They came very promptly after my call, and performed the work the following day. Considering that this is a very dirty job, the workman were very considerate and careful. I could not be happier with the results.

Friendly customer service from the start of my phone call to them.  I had a sewer camera inspection and we saw something blocking up my sewer.  They jetted and cleaned it out.  Fast and on time.  Will definitely use them for my other properties.

Excellent service from Alex Figliolia Water and Sewer Llc.
We noticed a leak at the front of our basement. Called the DEPand they issued us with a 3 day notice (these leaks can cause sinkholes if not addressed in a timely manner). We asked for an extension while we searched for an external plumber. Met with several and narrowed it down to two vendors - Figliolia and Harris. Both had really nice and helpful guys representing them. We chose Figliolia as Andrew, their salesman, visited us a few times over a holiday weekend (but I'm sure Harris would also have been great - their guy Brett was super helpful).
Andrew from Figliolia answered our endless questions, always answered the phone and honored his word throughout - he seemed to work 24/7 - they also offered the best price. On the day, four guys arrived and worked for 13 hours straight. They were professional, courteous and efficient. The following day a different team returned to fill in the hole and tidy everything up.
I should also add that the ladies in the office (I mostly spoke w/Kat) were very diligent and pleasant.
Thanks to the Figliolia team!

These guys came recommended from a contractor who personally used them in the past. They came and examined the situation, gave me an estimate and a contract for a one day job. They handles all the paperwork filing and permits prior to the scheduled appointment. On the day three men came, blocked off the roadway and began digging. They worked all throughout the day, removed the old lead pipe, connected the new 1.5 inch copper pipe, and tested the water. The boss came at the end of the day to see if there were any questions and to inspect that the job was done right. Couldn't have been happier with the efficiency and amount of care used to fix the issue.

I recently hired Alex Figliolia Water and Sewer after receiving a 3 day notice from the DEP. My water main broke and had three days to fix it or else the city was going to shut off my water. Found them off of google and they sent a foreman immediately that day to provide estimates. Other companies never called me back or didn't have the time right away to come. They were professional, courteous and completed the entire job very quickly. CLeaned up what they dug up and patched everything neatly. Everyone from the receptionist to the workers were great! Highly recommended!!

Let's just say I wll never ever use them again and will never recommend them to anyone. They are unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. The only professionals were the workers.

My 4 day broken sewer line repair revealed an unknown problem with my old lead water main. My hook up to the NYC main is across 4 lanes of traffic and under a bus stop. It took 3 weeks and left a mess . My lawn is now a patch of dirt and large rocky boulders. I have water but my pressure seems to have gotten worse. And my sewer is replaced. I felt that the price was high and was annoyed by the duration of the job. However some of the delays were out of the companies hand. They had to wait for the DOT to approve the bus stop work and it rained 2 days. They did the work they said and the price was the price. Other than the add on of the lead water main replace, I did not feel they were and quot;hard sellingand quot; me. I asked if they would do an additional job. The job involved digging out a 3 by 18 foot patch of my lawn adjacent to where thy were working and just putting cement there. They gave me an absurd estimate of $25,000. I did not have this additional work done.

After a water leak was found in the street, we had a 3-day notice from the city to fix it. Not only was Figliola's bid to fix the sprinkler pipe was lower, they seemed knowledgeable about permits and materials. The repair involved opening everything from the basement through a cement floor under the stoop out to the middle of the street. Luckily the street had just been milled for repaving, but that also meant we had to work fast.
The Figliola crew was hardworking, friendly, and experienced. They explained every development and were happy to let me take pictures of every pipe and valve. When the sprinkler problem was resolved, Andrew, the estimator, invited me to watch a live scope of the sewer line. Sadly, there were problems there too that even I could see. Because the openings had already been done, they reduced the cost of the next stage by $2,000. They explained the choices they were making, esp. the advantages of the new pipe (no breaks, no roots growing in.) Again the crew worked non-stop, one night until 9 pm, because the city, with whom they were in touch, was ready to repave.
The only snag was when the crew cleared out the space under the stoop, and instead of putting it where we asked, piled boxes and bicycles on top of a lushly blooming flower bed. The lesson here is to communicate clearly and check in frequently.
All in all, Figliola, esp. Andrew, turned a shocking, expensive reality into a hopeful one.

They did a pretty good job. It's expensive but I guess for the going rate for a job like that, it's probably reasonable.

Dealing with the estimate, there was some issue from my point of view; they were fair about the cellar work but, in my opinion, overly pushed the outside work - we'd had 2 other sewer people who had disagreed and had said it did not need to be done at this point. This nearly killed the job as it was uncomfortable to move ahead, but the issue was resolved/dropped.
That said, they did a good, efficient job with the cellar work. They came within a few days of signing the contract, came on time, their workers were pleasant, professional and efficient. They cleaned up the mess well. Two thumbs up.
6 months later, no problems in the cellar or outside downspout, so it all seems to be good.

They were on Angie's List. I would recommend them to other members. When they came, they did what they were going to do. Their price was awesome. I made a lot of comparison of prices. They did an excellent job. I am very satisfied. They put in the best material possible. They did not mess around. They came in good equipment.
