This is about the tenth time Mike Jonas has saved my private practice of psychotherapy by getting me a greet computer he reconditioned and repairing it completely when needed (even ordering parts from England). He responds immediately when I call, visits when necessary, and is always extremely pleasant and--most important of all--EFFECTIVE. You can't lose consulting Mike.

I have used Brooklyn PC Clinic in the past. I am having another issue with my computer and called and left a message. I have never received a call back and it was over a week ago. Communication is difficult.

He came in and he concluded that it was not a hardware problem, it was actually my server. These crazy people that advertise all the time that do the DVR, the TV, the phone and all that crap. Well, they were dropping my line in other words. It was not cheap. He solved the problem. I did not want to think it was the actual computer which I'd have to replace. In the sense, just because he didn't find anything drastic, he still had to get paid, right? He did tell me it would be $80 an hour. He's okay. He was very good about getting back to me and coming on time, a class act. Actually, he was from England and has an interesting accent. he was kind of classy I think. He was very, very personable and did well actually. He explained everything. I haven't had anyone in a long time to look at my computer and I knew it wouldn't be cheap. I needed somebody and I talked to him and I liked his aspect over the phone, so I thought I'm Canadian and he's English, let's give it a go. It worked out fine.

Did great job. Arrived timely and advised on rout. Reasonable cost

Just a few days ago I wanted him to put virus protection on a laptop. He went above and beyond by making sure the laptop was secure not only from potential viruses but also theft. He is great. I would strongly suggest anyone needing computer work done hire him immediately.

I originally called Michael to inquire about the replacement of an internal DVD drive as the drive in my husband's laptop broke and he needed to burn a disc in order to complete a project. Michael suggested purchasing an external drive and hook it up to the laptop as it would be much cheaper pricewise than the actual repair. Did this but my husband was not doing something correctly and he really wanted the internal drive repaired so I called Michael back to schedule an appointment. Not only did he repair the internal DVD, but he showed my husband how to use the external DVD correctly. Now he has two options when he needs to burn a disc. Michael also suggested other software and hardware that my husband could use for his business that might be a more viable option. He was a gem, a true professional, extremely nice and polite. He really knows his stuff.. Will definitely use him again.

Mr. Jonas is very knowledgeable about computers. He quickly and accurately identified the source of a problem I was having and saved me days of needless worry by calling with this information before he made the home visit. On the visit, he sured up my computer's security and uncovered an issue I was not aware of. Mr. Jonas is also a very nice and patient gentlemen and you should not hesitate to call him for any assistance you may need with your computer.

The PC was fixed in one day. The price was very reasonable.

We had first used Mike last month for home computer repair, so I contacted him about this problem. He was able to graciously pick up the laptop from my husband's office which was a huge help. Before he even picked it up, he immediately let me know it would take several days since parts would have to be ordered, and gave me a ballpark figure for price, which turned out to be very accurate. I had emailed Mike since just a few weeks before he had worked on our computers in the house. He responded immediately even though he was out of town. He also offered us the use of one of his laptops while ours was being repaired, which was very kind, and turned out not to be necessary. It took exactly one week for the repair, and Mike again graciously was able to drop it off at my husband's office, and take credit card payment over the phone - all of which was a huge convenience. This was our most recent experience. I also want to say that when Mike came to my house in November the first time for a non-emergency desktop issue, he was able to come that week even though it was just before Thanksgiving. The computer was becoming very sluggish and within 2 hours it was much faster, we had new anti-virus programs, and it's like a new computer. I asked several questions about other matters, specifically my home network and TV connection issues, and he explained my options. He also suggested it might be a good idea to back the computer up on another hard drive. About 2-3 weeks later we called about our similarly sluggish laptop (this is before it was dropped) and Mike was once again able to clean it up. He had remembered my home network issues and came prepared with some equipment options which worked perfectly and solved a longstanding problem, as well as a very small and reasonably priced portable hard drive, so now my PC is totally backed up. We are very glad we found Mike Jonas on Angie's List. We now have 2 efficient computers, current backups, and are able to use the network to connect our TV (at the other end of a rather large house) to the internet and the ability to watch Netflix and other channels on our TV without hassles. Mike is a pleasure to deal with, very courteous, prompt and helpful. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Michael did what he promised to do. He was able to put both my husband and me -- both complete computer novices -- at ease.

