Description of Work: The circuit breaker kept clicking off to our basement. The electrician came and checked out the electrical connections. It was a light bulb that had become disconnected from the base and kept shorting out.

Description of Work: Con Edison had an electrical issue with us and so Blaze Electric had to perform a "Round About" so the house had electricity while the work was being done. They made the corrections in a timely manner. They even filed with Con Edison for us. They were terrific and I can't remember the cost but I do know it was reasonable.

Description of Work: The week before Christmas our dining room chandelier with LED bulbs began flickering. We knew it would be hard to get it fixed in time, and sure enough, our regular electrician couldn't come till after the holiday. We got the name of Blaze Electric through Angie's List. They called right back--on a weekend--and came out that Monday. They identified that the rotary switch was not right for LED lights, bought a new one, and fixed it. The technicians were personable and efficient. We will absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: replaced a bathroom exhaust fan. Took me to Home Depot to get proper fan. Installation went well.

Description of Work: I had a few electrical issues for them to take care of including installing a porch light, replacing a ceiling bathroom fixture, and replacing a bedroom ceiling fan. They did an excellent job and I would definitely call on them for any electrical jobs in the future.

Description of Work: I fixed a breaker on the fuze box and replaced a dimmer in my bathroom the second time I called which cost 180. I called a day before and got charged 150 plus tax for something they said it depends where I land on the grid for me to get a short on my hi hats in the kitchen

Description of Work: They installed a new dimmer switch for my dining room chandelier & trouble shot why my under-kitchen-cabinet lights don't work. (They discovered that the transformer needs to be replaced, but since I could not find the replacement light bulbs anywhere, I didn't engage Blaze to work further. I just bought cheap plastic LED "tap-on, tap-off" lights that I installed myself.)

Description of Work: Changed burned out wires in 3 recessed ceiling lights, ensured wiring in 4th was ok, changed burned wires in in-wall socket. They did just what I needed them to do. No fuss, no muss. I was pleased with their service. I had no comparison price point.

Description of Work: Electric off in two rooms, found problem right away - faulty outlet, actually caught on fire while he was here, taken care of, replaced and has been working great ever since. Was impressed that they made sure it was just the outlet and not further into the wall - like wiring - which would have been a bigger job. Very honest and respectful people.

Description of Work: The electrician that came made an inordinately large hole in my wall. |I thusly needed additional services (from another vendor) to repair my wall. That is why this vendor received a low score on "Quality" of work.

Description of Work: They could not help me because of the type of problem we hand. This company was quite helpful in pointing me in the right direction and narrowing down my search and I appreciate that.

Description of Work: I called because of a problem with my ceiling fan. Frank and James came within a half hour of calling. They were professional and found the problem (the remote receiver in the ceiling stopped working), and set it so I could use the fan manually until I get a new remote. I thought the price was a little high for twenty minutes of service, but overall I would use them again.
