Great communication, fast appointment set, and punctual arrival. Checked out if I had any electrical issues (leakage, power fluctuations...). He couldn't detect any power fluctuations in a short amount of time, and it requires investigating in another level (con edison). By performing this service, it gave me a bit of a piece of mind.

I called Blaze and got someone on the phone right away. I was told I'd have an electrician with an hour or so. Within an hour an electrician was at my home. He was courteous, he did the job, he accepted my Angie's List coupon and was gone in less that half an hour. THAT'S my kind of service.

All good. Simple and satisfying as household repair narratives go. Electrician was in and out in 20 minutes.

Blaze responded to an emergency call at 4:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, had an electrician to my house within an hour, and the problem was fixed. Just what I needed.

It all went very well. Blaze Electric came over in an emergency situation while my new counters were being installed. They were very professional and I am very happy with their work. They replaced 3 wall mounted outlet boxes in the kitchen, repaired old BX cables. Installed a GFCI receptacle near the sink. Good job. I will use them again. It is so hard to find good people.

Got in touch with the owner who put me in contact with a employee who works in my area. 20 minutes later a west indian guy called me with a thick accent and said he could come out Sunday morning to give me a quote being that he'd be in my area. I asked if he was sure if Sunday was good. He said no problem. I cancelled all my errands for that day. The electrician was a no call no show. I texted the owner just that and said I was moving on and 2 minutes later the west indian guy calls yelling that he never told me Sunday he said Monday. I told him that thats not true. He offered to come out then at 7:00pm. Instead of argueing with him I told him I don't have to give you my business and if this is the level of professionalism of your company I'm moving on despite the positiive feedback.

Good...on-time, knowledgeable, personable...didn't mind the personal call that was taken for about 10min's but others might...was working while talking so I didn't mind...

the owner came and gave an estimate and the crew came on the appointed date and time, performed the work as agreed upon and the total cost was as quoted. I was happy with this company and would definitely use them again.

Frank, the owner, was great from the start. He honored a coupon that had just expired the prior week and he kept in touch with me until we found a mutually convenient time for both the inspection and subsequent work to be done. He sent Keeshad for the home inspection. I then decided that I all I needed at the moment was to replace 3 switches and he sent Keeshad again to do that. Great communication re timing. Keeshad was very nice, worked quickly, and did a great job. I'm very happy. Even though this was a small job, I was never made to feel that it wasn't important to them.

I had bought the Big Deal coupon for a whole-house electrical inspection, and (typically) waited until the very last minute (the day before expiration) to schedule it. Frank was great about working me into their schedule even though the appointment ended up being past the expiration date of the coupon. Keshawn showed up right on time, gave my house the once-over, we talked through some minor projects that I needed done, and he told me I'd get a proposal within a couple of days -- which I did! I needed an exhaust fan in a bathroom replaced, a bit of conduit run from one electric panel to another, the front door panel replaced for the doorbells to four floors, and a toggle replaced in another bathroom. The guys came and did the work (again, right on time), and it was discovered that the toggle switch wasn't the problem -- yet another exhaust fan had to be replaced. The guys called Frank, told me what it would cost, and offered to go out and get the new fan, return and install it right away -- which they did. Everything was done within about three hours, all the debris cleaned up, and all in good working order. I'd easily recommend Blaze Electric to anyone.

The work took two days but the electricians came on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They also secured the appropriate permits from the buildings department and were there when the city inspector came to check out the work.

Purchased a Big Deal on Angie's List. 2 people came. He looked at the house, asked what he needed to do. I asked him to check the house for rewiring.

I called Friday 12/7/12 to schedule an estimate and Frank came out to on Monday 12/10 and was doing the work the very next day. His guys were absolute professionals. We live in a prewar building and were very concerned that the ceiling light instillation was going to take down all the plaster. Not only were they super responsive to our concern, but they were able to do the job without a single knick, scratch, or crack. The wiring is also super old and they were able to get the new fixtures in without having to rewire the whole thing. Best of all, they cleaned up after themselves. They actually took out my vacuum cleaner and vacuumed my floor. I was so pleased with them that I will never use anyone else ever again and I would recommend them to everyone!

Working with this company was an absolute pleasure. The two electricians who came arrived on time and were fully equipped to do the job. They were clear experts, worked quickly and neatly, and got the job done in no time. They were also delightfully funny. I recommend Blaze Electric wholeheartedly and enthusiastically and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The technician came to our apartment a month ago to install the new fixture. Unfortunately I never fully checked the box and most of the glass was pulverized. The technician didn't charge us and even took a look at a few other things in the apartment and advised us on those other issues. The next time the technician arrived I had received the replacement glass. Although he was there towards the end of the time window I was given he was nothing but professional. He installed a very heavy and fragile light fixture by himself and did an amazing job. The fixture looks great and he even cleaned off all the fingerprints with windex before leaving. I would definitely use these guys again.

I looked them up and then called them. They came out on the scheduled date. They were on time. They put the lights in and it only took about 3 hours. I am going to use them again.

I was immediately disrespected in just inquiring about their service. I live in Far Rockaway and in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I reached out to this company for electrical service. I was told that they would not come out to Far Rockaway because people in Brooklyn needed their help more. What an attitude to have in such a time of crisis.

I tried to get them to come out and do the work, they never contacted me back.

They did not clean up 100% percent. But the work looked like it was neatly done. The only thing is that when the inspectors came it did not pass the inspection the first time. They came back the second time with the inspectors and it seemed to pass the inspection. I am yet to get anything in writing yet about passing the inspection though. We believe it would be a higher grade when the work is completed.
