They are very good, clean, reliable, and professional. They are a little expensive, but the price is worth.

It was a very good experience. They gave me an estimate and the following week I called them to do the job. They were on time, and they were done in about 6 hours, which was exactly what they had estimated it would take. There were no surprises, and they even fixed a faulty outlet in one of the bedrooms at no extra charge (that was not in the original proposal).

It worked out fine. I have had them a couple of times. Everything worked out very good. They were on time, I like that they are in the neighborhood. I will call them in the future if I need them. They did quite a bit of wiring in this old house.

They originally bid two possible jobs for us: a complete rewiring of our 1910 2-story brownstone and an upgrade to the existing wiring. We had another contractor do the latter, but had Blaze do the panel, as this was this toughest part of the job. Other than hanging the panel about an eighth inch too close to an old fixture, making the door a bit difficult to open and shut, the job was done well. They were prompt, came on a couple of day's notice and were efficient.

The experience was outstanding from start to finish. Working with an old house they had to run new lines from the outlets to the fusebox in the basement. Their work was clean, they only cut several 1 foot wide holes (easily patched) in the sheetrock in order to run the lines. The job took the whole day but in the end my second floor can now handle all the electronics a normal household has in this day and age.

There wasn?t anything that I disliked. They came out for the estimate and I called a week later to tell them that they had the job, so they came out the next day. It took two men two days to do the job. The workers were pleasant and they kept me informed about what was happening.

The person that came did not install a satisfactory device. He tried to charge for a larger job than was necessary.

The guy was very nice and knowledgable but the price as way too high. Didnt seem like he wanted to do a visibly asthetic job. He just wanted to do the job as fast as posible by exposing the path of the wiring instead of hiding it in the wall like it should be.

Blaze Electric did a great job from start to finish. First, they were able get a repairman to house within a couple of days, and when he came to take a look (very punctual and professional young man), he came prepared to do the work right then and there. The price was good for the amount on time spent, the jobs accomplished, and the quality of work, including clean-up. They even provided a first-time customer discount on labor that I wasn't expecting. I will definitely call them again if and when I need electrical help in the future.

It went extremely well. The young man,Mike, was very knowledgable. The conversation was good, it made the work go easy. We had a political discussion. It was a pleasure to have him here. He can probably do this in his sleep. He was excellent at cleaning up after himself. They gave me a three month written guarantee. Mike was a breath of fresh air. He also warned me that my current circuit breaker switch box needed to be replaced because it was a fire hazard. I have a cat, he was allergic but powered through and never complained.

They did great work, I was really pleased. They did half of it one day and had to come back the next day to finish up. They were prompt, they were quick. They worked very efficiently. They did the job, I've had no problem since then. I thought the price was expensive but I think it was probably average for what other electricians would have been charging.

They are very good and I highly recommend them. They are really nice. They haven?t yet done any work for us. They have given us huge and complex estimates so far. They give pretty good guarantees like paying after the city inspection, paying a bit less or paying a part of the bill. So it gives you pretty good assurance. They have always come on time. It?s an ongoing process pretty much. I did read the reviews they had online. Their last quote was about half of the price that other people quoted and it was about $3500. The owner usually comes out along with one of his electricians, but we dealt with the actual owner during our last interaction. He also answered the questions we had. I haven?t yet seen their work, but their price is good.

Called to request an outlet in the garage. Thought it would be a small job, as there was already a light and a junction box in there. Got a service person (Steve) who came in the evening (thank you! hard to be home during the day,) saw I wanted to hook up a fridge, convinced me (appropriately, i think) that this deserved its own breaker. I asked about installing a light switch in the laundry room, gave me a quote on this too. The total cost seemed a bit steep to me, but this is my first electrician in NYC. Steve came two nights later, as promised, with an assistant. The job took a bit longer than he estimated, but he honored the original quote. The work looks good to me - it involved drilling through cinderblock, which could make quite a mess, but they left the place cleaner than they found it. All in all, if I need more electrical work, I'll start by calling Steve (718) 812-3008, or the office of Blaze Electric.

I obtained the name of this electrical contractor from Angie's list. The owner called back right away to set up the appointment. A very nice estimator arrived at the scheduled time to assess the job. The company faxed a detailed written estimate the next work day. It was a close call, but In the end, I selected a contractor who had prior experience working with my co-op.

Frank at Blaze Electric got back to my call very quickly and sent someone over to give us a bid. The bid was within our budget for the work. KeShawn came to do the work on time, worked efficiently, and was very friendly. We will definitely use them again.

Fabulously. If you live in their area, use them. They have the proper insurance, amount of people, responsiveness, etc.

I called about four different electricians. Frank seemed a little rough around the edges at first but he came right away, seemed to know what he was talking about and his price was very good. My final decision was made when I read the reviews on Angie's List. He replaced my two old panels with one new Murray panel. All the other electricians said they woould have to cut a hole in my wood paneling. Frank got a box that fit in the existing opening. He also had a new ground to my water pipe installed, which had been cut many years ago. I didn't realize that it was not good to be without a ground. Frank didn't do the job himself but he sent a very capable and polite young man who knew just what to do. Frank did come back and forth to supervise the job. When the job was done, the young man cleaned the mess up and I was very pleased. I made the right choice once again by reading Angie List recconmendations.

It was fine. It was a little more expensive than I thought it was going to be, but they showed up, did the work, and were pleasant to deal with.

He was a little harsh on the phone. He told me they didn't fix fans. They were overly abbrupt. He didn't offer to help me find someone who could help me.

Fine. There was some problem with the ground since the connection is not close to the water main, but they checked with the city regulations & installed a new ground next to the connection.

Frank gave me the best price (of the two electricians I called). The electrician he sent arrived promptly, finished the job and the estimate was right on.

Frank was very friendly, responsive, and professional from our first dealings with him. He worked with our timeline and gave us what I thought was a very fair price for the work his electricians performed. The two men who completed the work were also very professional, and the quality of the work was very high. We ended up adding some jobs while they were on-site, and they got us an instant quote for the additional work and were very flexible about accommodating our needs. They even cleaned up after themselves when the work was complete. We had nothing but a pleasant experience with them and we plan to use them again for some upcoming electrical work during the renovation of our kitchen.

I know nothing about electrical work and was concerned that I could start a fire. I live in an apt and rent, so I called this vendor. The answering service took my information and I received a call back within 3 minutes from the owner of the company who calmed me down! He sent out Keshad - quiet guy, very efficient - who changed the outlet for me very quickly. He also scraped off some residue from the AC plug where it got stuck in the fried outlet. We took it for a test-drive once he was finished and now the AC plug is actually tight against the outlet. (I would have problems previously because the connections were loose.) Overall, from the time I called to the time I received service, it was about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Not bad for a last-minute call in. I think the cost from anyone would have been pricey as it was last minute and it IS electrical work. I do need my AC in this July 2010 heatwave we're having in NYC.
