ACME SEWER

Service date was confirmed for morning of 4/27/2010 to install Bathroom faucet. I wanted a different look and style. Plumber did not show or call to cxl appointment. I contacted the office twice. Then at 4pm in the afternoon I received a call from employee that he would not be able to come put promised he would show the next morning at 9am to install Bathroom faucet. The plumber showed the next morning 10am. I had bought the new faucet earlier and had it in my possesion. Installation took two and a half hours. I live in a new complex which is only 4 years old. I was surprised when the plumber advised me that my drain was clogged. This was perplexing especially since my water was going down the drain nicely. I agreed to the plunger proceedure since I felt its better to be safe than sorry. When the job was completed and I was handed the bill I was shocked. I explained this was not the price. I was then informed that new cables to make the hook up was used and the clearing of the drain is expensive. At this point I had no reason to doubt him. Later same evening I was speaking to my neighbor who recently had his Bathroom faucet change by a licensed plumber. You guessed it, I was nitwited. To add insult to injury I paid for 1 years insurance on my drains which cost me another 125.00. I was told by this plumber that its common for my type of drains to clog easily. He also stated that when my drains clog again within the year they will come at no additional charge to me. On my receipt it stated sold contract. Lets wait and see. My total cost came to $550.00 not counting the price of the faucet.

I HAVE USED ACME FOR VARIOUS PLUMBING NEEDS OVER THE YEARS AND I TURN TO THEM WHEN MY DRAIN GETS CLOGGED. I LIKE KNOWING THAT ACME WILL COME OUT, OFTEN THE SAME DAY, TO RESTORE THE FLOW TO MY DRAIN. ACME ALWAYS SOLVES MY PLUMBING PROBLEMS.
