A Real Good Plumber was responsive, punctual, professional, and polite. Really lovely working with them. But the cost felt prohibitive for anything other than major projects. Even the guy who came to do the work recommended that we do it ourselves next time to save $. I appreciate the honesty! I will say that our building has used them in the past for larger projects and was satisfied. For larger projects, I would definitely hire again.

I thought I could fix anything. Obviously I couldn't and the leak under my toilet was just making bigger puddles! I called A Real Good Plumber and they immediately diagnosed the issue as an old, leaky ring that needed replacing. They had the part right on site and replaced it super fast. I was getting ready to pay for the service and the plumber stopped me and said he wanted to double check the pricing sheet. Turns out he saved me about $100. Many, many thanks!

My toilet is always clogged. It gets frustrated when this keeps happening and I have to always have to unclog it by plunging. Even though I keep doing this, it still keeps on clogging after a few days. I knew I had to call Plumbing Company to get this fixed up. The A Real Good Plumber, Inc was tremendous and probably one of the best and most experienced plumber in Brooklyn. They were quick to respond and their services were affordable. My toilet is clogged free for weeks now and hopefully for months to come. Thank you to A Real Good Plumber, Inc.

I have old plumbing and he had to make a part for it. He also fixed all the violations he found. He is very reasonable and pricing is straight forward. I left price as N/A because because I didn't get any other estimates.

There was a leak in my ceiling and I called them. It was just before 4:30 PM and they said they could send someone the next day. I questioned their claim of 24 hour service and, after putting me on hold several times, the dispatcher put me through to a plumber.. He told me that he could come out that evening, but it would cost an extra $125 for the service fee. To their credit, I had no idea where the leak was coming from - it could have been a pipe in my ceiling -- and he explained that if he needed an odd part, he would be unable to get it as all the suppliers would be closed at night. With that information, I decided to wait until the next day. They came as promised and quickly determined it was a broken pipe under my upstairs neighbor's kitchen sink. They fixed it but charged an outrageously high fee of $300. They were reliable and did the job correctly, but I do not think it was a fair price.

I spent $1900 on that work and it was great. They are really good and I have used them for a lot of stuff. I think that they are very efficient and they know what they are doing. They took a whole wall apart and within two hours they put it all back together again and they took the tile out and everything. They were very good and professional. Their prices are not cheap.

They did a great job. My only concern is the price. Installation cost more than the dishwasher itself.

These guys are fabulous. In the past, they repaired a leaky faucet. But more recently, our 2 year old threw something into the toilet which completely jammed the system. The folks at A Real Good Plumber came out immediately to attempt to retrieve the item and fix the toilet. Unfortunately the item could not be dislodged from the toilet, so they replaced it the next day. All of this was done with calm and class, and without excessive cost.

They were very nice. The person who came out was very fair, he came out on time. They were reasonable. The leak has been fixed and I never had any problems since then. He was neat and cleaned up his mess.

The plumber who came over was nice. I'm not so sure about the company. I felt I was trapped by them. We sent them away due to their prices. We would have spent $1,000 on what should have been a $300 job had we gone with this company.

I have used this company for years, however I will never use them again. They have gone downhill. They are extremely expensive and lately the work has either been shoddy or incomplete. I have had to have them return several times to complete the work because they are not doing the job properly.

I use them on a regular basis. I could not be happier.

The plumbers arrived promptly, surveyed the situation, left to buy parts for the toilet and the shower, and returned. They soon "fixed" the shower and the toilet. However, when we used the toilet (as opposed to merely test-flushing it) we discovered it has only a weak flush. It now takes two flushes to empty and needs to be scrubbed with a brush after every serious use. (This is an expensive skirt model that used to self-clean on every flush). And often the toilet handle doesn't automatically return to the horizontal position so that runs and runs--but not the same problem they fixed. The shower works well, although their solution was to add a second control without removing the old one, which is confusing and inelegant. The work was very expensive, which we wouldn't have minded if the work had been good. But the work on the toilet was terrible, in a way that we couldn't have discovered without using the toilet for a day or two.

Leaks were fixed efficiently and cost about $250; garbage disposer took longer than expected, and originally the company wanted to charge $1000 but eventually went down to $750 (the disposer cost less than $350). Overall, this company was expensive considering the work that was required.

The company provided a prompt visit by a qualified plumber who wrote up a formal estimate. Once we decided to have the work done (a week later), within two days of a holiday weekend they dispatched a plumber who brought in the new toilet and spent several hours on the installation. Things worked fine after the install, but they sent the plumber back the following day to replace a part that was not perfect as they wanted to get the job done correctly.

They did not give me an estimate until they looked at the job, even though it is a pretty standard job. They wanted more than $500. Outrageous. I tried to negotiate and they only came down to $480!! The appliance delivery man did it for $150 instead.

I called needing a valve installed on my washer/dryer and the receptionist was very unhelpful and not qualified to answer my questions. She told me it would be $350 for a valve and that's all they could do. I would not recommend this company unless you know exactly what you need done.

THIS COMPANY REALLY HAS NOTHING, BUT REALLY GOOD PLUMBERS. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO ALL MY FRIENDS. THEY ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE.

THE PLUMBER WAS A VERY NICE GUY AND HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THE BATHTUB. HE SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. HE WAS FINISHED IN A FEW HOURS.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEIR PRICE IS AVERAGE. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK. THE GOOD THING IS THEY FIXED THE LEAK. OVERALL THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

IT WAS OKAY. I DID LIKE THE WORK THEY DID. IT DID TAKE THEM A LITTLE WHILE TO GET OUT HERE TO ACTUALLY DO THE WORK. WHEN THEY GOT HERE, THEY GOT THE WORK DONE VERY QUICKLY AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB WITH IT.
