+ 3 moreRafael is the owner (Anthony is his son:). Rafael and his crew were on time every day. Their skills were very impressive, I think he is a very experienced mason. To work with old irregular stones is significantly more difficult than new pavers. The new patio is beautiful. Rafael followed a drawing with us, and created a curved CMU retaining wall, and two other strait walls. We are anticipating having him back to install 10 ft monolithic steps (4 total!), and bluestone coping on top of the walls in a few weeks.
Description of Work: Relayed excavated old thick bluestone paving with gravel drainage and grading. Built retaining walls. Re-pointed small brick wall in mud room, reinforced window openings with angle iron and set in glass block. Laid existing salvage brick in herringbone pattern on floor.
