails and what I need! You people need more Representative like him! I can't thank Steven enough for helping me!! I look forward to being part of this company!!

Absolute pleasure to work with. The phones are answered promptly and technician arrive on site when they said they would. Work covered through the policy was done. No questions asked. Appreciate the get it done attitude.

Easy to make a claim. 60$ deductible to get my oven fixed which is great in comparison to other companies.

I had a home warranty company before and was not happy with them. Every claim was somehow denied and I had to pay out of pocket for everything. I did much research and created a spreadsheet and found First Premier. The customer service representative to sign me up was able to provide a very good package for me and coverage started right away with proof of current coverage. I had to put in a claim for a dyer that would not work and the process worked very well to get a provider out and he did a great job accessing the problem and fixing it. Very refreshing to see a company do what it's supposed to.

This company is the best home warranty company I have ever signed up for in 20 years! They had repaired 2 items in my home already and one of them being my AC system which was taken care of the same day it went out. So glad and will refer all of my family members!

They hire very poor contractors. The appliance person they sent reeked of cigarette smoke, was quite dirty early in the morning. They failed to give a report to us and the company and then lied to us about it. I had to pay a second time to someone else (I hired) to get a report and they identified the issue and even referred us back to Samsung for possible warranty on the motor. So, after three years the first time I called was a nightmare. Plus, I have to wait on hold for ever to get help. The Premier person I spoke to the second time said they would approve payment for the second diagnosis but of course they were not available and no notes were left to clarify for someone else. Not too impressd.

I hired First Premier as a new resident in Washington. They were the only Home Warranty Co referred by Angi. I've had other companies, but the warranty company I had in TX did not service WA. My HVAC stopped working and due to the cost of replacement, First Premier refused to replace the unit. Their customer service representatives were so rude and mean when I called to discuss the situation, that I eventually had to hire an attorney (who they completely ignored). They also insinuated that I was trying to "pull a fast one on them" since I was filing the claim a few days after the policy went into effect. My son is 100% disabled and there's no possible way we could have lived over 30 days without heat. This was shared with First Premier customer service staff and the situation fell on deaf ears without even an acknowledgement. We live in freezing cold weather (average temp where we live in the winter is 42/32 degrees). While attempting to work though the claim with First Premier, purchasing portable heaters created high electric bills. Their contract contains a lot of small print. Initially they requested the Home's Inspector Report which I provided - indicating the HVAC system worked properly. Next they asked for 3 years past maintenance on the HVAC system. I explained that I had moved in just over a month ago. They recommended I contact the previous owners (no kidding) and request these documents. I'm now having to go through mediation with American Arbitration Association (their select arbitration company [Section IX MEDIATION in their contract). If I can persuade just one to not use this company, then my time will be worth it. There's lots of home warranty companies out there, i.e., Choice Home Warranty, 2*10 Home Buyers Warranty, First American Home Warranty, etc. Based on reading other reviews, it appears that if the claim is small, they do a fine job. However, if it's a larger project and the item needs replacement, that's when they refuse to do the work and the small print contract clauses are pulled out and used to effectively eliminate them from responsibilities their contract promises. I've filed a complaint with Angi (and they were most grateful). Next, I'll contact the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint as well as Wounded Warriors for legal advice.

Title: Avoid First Premier Extended Warranty - Horrendous Experience! I purchased a First Premier extended warranty and it has been a complete disaster. My air conditioner broke down shortly after buying it, but First Premier denied my claim and provided a minimal compensation that didn't even cover the repair costs. They even deducted it from the hefty amount I paid upfront. Stay away from First Premier! They are a fraudulent company.
