 + -1 moreEverything was great but it seemed really really expensive given that, even by their assessment, it wasn't much of an infestation and they were here for a total of 45 minutes (over two visits) if that. they claimed that the chemicals they use are expensive, the very highest quality. But even so, the cost seemed excessive and I think a cheaper place could have done the same job.
Description of Work: we had a moth infestation in a tenants apartment. They came to evaluate, for a charge; then they came to treat. The problem appears to be solved.

 + -1 moreThey respond quickly. They are just a few blocks from my house which makes it very convenient. They are personable. I have been happy with them. They got rid of the problem. If the problem comes back they come back, and take care of it at no extra charge.

 + -1 moreI do not feel that Ecology Exterminating performed an effective service. Furthermore, they use false advertising in their promise of an "ecological" treatment - because they do indeed use poison.
Description of Work: I used Ecology Exterminating for a mouse problem. They charge $285 for a one-time, full-house mouse-proofing. I had seen a mouse in my kitchen and obviously wanted it gone. The technician was nice enough, but the only equipment he had was some steel wool, some poison powder (they advertise an "ecological" treatment that "keeps pets, plants, and kids in mind"), and an extra-long screwdriver. All he did was put poison into the holes around the pipes and radiators and stuff steel wool in them - something I could've done, although I was glad to have someone else take the time to do every hole in the house. The very next day I noticed evidence of the mouse again! They do offer a six-month guarantee, so I'm hoping they will come back for no charge, although I have no faith that they will solve the problem, as they seem to have no better tools than what I can get at Home Depot.

 + -1 moreWELL, I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY SPRAYED AND IT WORKED FOR A WHILE BUT THE ROACHES CAME RIGHT BACK. THEY DID NOT MAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR KEEPING THEM OUT THEY JUST SPRAYED AND LEFT.
Description of Work: THEY SPRAYED THE INTERIOR OF MY HOUSE FOR ROACHES.
