Window King is an A-1 company!! They were a pleasure to deal with from Ron, the Sales Manager who brought a model of the window we ordered and explained how the job would go, to Edgar, the installer. A complete professional and a very pleasant and courteous guy. We have a pretty congested house but the installer, Edgar, worked adroitly around everything and did a superb job. Total cleanup after he finished and hauled away all the refuse leaving the house in perfect shape. Edgar explained all the ins and outs of manipulating the windows for cleaning and air flow. and the new windows look great. I know we're going to save money on our heating bills. This company deserves all the good reviews and recommendations they received on Angie's List. They get my vote whole heartedly.

I called to get a quote and like most window installers, they wanted to set up an appointment at the house. Because I work long hours, I preferred to get a ball-park price over the phone. Nick, the owner, was happy to speak with me and even gave me a verbal price per window, as all my windows are average sized. Knowing that the price was in my range, I set up an appointment for Frank to come by the house. Frank arrived promptly to survey the job. When we talked about pricing, Frank gave me a very aggressive price in order to win my business. I did a lot of research about the windows they were offering (Okna 500 Super Deluxe), and found that they are respected in the industry as being a solid product with excellent energy efficiency ratings. So I decided to go with Window King. The manufacturer finished my windows about 1-3 weeks faster than Frank promised. Tommy and his 2-man crew arrived on installation day and communicated promptly about a traffic delay on the way to the job. Even though they started about 1 hour late, they were able to finish the job the same day. Quality of the installation was very good, except for a couple places where the caulking and capping could have been done more carefully, but this is not noticeable from the street and doesn't seem to affect the weather seal. The windows look great and operate easily. We are looking forward to an increase in energy savings and comfort. Already I can tell that it is not as drafty near my bedroom windows. I would recommend Window King for a quality, affordable window installation.

We needed to replace practically all of our almost 90 year old, original to the house windows. I did a good bit of research about replacement windows, their features, pricing, etc. My research resulted in Okna being amongst the better rated within a certain price range (at least based on what I found on the web). Tri-State was another. Unless you're a Rockefeller, don't bother with Anderson. Yes, the windows are high quality, but they cost double everyone else (and are not twice the quality, despite their chest thumping) and they use sleezy sales tactics (if you sign today, I can take 10% off, but only today; I had to quit working for a competitor because the quality was so bad - that kind of stuff). My web research led me to Window King based on their exclusive with Okna. I met with Frank, who came to my home and couldn't be nicer. He explained the product, demonstrated it, and did not bash any competitor (as the Anderson guy did). We discussed my needs and my budget. These days, everyone touts the triple-pane glass. Even before discussing price, Frank was honest in his assessment that double pane would be sufficient. As I learned from seeing triple-pane glass during my research, they all seem to have a greenish tint and the differences in certain metrics like energy savings, keeping the cold out and the heat in, etc. is negligible. I appreciated his candor. After the initial meeting, when I had another question, rather than respond by email, Frank came to my home, which I thought was above and beyond (though I realize it was part of trying to secure the job, but good for him). Incidentally, I met with a representative from Tri-State, who similarly did not push the triple-pane, and also was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Because both presentations were good and the windows comparable, the decision to go with Window King and Okna was made on price (the difference was enough that the decision was not difficult). We went with the Okna 500 windows. The installers came to measure soon thereafter and the windows were ready around 4-5 weeks later as promised. The windows were installed over two consecutive days. The two installers were friendly, experienced and hard working and I was given a demonstration on how the mechanisms work. They also capped the windows, so our old chipping exterior wood borders are now covered and look great. The only glitch was that two of the windows were not fabricated at the correct size (which thankfully the installer noticed before he removed the old windows) so they needed to be reordered. No big deal, these things happen. When the windows came in a few weeks later, the same installers completed the job. In addition, in the intervening weeks, I had noticed that one of the caps was slightly crooked and while they were there my wife noticed that the calking on a couple of windows could have been neater. Without complaint, the installers remediated. A professional job through and through. One comment that has nothing to do with Window King -- the Okna windows look good, night and day when compared to the old ones. However, the way the Okna windows are manufactured, there is a bit of a groove between the part of the frame touching the glass and the part that secures into the window space. It is the same color white as the rest of the window, but the groove creates shadows that result in a more grayish look in that part of the window when viewed from a distance so it's not a flushed white all around. Others might not notice or care, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Great company ... courteous, responsive, good values. Believes the customer comes first. A family owned company, the salesman was 73 years old .. A charming man working with his own family. The phone people were polite and responsive. The installers were right on time and thorough ... Cleaned up everything. Interesting, They were from Brazil but have been here some time...very nice... a gentleman and his 29 year old nephew. They worked very hard and completed the job in a day and a half... On a lighter note, I noticed the young man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt from Anderson Renewable Windows. The least Window King could do is buy him a Window King sweatshirt ....-:) Great company, I would highly recommend them for window and slider replacement.... I just wish they also did storm doors,,,,

first visit the owner of the company came to take estimate. he was very nice, on-time explained everything in detail. After that someone came to take measurements to order the windows. Although they had said longer time for windows to arrive, it came relatively fast and they called and scheduled for installation. Installation went smooth. Happy with the work. No more drafty windows.

