Michael was excellent. He was very communicative, professional and the quality of work was great. Even when supply issues occurred Michael made sure there was a solution that didn’t involve us waiting longer either.

They did a great job on replacing my air entire conditioning system (compressor and three wall units). It was a really tough job given I'm on a 4th floor walk up and previous equipment was so outdated, but Michael problem solved and worked tirelessly and efficiently to get me air again.

Michael and Vincent came and diagnosed the issue very quickly. What helped and reassured my wife and I was that they thoroughly broke things down to us on what the root cause could be (which was a little more beyond our initial thoughts) and provided us with their thorough recommendations. After they left, I notified Michael about an error on 2 HVACs and he followed up with me and walked me through on how to reset the system via phone. Very appreciative of the follow up and communication.

Michael was more than helpful in giving advice from multiple angles of our problem -- whether to repair or buy new. In the end, we actually ended up going with a different company who specializes only in repairs (really "by the book", so they claim) and also gave us a competitive price. When I told Michael, he couldn't have been more gracious, and, suspicious of the other company, wanted to stay on and talk to me about exactly what I need to watch out for when they're here, to vet their services and ensure their technician doesn't cut corners. He really demonstrated dedication and generosity. I'm almost excited to have another issue so I can use Michael's company.

Clean Air Doctors were the most communicative and knowledgable people we received quotes from to replace our oil furnace. They found us a good machine, were clear about when they would be able to install it, and worked efficiently to install it and remove the old equipment. They were also happy to provide information and extra insight whenever we needed it throughout the process. I highly recommend them.

I have had gone through many large construction projects over the past 15 years at my residence. Hands down, this was the most professional, honest and insightful company I have ever dealt with. From the beginning they offered advice that saved me thousands of dollars and followed through on every single aspect of the installation. When the inevitable snags hit due of the large scope of the project they provided the perfect remedies. I would hire again in an instant. Michael is the best!! He was incredibly knowledgable and thought of solutions for cooling/heating our entire row home. Unlike the other companies we got quotes from, he was friendly and eager to find solutions to a challenging old home that didn't have any type of preexisting HVAC system. He installed mini splits throughout the home with compressors up on our roof. They've been great at covering the space efficiently and for a reasonable price! The units are quiet and look great. I would recommend him for anybody looking for a fantastic HVAC installation!

My central air-conditioning unit was replaced by Clean Air Doctors. I can not be more pleased with the job that they did. The price was fair for the service that they provided. They installed the unit in the time frame they gave me when they started the work. The work crew was excellent. They were very unobtrusive as they did their work. A special salute must be given to the owner of the company Mr. Michael Morginshteren. He kept me informed of all facets of the work being done, and made certain that I was totally satisfied before he left the premises. Anyone who needs to have an air-conditioning unit installed would be wise to contact Clean Air Doctors. They will not be disappointed.

The service was great, a fair price, and high quality work

I received a prompt response from Michael about my problem -- my Mitsubishi split AC system was non-functional and we thought it might be a problem with inadequate voltage being supplied by CON-ED. He tried to save me money by instructing me to take several steps to test the system. When that didn't supply the necessary answers, he came to look at it himself the same day. After 45 minutes, he was able to get the system up and functioning. He was extremely thorough and focused and very pleasant to deal with. I'm very happy with the services provided.

We called them twice, Each time they said they would call us back. We couldn't schedule anything. They just left us hanging. I don't see how they could be so rated .

Very well especially since the job was extremely challenging. Michael had to chase down 4 different leaks and repair 20+ year old copper pipes by brazing and soldering. The access to the pipes was also difficult due to the location of the leaks (some in very tight corners and one in a ceiling.) Micheal would not give up even when the additional leaks were found. I actually had to call him back when I discovered the 4th leak at about 11 pm. He immediately returned and worked until 4 a.m. (basically through the night!) to finish the job. We would have been without heat and hot water for days if it were not for his help! He was also the MOST responsive and caring of the 15+ plumbers that I called for help by far!

Smooth as always, responsive, fast, excellent work. It's hard to find good people and Clean Air Doctors are especially good at what they do. Could not recommend more highly.

Not only did Michael replace the boiler in timely fashion but he did a perfect job and was extremely helpful and nice. He also saved me probably around 5000 dollars by fixing my other boiler - which i was going to replace - for free. Would hire again.

Had an appointment window from 11-1, but didn't show till after 3pm. One unit was checked, and needed a recharge of freeon. A bit pricey overall considering a tank cost about $100 and charged over $300 plus a $100 service call to refill. Another unit just needed a cleaning and is working more efficiently, that cost $150 plus an additional $100 for service, again a bit pricey for the service, but was completed professionally and done well. Paid $650 for services that in my quotes should have cost closer to $400/$450, however service was done fairly quickly (considering I called that morning on a hot summer Monday) and with professional equipment and eye. Units were working as good as new within an hour or so, once he showed up. He even gave tips for myself to maintain the units reducing the need for future expensive services.

Our split level AC unit was no longer pushing cold air. Asked a few contractors and Clean Air Doctors seemed to have good reviews. Daniel was very responsive to texts. However, a number of times we had to reschedule. Even day of he asked to push up the time slot up, which I obliged by 30 minutes. However, the technician Michael, showed up 30 minutes late to the appointment which meant I didn’t actually have to leave work earlier than I did. Michael spent about an hour testing two lines and found nothing wrong and said the AC unit itself needed to be replaced. He did explain the issues and said I needed warranty service and they couldn’t do anything else. Cost was $300. Seemed a bit high for the work performed since most of it was waiting around smoking while the air pump vacuumed the lines. Fast forward a few days and we contacted Fujitsu regarding servicing the unit as recommended by Michael and they said they don't work directly with consumers and that it is up to the technician to call them while diagnosing issues with the system. They also mentioned it is never their policy to simply replace an entire AC unit as Michael had recommended. At this point in time I contacted Daniel to followup with Fujitsu and my ticket number. Two days later with multiple follow ups I have not heard a word. Due to the extreme heat in the northeast this week I called other service technicians that were responding to see what could be done. The ones I spoke to all confirmed that the testing was incomplete. Clean Air Doctor should have fully tested the entire system. Testing the lines as well as the condensor coil and compressor. They mentioned the tests were relatively simple as well, using some soapy water and filling the lines with nitrogen to see if bubbles formed to check for leaks. None of this was done by Clean Air and I don't know why, because I did ask why they didn't check for those leaks and Michael simply said no one does that for products under warranty and that I would just get a replacement unit from Fujitsu. Clearly false. Another technician said that they check all the lines with nitrogen and test for leaks in the whole system even returning the day after to see if the pressure in the system goes down to check if there are pinhole leaks that can't be found on a short service call. This also includes filling up the Puron (R410) refrigerant. Total cost? $350...Most AC systems after 2010 use R410 and it's cheap...$100 for a 25 lbs cylinder, unfortunately most technicians charge $45-$85 per pound to refill. Michael explained how expensive the refrigerant was, again another false statement. In fact, Clean Air wanted $300 to check the lines and another $500 to fix a leaking line and fill with refrigerant. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed by the level of service and lack of thoroughness. I'm also miffed why there has been a lack of response to my inquiry of them contacting Fujitsu. They are more than happy to take your money, but after it's taken don't expect much response afterwards.
