After we signed a contract with Lenny on April 8th he only showed up to work in our house 10 x the most in 4 months for about 2-3 hours a day(if that long). We tried calling him and texting him to find out what was going on with the repairs he would not call os or text us back. After being ignored by Lenny for a over 2-3 weeks we went to the media, NY1 has done a story on our situation. The NY1 reporter called Lenny from our house and asked him why he wasn't honoring his contract with us. He told the reporter that he would make contact with us and begin working at our house on a regular basis. WE also had Ch.7 do a story on him and their reporter was told the same thing. WE also contacted Assemblyman Michael Cusicks office for help and they were also told the same lie. My wife and I tried to end our contract so both parties could go our separate ways and we could finally get our home repaired and move back in. He would not return our calls again and reassured us he would come to work. When he did show up to work, his work was unprofessional and shoddy at best. He then contacted us the week of june 7 and told us he was going to make our job his priority as he was getting calls about the situation and didn't want to ruin his reputation(now thats funny). Since June 7th he has been at my house 2x within the last week (july 12-19). His work was shoddy at best as i previously reported. On June 17, 2013 he showed up at 11:30 am to work, at which time i told him we needed to end this situationbecause i could no longer wait for him to finnish his other jobs and the come and finish my home. He said he would call me last nigh(7/18/2013) about returning the balance of my deposit He then called me and told me he was to take ME to court for breach of contract...So i am now in the same position i was after the storm but i am $3,500 short to hire another contractor i hope that nobody would use this man as he is dishonest and very sneaky and most of all VERY UNPROFESSIONAL thank you, robert Smith

THERE WERE MANY DELAYS. THE MEN OFTEN MADE MISTAKES. FOR EXAMPLE: KITCHEN FAUCET WAS INSTALLED BACKWARDS - OUTSIDE DAY/NIGHT LIGHT NEVER WORKED -SCREEN DOOR NOT INSULATED ALLOWING ACCESS FOR MICE - PIPES FOR OUTSIDE WATER SUPPLY WERE CHANGED, LEAKED AGAIN AND NEVER CHANGED. TOILET BACKED UP 4 TIMES. FLOOD DAMAGED DEBRIS REMAINED OUTSIDE FOR 3 WEEKS. LOST BATHROOM SINK PARTS, MEN WERE CONSTANTLY TAKEN OFF THE JOB TO GO ELSEWHERE. TOOK WEEKS TO INSTALL SHOWER AND TWO WEEKS TO CONNECT TOILET, THE ONLY ONE ON THE PREMISES. DESIGNED AND TALKED THE CUSTOMER INTO A CUSTOM VANITY AND NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB. MEASURED THE GLASS FOR THE SINK TOP INCORRECTLY, NEVER RETURNED TO INSTALL THE SINK, THE VANITY, OR THE TOILET PAPER HOLDER, EVEN AFTER CUSTOMER RECEIVED ITEMS AND EVEN WHILE HE COMPLETED ANOTHER COSTLY JOB IN THE SAME BUILDING.
Description of Work: NEW BATHROOM. BASEMENT REPAIR AFTER FLOOD, INCLUDING PAINTING AND BUILDING NEW STORAGE SYSTEM.
