Best move ever. From packing, loading and off-loading, the team took extra care and did everything perfect. I have moved many times , and this was the best experience top to bottom. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I'd like to share and express my experience with EQ Movers. I was quite cautious at first when I booked them but in the end, they managed to gain my trust because of their truthfulness. The crew arrived in time. They kept their promises and did a great job to handle my stuff. They never charged me extra nor did they cause any harm to my things. This company was fairly excellent in my own experience and I will surely use them over and over again as well as recommend others to use their services.

I was very pleased with my moving experience with Excellent Quality Movers. My team showed up right on time, and promptly began moving my items out of my old apartment. The complete move for a 1 bedroom apartment (with what I think is a lot of stuff!) was fully completed in just about 2 hours. The guys were all really nice and helpful. And the dispatcher/customer service representative was always available by phone. I called several times with questions before the move and he was nothing by friendly, courteous, and helpful. We've unpacked most of our items now and everything was in order. Glad to give EQ movers the highest marks. I would definitely use E.Q.M. again

We were not happy with the experience at all. Their initial quote to us - based on a very detailed phone convo was $400-4450 and we ended up paying them double that estimate. The team came around and worked at such sluggish pace - took a half hour cigarette break in between - obviously trying to maximize the money. A move that was supposed to take 4-5 hours, took two days. They took our stuff to their facility overnight because they couldn't get it done in time. All this - we could have still lived with - what got me really disappointed was how rude they were. I was pregnant at that time and they actually made crude jokes about that. UNBELIEVABLE. I'd never ever recommend these guys to anyone.

They did an excellent job. They were so quick and careful. I would never hesitate to call them again.

They were fantastic - 4 guys and a truck for $90/hour, and they were prompt, courteous, and extremely hardworking. I had an art studio that needed to be collected first, which was no problem. My husband has what I guess you could call a home warehouse of cds and records that he sells, so between all that and our stuff it was a huge haul. The foreman suggested $80 per man as a tip and I feel it was very well deserved and we were happy to pay it. I would use them again in a heartbeat (though we also love our new place and don't ever want to move again so hopefully we won't have the chance :) ).

THE WORSE MOVE OF MY LIFE. THESE GUYS WERE AS UNPROFESSIONAL THAT COULD BE IMAGINED. TWO LEFT WITH MY MATTRESS, AND WENT TO THE NE WING, UPON THEIR ARRIVAL THEY BROKE A SPRINKLER HEAD, AND THE ENTIRE FLOOR WAS FLOODED. A WITNESS SAW THEM TUG AT THE MATTRESS AGAINST THE SPRINKLER HEAD UNTIL IT BROKE. THE WATER DAMAGE TO THE MATTRESS WAS BEYOND REPAIR, AND AN ELEVATOR SUSTAINED A COMPLETE SHUT DOWN. SEVERAL APARTMENTS RECEIVED WATER DAMAGE, NOT TO MENTION THE ELEVATOR. NOW, THEIR CLAIM PROCESSING IS TOTALLY MIND ALTERING, THIRYT DAYS OF REVIEW, AND I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. THIS COMPANY REALLY BITES!!!!!!!!!

These guys are extremely fast and work extremely hard. They started at 7am on a Sunday which no other company was willing to do. Their price was half the price of two other companies I saw on Angie's List. These two other companies also told me the job would take 6-7hrs to move my 1 bedroom apt 10 blocks away to my new residence. But Excellent Quality Movers estimated it would take 4hrs, they actually finished the job in 3.5hr.

Would definitely recommend.

These guys are top notch. Professional, punctual, courteous, efficient, strong, quick, trustworthy and priced-well. Everything you want from your mover. I called up and spoke with Sergei, I believe he's the owner, he was quick to confirm my move - which I needed to be scheduled for the next day. It was the end of the month (31st!) so I was especially worried that they wouldn't be able to do it. He said no problem, we'll be there at 1p and earlier if at all possible. The three guys showed up just before noon. We all quickly realized that our building elevator was out (crappy old pre-war building) but they rolled with it used the stairs without any complaints - up and down to the third floor. Their price was very reasonable ($85/hr including 3 guys and the truck). The leader guy was very thorough with explaining costs upfront and when they had to do special packaging of our flatscreen TV he told me upfront what they needed to do and how much it would cost. They wrapped up all furniture, picture frames, open-lid boses, etc thoroughly in shrinkwrap and blankets (at no extra charge) and moved everything to our new home. I had estimated 6-7 hours total and they did it in 5! I would strongly recommend them.

I have used Excellent Quality Movers twice and would use them again without hesitation. Both my experiences with EQ Movers went extremely well. First move - Contracted with Excellent Quality Movers to move my father's NYC condo contents to North Carolina. I did most of the packing. The crew showed up exactly when scheduled, they were very professional and careful with all the items. It was a dedicated truck so once it was packed, they drove to NC and delivered at 7:00 am. Everything arrived - no loss, no breakage. Second move. When I needed to move my mother to NC the following month, I contracted with Excellent Quality Movers again since they did such a great job with my father's move. My mother had a great deal more than the previous move, so I had EQ do the packing. The crew of four showed up at 9:00 as scheduled. The owner of the company came too. There were very fragile collectibles (crystall, original paintings, etc). Each box was labeled with contents and room. Everything was packed by 5:00. The truck left for NC and was delivered at 8:00 am as scheduled the next morning. Everything arrived - no loss, no breakage, crew was very polite and helpful placing the items and boxes.
