 + 1 moreHe had deep experience in the brooklyn heights area, but apparently had recently joined another group and it would have required a second meeting with additional people from the co to provide an estimate. Provided some very good insights and knowledge about the work and building code as well as good knowledge of any landmark issues. Also had good insight around issues and questions that needed input from super around any replacement of the electrical panel or movement of fixtures and bath. He did accomodate meeting with us on short notice, which was good.
Description of Work: Project was gut renovation of tiny kitchen (50 inches wide by 5.5 ft long) and typical small bathroom gut as well with 10x13 ft main room. Main room required replacing doors on double closet and making above storage more accessible. Main room - repair to window wall, overhaul of window to work well, replace and properly finish through the wall A/C; fix up walls and paint, sand and finish HW floors throughout. Also wanted opinion of need to replace electric panel or any rewiring of electric, along with replace of small kitchen and bath window. Kitchen was largest challenge, followed by bathroom since not standard 5 foot across for a bathtub, do you reglaze or replace with shower integrated with room.
