They were supposed to come back and finish the work. We signed a contract that stated what work was going to be done, and how much was going to be paid. The contract states that he is in charge of wiring, installation, and programming of a security system. It has been ten months since we had him start, and wanted him to complete the job. He is saying that he won't complete the job, and wants to mail out equipment, but keep our deposit. I had to call him to find out that he was not going to come to complete the work. If I didn't called, I would not have known that he intended to mail the equipment and not finish the work. Would be willing to come to a resolution.
Description of Work: They were the first step of the wiring and installation of a security system. A $1,738 deposit was given at the start of the job.

Response from Cloaked Systems, Inc
We were hired in October 2011 to install an alarm system on this customers home. A deposit was paid to purchase the equipment. The equipment was purchase, we arrived and wired the home. After the wiring was completed, the customer asked us to give them 2 weeks while there contractor finished rebuilding the walls. We waited two weeks but we did not hear from them. We called them at the beginning of the third week and we left them several messages in which none of the calls were ever returned. The customer finally contacted us on August 7th 2012 over 10 months later and asked us to install the alarm system on the only date that they had available which was on August 18, 2012. My project manager told the customer that he will look at the schedule for the following week and he will return her call on Monday August 13th. The customer called back on Friday August 10th and this time she demanded to have the alarm installed in her home on Friday August 18th regardless of what prior appointments we had already scheduled for that day. Our project manager told the customer that Friday the 18th was not possible due to an already schedule appointment, but he was going to offer to have the alarm installed on Wednesday August 15th and that we will accomodate any time frame that they have available for that day, but before he was able to finish telling her, she became very condecending towards our project manager in which resulted in him refusing to install the system. We offered to give them the equipment that was purchased over 10 months ago when we were hired to do so, they refuse to accept it. This is an unfortunate situation. All of this could have been avoided if the customer would have been a lot let condescending and a little more understanding. After all, she is calling us over 10 months after they innitially hired us to install the alarm system. If at the very least she would have given us 2 or 3 days with there availability, something could have been done to accomodate there needs. There project was not delayed by us. We were hired to do a job. We arrived as agreed, and perfom that job. The job was partially completed when the customer stopped it, asked us for 2 weeks, they took 10 months, and when they called to make an appointment for us to finish, she misstreated our project manager unjustifiably. Our offer to give them the equipment that was ordered for there project 10 months ago stands.
