They always answer the calls and are very dependable. I can't remember the price but I am sure it was reasonable. They have been great and are very friendly and capable in what they do. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will use them again in the future.

We were so happy with C&M Home improvement. Matt was fabulous. He was great at addressing our questions and concerns. Matt gave us great advice on where to select our bathroom and kitchen supplies. It was a bit daunting, but he was great about helping us through the process. C&M Home Improvements works with multiple Home renovations vendors and having worked with Matt, you know he wouldn't recommend anything but the best. You could always count on Matt to return your phone calls and if you had a problem he would take care of it immediately. He understood our vision very well. Overall, we were very happy with Matt and his crew. We would happily use their services again.

Just an estimate and design meeting.

The C&M team was incredibly polite and professional. All working areas were cleaned up daily, and they did a great job of containing any dust/debris in the immediate work area, which greatly minimized any disruption the work could have caused. Any questions/issues were immediately rectified, and Matt even called back after the job was done to make sure I was still happy with the work. C&M was the fifth contractor I've used since living in NY, and will be only one I will use going forward. I recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs work done.

Matt had to work with our architect on a permitted job in NYC. He worked well with her and others. We had one crew the whole time, which communicated well with us and were about the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet. We came to realize that everyone knows Matt and nobody has a negative thing to say about him. We knew what we wanted, very specifically, and Matt remarked that this is his favorite type of client. We ended up taking up a lot of the coordination between Matt's subcontractors, and were happy to do so, but this may be something to consider for the client who doesn't want to be bothered at all with the day-to-day of the project. It took longer than expected for the job to be completed, but this was in no way C&M's fault. In fact, when our cabinets came in late, they were able to schedule around the delay and were ready to go once our cabinets arrived. We have received a ton of compliments on the job, and when we get around to updating our upstairs bathroom, we'll definitely call C&M again.

We live in a 3 bedroom co-op so our living room became our temporary kitchen. The crew went to great lengths to minimize the dust from the construction and built a "cocoon" around the kitchen entrance which kept all the dust inside the kitchen. We ran into a 10 day delay near the end when a supplier sent us the wrong sink. Matt helped strighten that out too and as soon as the right sink was received the job was completed in 3 more days.

Matt is a professional and despite the horrors of renovation, always remained calm and knowledgeable. When they opened up our ceiling, a leak in pipes was discovered and required immediate attention which it was given. Several weeks later when we were nearing the kitchen's completion, a leak was noted in the kitchen ceiling. Matt was conscientious in his response coming to our house almost immediately. Although this was not connected to the renovation, Matt found the source of water and fixed it the next day. He always responded to our calls very quickly and reassured us that everything would be good in the end! He was right. The kitchen turned out beautifully. We would recommend this firm without any hesitation.

Matt and his team were great! We had a good experience from the time Matt came to give us the estimate until the last bead of caulking was applied. The time they anticipated (3-4 days) was correct. The workers were polite, and they were very clean and respectful of our home environment. Our superintendent commented on how careful they were to respect the building carpets and hallways when they removed the old tub.

The entire job was done and completed in a highly satisfactory manner. We must say that Mr. Zaccheo is a man of his word. If he said he was coming to the site, he came and at the time specified.. He was always prompt and courteous & is pleasant and has a broad range of knowlege in the construction field and is willing to answer and question put to him. Always there to supervise his workmen, so that everything ran smoothly and in a timely manner. He is one of the most competent and talented contractors you would ever want to work with. You can use his services with confidence and trust knowing your job will be done properly. I would definately recommend him without any reservations.

This was by far the best experience I have had when dealing with contractors. If you are looking for a company that delivers an exceptional product for a fair market price, coupled with professional and respectful craftsmen, then C&M is the contractor for you. From start to finish, Matt and his team did EVERYTHING they promised. The bathroom is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is recognizable by everyone who sees it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The only drawback, if there is one, is that you may have to wait until Matt has an opening in his schedule. He is definitely worth it, you will be assured that once the job begins you will have a dedicated team that works on your project, and only your project, until completed. I agree with other reviews, a rating of 'A' is not high enough!

