My experience with them was positive. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable. It was fairly a reasonable price. He worked in all day, because the cabinet was small and he had difficulty in replacing the switch boxes. He cleaned up the place after the work was done. He really worked hard to get it all in. The quality of work was really good.

The gentleman from Blaze as always was very professional, courteous, and timely. He has done a lot of work for me in the past and is quick and knows what he is doing. I called them to schedule and the lady answering the phone was so polite i forgot i was calling in NYC! The owner called me back within minutes to schedule the appointment the week after. The only thing i was thrilled about is the price - $125 to replace a single light fixture (it took him like 15 minutes) is a bit too much even for NYC in my opinion (ps. i didnt get a estimate in advance and in hind sight i would have asked my handy man to do it if i knew how expensive it would be)

The owner returned by call within a half hour and offered to send someone over the next day. Mike showed up on time, was very professional, friendly and courteous. He completed the work quickly and well. I will need some other work done (ceiling fans installed and light fixtures replaced) and I will absolutely request his services again.

They did a good job and were very helpful. They focused on the problem and let us know what we could do about it. They didn't try to expand on it, and even though it's a historic building they didn't try to do more than they needed to.

Blaze set up an appointment immediately, arrived on time and reworked the wiring in a few hours. We happened to have another (very heavy) delivery while our Blaze guy was there and he gladly helped us carry the delivery up the stairs- certainly not part of an electrician's job description. Would certainly use again.

I was amazed at the short time between my initial call and the arrival of the technician, about half an hour on a Friday afternoon. The tech worked rapidly and thoroughly, checking out each of five or six kitchen outlets for defects. The short had burnt some of the cable connecting to the outlet, so the tech had to install a jumper to make a safe connection; it wasn't a simple matter of replacing the outlet and he had a very small space to work in, considering he couldn't open the wall to do the work.

Excellent service. I left a message and heard back very quickly and set up an appointment the next morning. The owner came and not only replaced my dimmer but gave me lots of helpful information and answered all my questions. He even called a colleague to to make sure he gave me the best answer to one of my questions.

It went fine. The problem arose in the middle of the night and they say they're open 24 hours, so I called, but had to leave a message, which was a little frustrating. He didn't call me back till 8:30 the next morning and came quickly that day to fix the problem. I had no problem with his efficiency or effectiveness.

We had put off this work for over a year because hiring an electrician is a nerve-racking experience. Frank came to give us an estimate the day after we called. He was very professional and none of the work fazed him. The electrician he sent was very pleasant, friendly and neat. The work was estimated to be a full days' worth but he had some trouble drilling into the basement for the outdoor outlet. He came back and finished the job the next day, although he came later than he said. I have already recommended Blaze to a friend.

Frank was nice to talk to and very response in setting up the appointment. The guy came right at 8am as promised and was very courteous and got a hard job done well. Although it took a while to get the job done he cleaned up after himself (but since he is charging you for that time I am not sure that's a good idea). I completely trusted them.

I live upstate so all transactions were over the phone by credit card. Went to access the work in a timely fashion. Worked with me and a tenant to gain access. Did the work at the appointed time and day. Very easy to work with.

When I called the company, I spoke with an older man, who was very friendly and inspired confidence in me immediately. Unfortunately, he did not show up personally to do the work. Instead, two very young men arrived. My husband and I had not bothered to buy a dimmer switch, because in my husband's experience, electricians usually carry dimmer switches among the supplies in their trucks. However, these guys did not have a dimmer switch, and were surprised that we expected them to have one. My husband was irritated that they didn't have one, and that they did not offer to go get one at Lowe's or Home Depot, which are a 5-min drive away. Instead, he had to get a cab (like most city-dwellers, we don't have a car) to go to Lowe's and buy one, then hire another cab to return. The guys were rudely impatient for him to return. One guy appeared to do nothing but stand around while the other worked. In summary: They did a fine job with the installation, but their attitude was seriously lacking.

He rewired one double switch in a group of 5 that I had unsuccessfully replaced. After he left, the switch was found to be working but the levers were upside down. He returned immediately when notified by cell phone and reinstalled.

I thought it was a little weird that they made us go to the hardware store and buy low voltage outdoor wire, but we needed to buy the bulbs anyway. Overall, the job was well done and the lights are beautiful.

I was very pleased with the high quality of work performed by Blaze Electric. The prices after having looked around, I found to be the best, it was very easy to book them to come and do the work. They were right on time and very professional.

Service was extremely prompt (within about 30 minutes of my call) and very friendly. I did not ask for an estimate and the end price seemed a bit high, but I have nothing to compare it with, and the service was so prompt and efficient and pleasant and I was so relieved to have the job over with so quickly that I'm very happy with the overall experience.

On a Sunday evening in December, the electricity went ''out'' in my brownstone apartment in Cobble Hill. I trudged to the basement to the fuse box only to find the fuse had NOT blown. Uh oh. I got out the Yellow Pages and called the first advertisement that I saw that had emergency service, 24/7. That was Blaze Electric, Inc. located on 5th Av. in Brooklyn. My call was promptly answered at 6 PM or so and I was assured a technician would arrive within the hour. The technician did arrive within an hour and spent the better part of two hours attempting to find the source of the problem. The gentleman could not have been more thorough, professional, and candid about the problem. He did NOT find the source of the outage that evening. However, his boss came over the next day calling a half an hour before the arranged time to meet to tell me that he would be late by half an hour or so. He (Frank) was equally courteous and professional and found the source of the problem. EXCELLENT!

IT WAS GOOD. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE ALSO COURTEOUS. THERE WAS NO NEED TO CALL THEM BACK. IT WAS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. IT WAS ABOUT 40 MINUTES AWAY. IT WAS CLOSE TO THE VERY BEST PRICE.