Transfer of files and installation of programs went fine. He overcame some installation problems that arose. Since his visit I e mailed him asking some "how to" questions and he immediately responded. Time was used efficiently and cost was reasonable. Mike is a civilized man not all that geeky so a normal person could relate to him. Computers (and users) not being perfected will definitely use him when the need arises which it no doubt will

At Mike's first visit, I explained the problems I was having with my 10-12 year old home computer setup with its old hardware and outdated but still usable software. Mike clearly and patiently explained the pros and cons of repairing vs. updating vs. replacing my equipment. My decision at the end was to replace my desktop and old software with a laptop and current software programs. I was not pressured to buy anything, and having had the choices clearly explained by a most patient Mike, my decision was easy. His patience with my questions was much appreciated. It's important to note that while he did not rush, he did not waste time either. It is to his credit that several times he said he could do one thing or another and he then pointed out that it would be time consuming and he wanted to be sure I was aware of this since his rate was hourly. He gave me alternatives that I could do on my own. Before leaving at the end of the first visit, he gave me the closest approximate prices possible of what he would be bringing to me. He said he would be away the following week but would call me upon his return and arrange when he would come back with the new computer. He did call, he brought everything I expected, he set everything up and installed the software and explained where necessary. He was a pleasure to work with, patient, efficient and very personable. I cannot recommend him highly enough. As I've said, I have had personal experience with many computer techs over the last 20+ years, and Mike Jonas is wonderful in every respect. He's the best.

Right off the bat, Mike Jonas was very responsive. I had submitted a service request through his website and he responded back while on an overseas trip....and then again just as he landed to set up an on-site visit!! Just before my on-site visit, he contacted me that he was running an hour late. These things happen, especially in this business, when you run into a technical snag. But really, it's a testament to his due diligence. Mike went above and beyond to try and resolve our on-site backup issues. He dedicated lots of time and effort to remote-in to my PC (which is a great convenience!) to do due diligence and make sure everything worked just as it should...and at no extra cost. He is very professional, patient and courteous. He explains everything and isn't pushy. He was price conscious when he had to suggest an alternative for our on-site backup and he had offered us a promotional code for a one month trial when he set up our cloud-backup. He came prepared at the on-site visit with a brand new Toshiba external hard drive so that we can set up the on-site backup right away. To rectify our internet browsing issues, he did a thorough malware and anti-virus scan using two different programs so whatever one doesn't catch, the other will. He always made himself available for questions or concerns. He was always prompt when he had scheduled our "remote-in" calls. We are thrilled to have finally found someone that we can rely on for our computer issues. My husband will be using Mike for his office computer issues as well. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who is in need of computer assistance.

Installer came over and had everything set up within an hour. Tech also answered all of our questions regarding the network and was very polite. Going with the recommended solution save me $$ as he was able to provide a cost effective way to solve our issue.

Mike is amazing! I have hired him twice - once to retrieve all of the data off of a completely dead hard drive that we thought we'd lost everything from (years and years of data and photos that of course we didn't back up) and he miraculously fixed the entire thing and retrieved every stitch of data within a few hours. Second, he came and serviced all of our computers which were running slowly and helped transfer a boatload of data among the machines. He's incredible at what he does, a true professional, I will never call another computer professional aside from Mike and cannot recommend him highly enough.

During a previous service call to repair my desktop pc Mike had advised me on the purchase of a new laptop, and when it arrived I called him to get it up and running. He came at the agreed up time and estimated that it would take two hours to complete the job. It took exactly that long. I especially liked that he recommended what security and backup software I should install, explained why, and did the downloads. The cost was well worth it -- I wanted it done right and could never have figured it out myself.

My computer crashed and he was able to get it working again. It is an old Dell system. (I plan to purchase another and he will be the person to install it)

Took 36 hours, virus isolated. Quite satisfied.

Mike was very courteous & professional. My laptop was ,basically, unusable. Mike removed Viruses & malware & also replaced my broken DVD burner! HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!

The gentleman was on time. He made a house call from another borough. He charged me exactly what he quoted me. He fixed my computer problem. He gave me a 10 % discount because I found him on Angie's List.

Mike -- whose services I've been using for about 10 years -- was (as always) prompt, even on what turned out to be the hottest day in this excruciating heatwave. He was able not only to sync my needed files from my desktop to my new laptop, but he was able to make Windows 8 more comprehensible and user-friendly...all of which, to me, was a miracle, as is everything he does. I've grown accustomed, however -- although not at all jaded -- to the miracles Mike performs. He's reliable, prompt, courteous, accommodating, incredibly knowledgeable, and he really cares about his clients. In other words, simply the best! It's a huge load off my mind knowing that Mike is available to call upon if I'm having any kind of computer problem, concern or question.

Mike ran a series of tests to get to the route of the problem. He performed some updates and also walked me through a number of things that I could do at home on my own to alleviate future problems. He was extremely thorough and did an excellent job of following up. I've called on him several times over the years when I've had problems with my computers and his response and service is always top notch. I highly recommend Brooklyn PC Clinic.

Mike Jonas has performed computer work for myself, my brother and my mother for the last decade. He is unfailingly efficient, knowledgeable, punctual, honest and courteous. He is a true professional and I have recommended him numerous times already.

They did a fine job. He was responsive and quick. I liked his timeliness. It’s not so easy to park in his area but he was pretty accommodating to help us get the equipment in and out of his workspace.