Excellence in Execution. Winters in this part of Throgs Neck are notoriously cold. The proximity of my home to the Long Island Sound makes replacement windows a high priority. As the seasons become more unpredictable (hurricanes, snow and howling winds), windows make a great investment. Window King has become my go to supplier for high quality, energy efficient, double hung. The quality of the windows are unbelievable and the price includes the installation! Nick achieves the right balance of knowledge and salesmanship. He keeps his word and delivers a quality product. My two installers were consummate professionals. The job was done quickly, correctly, and with great attention to detail. Once installed, the temperature within the room remained constant. I actually had to decrease the air conditioner output to account for the windows. The room got too cold and stayed that way. I look forward to purchasing new double hung living room windows from Window King. My daughter finally sleeps through thunderstorms thanks to the new windows. In summary, my house is safer, quieter, and cheaper to heat and cool due to Window King. The difference new windows make is shocking.

Office staff as well as the salesman, measurer and installers were gracious, knowledgable, punctual and professional. They cleanly and expertly installed the basement windows and left no mess behind. The windows are great and have kept my basement much warmer. I highly recommend this company.

I am very pleased with the whole process, from our first telephone call to Window King to having our windows and sliding door installed. Our telephone call was returned almost immediately. Frank did a wonderful job of explaining and demonstrating the different options in regard to new windows and gave us a wonderful price for a significant number of windows. The installation took 2 days and we couldn't be happier. The work crew arrived on time and were very professional. The installation went very smoothly. They caulked and capped all windows, removed all window debris, and cleaned up afterwards. We highly recommend this company.

It went absolutely wonderful. They came on time, cleaned up and installed the windows correctly. My advice to others is to call Window King because they have a good product. The salesman comes into your house, explains the composition of the windows, what they are made of, what they are warranted to do, how to take care of them and how to open them and close them. They were the lowest of three or four different vendors that I called. They were lower than a major brand. I have only had the windows in my house since July 22 and today is the 24th so I have not used the windows or exposed them to New Jersey winters. Right now they are absolutely gorgeous. They work, they tilt in and they tilt out. As soon as I called them they knew that they were affiliated with Angie's List. They made an appointment, came right over and kept the appointment date.

From estimate to install to follow up, this company has been really great. I had lots of questions for Ron, who estimated the work - so much so that I asked him to come back twice with more samples. I stressed that I wanted a certain look and uniformity for all the windows and was worried about the install. They sent out their best worker to measure all the windows. In the end, we got exactly the windows we wanted and the price was reasonable. Installation took three days but the crew was professional and courteous. We have a couple more windows that we're planning on having Window King do very soon.

The people on the phone who gave the quotes and information were very friendly and knowledgeable. The installer and his assistant showed up on time and worked without break until they were done. They arrived by 8:30 and were done by 4. The end result looks great. The cleaned up and removed the old windows. The installers were considerate and answered all my questions. The only reason I gave the quality of work a B was that it is too soon to tell if there are any drafts around the windows. They did caulk all windows very thoroughly so I so not think this will be a problem. The windows look good and so does the sliding door. Overall, we were very satisfied with this company and are glad they did the work for us.

I had 7 windows replaced with Okna Series 400 Energy Star-rated vinyl. The windows look like great quality and offer modern features. Cost was 400 per window which i find to be a good price especially when installation was included in that price; plus, they also took old windows away for me. Nice customer service, great installation, great windows. I'm happy. I will definitely recommend these guys and i will use them for my next project without a doubt.

This is the second time I have used Window King with the same fantastic experience and results. I called Frank who i dealt with last time and told him what I needed. He immediately set up a time to come to the house and explain my options. Originally I was looking for French Doors out to the patio with Shades inside the glass. Once I sat down with Frank he explained my options and told me that a sliding door would be the most cost effective route. At no point did he try and sell me on the higher priced option which is refreshing and the reason I keep coming back. We ordered a sliding door with shades and three weeks later Lisa called to schedule an appointment for installation. The guys showed up on time and once again did a fantastic job. They removed the old door and installed the new one very fast. When they were done they cleaned up everything and were on their way. Overall a very easy experience from start to finish with no pressure what so ever. Frank is my guy and I will continue to do business with Window King for all of my window needs.

They were very accommodating when it came to scheduling. I had to reschedule the installation. The windows are nice, not great, but what I expected. The workers were very sloppy. I need to spackle and paint every window sill. When I asked one of the workers about fixing a hole he caused he just put caulk in it. That is not the proper way to fix it. I'm still finding pieces of glass outside. They didn't use any insulation, the worker who barely spoke English told me you're not supposed to use insulation. I dk if this is true, I'll have to ask other contractors. The worker asked me to fill out the satisfaction survey that day. I felt like it should have been emailed after a few days, you don't know how well they work right then and there. Plus you feel obligated to be nice to these two guys who were just in your house for 6 hours. No follow up from the salesman. I had to contact him because one of the screens was damaged. The office staffed got in touch with me asking which one it was but still haven't heard about getting it replaced, it's been a week. Overall thought they look nice and are better than the old ones. Price was the best after shopping a few different competitors. We'll see how they work when the weather changes.
