A Drori and Sons

It it not easy to find people who really know furniture repair and do it excellently. I am so pleased to continue given all my furniture repairs and upholstery to Drori. They are personable, reliable and punctual. Really superb!

I explained the problem: a sagging sofa and armchair. Matthew cane to personally look at them. He said all they needed was to have the springs re-tied and put new webbing on underneath. He said this would cost $500. He and his father Alex came to my home. They did not re-tie any springs. They simply removed the thin cloth under each unit, leaving staples all over my home, and stapled mew webbing on top of the old webbing. This did nothing to fix the problem. When I complained, Alex came to my home again and said that to fix the problem I needed to pay to reupholster both pieces of furniture to add padding on the deck of each unit. In short, they lied about how to fix the furniture, charged me $500 to do only part of the work they promised to do, knowing it would not fix the problem. I asked them to fix and the furniture is still in the same condition as when I started. Do not use them. They will totally rip you off!

Matthew Drori and his dad did an excellent job refinishing my desk and repairing a broken desk drawer (this is a vintage handmade desk put together with dowels instead of nails, so this was a challenging project that they handled very well). They also did a fine job refinishing and reupholstering an antique carved piano bench. They also put new sliders on the bottom of the legs of my dining room chairs.

These guys are great at what they do, fast, clean and very reasonably priced. Not only I hired them again for a different job, but will highly recommend them to anybody with all sorts of big and small assignments. They are also so pleasant to deal with!

Best refinishing job I've ever seen. Pleasant and engaging personalties come with this 3 generations of wood workers who know their craft. Jonathan refinished a 40" x 90" table and it looked stunning when he complete the work. I can't say enough good things about A. Drori & Sons - Hire them! They are the best.

Hire them! This is father & son business, they know their craft and were responsive and responsible. We had several old pieces which were nothing fancy but needed refurbishing and now look like new.

They did an excellent job apart form leaving some dirty on the carpet which could have been avoids if they had a clean drop class which was probably the reason I had to have the carpet vacuumed. Other than that the service was excellent.
