Burda executed this project with great smoothness, professionalism, and respect for aesthetics. Specification, tax and insurance documents were all in good order. Workers were on site at the agreed-upon times and performed diligently. There was a delay during part of the work because I didn't allow enough time for Landmark's approval to come through. The scope of the work had to be increased after commencement because unexpected rot was discovered in the rear cornice. In the end, every detail was completed to our satisfaction. Burda should be on every shortlist for construction work hereabouts.

Burda was very prompt, neat and professions. They set up the scaffolding as soon as I got the Landmarks ok to do the work. It took a while to get that so they had to start as the weather was starting to be difficult for outdoor work. Nonetheless, even with the additional work of repointing which was a field decision, they finished the scaffolding part just before Thanksgiving so the tenants did not have to have that up for the holidays. The firm also sent all the needed paperwork and photos to submit to Landmarks for final sign off, which was easily received in January 2014. The 1872 building looks fabulous now.

The project went extremely well. They are not the cheapest. However, once the project began it became obvious that additional exterior waterproof painting was needed. However, they honored their estimate and ultimately did significantly more work than was contracted for, at no additional charge. Their integrity and level of service is excellent!
