+ 1 moreIt went great! Darren was the consummate professional - always on time, going above and beyond, and trying to save me money along the way. I've continued to use him over the years whenever any issues pop up in my apartment because he's so much more reliable than the handyman in my building.
Description of Work: When I moved into my new apartment, Darren did a top to bottom overhaul of the place. He painted, installed lights, fixed anything that wasn't in perfect condition, and helped mount the TV. The place was in amazing shape when he finished.

He arrives as scheduled and leaves his work area in a clean and neat condition. His projects at our home have ranged in price fro $200.00 to $5,000.00. Darren has absolute access to our home when we are absent. We trust him without question. I highly recommend Darren Dorman. Sheila Wollen
Description of Work: The most recent job was to prepare our home for the arrival of guests in our absence. He supervised the cleaning crew, determined repairs to be made to the dishwasher and supervised the repairs, tested all systems (heating, lighting,TV, internet, telephone, etc.) to make sure all systems functioned properly, adjusted systems, as needed. Darren Dorman of Brooklyndorman LLC has worked for us since Spring 2010. We trust him to do all general maintenance in our second home in Tribeca. Whatever project he has been tasked with has been completed on time and at the agreed upon price. He is licensed in many areas and carries all necessary insurance. He and his crew have installed Hunter Douglas shades, closet shelves, an alarm system, a sound system and have performed all general maintenance in my home.

I am further impressed by his honest, forthright business ethic. Too often contractors over promise and under-deliver. With Darren, I feel (even if it was an answer I didn't want to hear) he was always going to give it to me straight. Finally, I obtained the value of his vast experience at what he calls a fair price... I call it a bargain. I appreciate his care for the bottom line. I highly recommend Darren Dorman.