I wish there was a grade above "A" I could give. At least "AA". I called Matt for an estimate after reading the rave reviews on Angie's List. He came over promptly (twice, actually) and spent as much time as it took to answer my questions. What a gentleman he is. I can't imagine anyone being more knowledgable, patient or experienced. He didn't rush me or mind my many questions. Of course we spoke about budget and he sent me a detailed proposal that same evening which was absolutely fair. Matt's crew was the most pleasant, professional, hard working fellows you could ask for. At the end of every single day, they left the area and surrounding hallway cleaner then it was when they started! Matt suggested where I might go to look at tiles, fixtures, etc. That was wonderful since I didn't even know where to begin. He told me many times to not hesitate to call him with questions, and he returned every single call within an hour or two. The job came in on budget and on time. Overall, I am thrilled. No complaints whatsoever. I would definitely call him again, and would gladly wait for him to be available if necessary. I wouldn't consider anyone else.

Matt and his crew worked quickly in a very professional way- they were courteous and paid attention to detail. They did a great job keeping the apartment clean and worked through all those pesky renovation problem easily. Most importantly, Matt stuck to his quote and did not cut corners. I would hire Matt again in a heartbeat- very trustworthy and professional.

Right from the first meeting with Matt we were always kept up to date regarding expectations of when the work would begin and we were provided with great ideas and guidance on all aspects of the project. The entire staff of C&M were always punctual, polite and professional. Their attention to details was evident in all work performed from the tear down to the tiling. We feel truly lucky to have found C&M to perform the work that they did. Everything was of the Highest Quality. We continue to look at the room in a state of awe over how beautifully the renovation turned out. I would highly recommend Matt and C&M to anyone for any project big or small. Additional Information. Due to the bathroom's small size we requested that the tub be replaced by a shower which would be relocated to the end of the room were the toilet was currently located. This would make better use of the limited space. Matt from C & M was straight forward about being willing to attempt to relocate the toilet and shower. Understandably he stated that only once the flooring was removed he would be able to see if it could be accomplished. And much to our gratitude he was able to accomplish the relocation. When other contractors said "it cant be done" Matt and his team "got it done!"

Excellent work. C&M was a referral from a neighborhood friend and we had them back to do our bathroom 18 months later.

All in all, we were VERY pleased with the whole process. Matt Zaccheo was very responsive and helpful when it came to the planning and execution of all of the above-mentioned work. He was easy to work with, polite, courteous and willing to go the extra mile in order to satisfy our needs. His staff was very diligent in performing tasks and meeting milestones along the way. Any future work will definitely go his way.

Everything about the experience was positive. Matt told me three weeks and they finished almost three weeks, to the day. His workers arrived at eight each morning and worked thru until five. They cleaned up after themselves and kept the disruption to our life to a bare minimum. The bathroom turned out more beautiful that we anticipated. Matt was easy to deal with, accessible and responsive and full of great ideas. I would recommend Matt and his company to anyone considering hiring a contractor.

Matt and his staff did an amazing job. They concluded there work in a timely manor. Matt shared his ideas and it helped us. The final product was great. We have used Matt before, with his ideas we have a new basement and he made a bathroom for us in a limited space. Matt is always there and easy to talk to. We have used C & M for the third time now and we can't wait to start another project with them.

I have a very old home that the previous owners repaired, however, I upgraded my old bathroom with marble, Steam room and much larger shower. C and M had creative designs to optimize every inch of space to let me enjoy a larger room. I would have never expected to get a steam and shower with closet space in such a small room. Their patience and expertise is second to none. I would not choose any other contractor in the future!!!!

I am very pleased with the work and overall experience. I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again in the future.

These guys were great!!! I absolutely love my new kitchen. They new exactly what to do and what I wanted. Matt also had great ideas for me. The work in the basement, my son absolutely loves his new room. The room and closets look like they were always there and not just placed. One of the closets, I had them put all shelves. These shelves are so sturdy I can store anything in there. I also had them install a new shower stall, it came out great!! I had a shower stall with a plastic bottom and tile walls. They made the hole shower tiled even the floor.

It was a wonderful experience. Matt went above and beyond my expectations. The work was excellent and he was always available to help me. It was a complete renovation and I needed a lot of direction. He helped me immeasurably every step of the way. For example he came with me to pick out all the appliances. He was always pleasant no matter how many times I contacted him. I would recommend him without reservation.
