Window King

They were wonderful. They said they would be there at 7:30 am. They showed at 7:15 am which I was very happy about because I'm an early bird anyway. It took two men four and a half hours to complete. They had me check each window as they finished to make sure I was happy. They took all the garbage away and swept and vacuumed the floors. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

They came and met with us to see what we needed, then they sent someone to measure the windows we had so that they could order the new windows based on exact measurements, and then they came and took out the old windows and installed the new ones. Everyone we interacted with was really nice, informative and a pleasure to work with. They explained that they are a family owned company and it shows in the way they work with you and the customer service they provide. The new windows are really great quality and super functional. I've never had windows that you can completely fold down inside the apartment to clean the inside and outside! Really nice feature. My only complaint is that it took a long time to get the windows installed (about two months), but I understand that because they are custom made it takes some time.

The salesman was great. The ordering process was tedious and the wait for the windows was annoying. The installer was a no-show for the first appointment but once they got there they installed as planned and the installation WAS PERFECT!!!!.

They did the job on time, they did the job as expected. Overall it was good, I wouldn't say great, I'd say good.

This job was to replace two very large picture windows and 3 casement windows. The installation technicians arrived on time and immediately put down drop clothes in the work areas of my living room and den. They were very professional and polite. The installation went very smoothly and they answered all questions I had. They treated my home with great respect. At the end they cleaned up both inside the house and around the perimeter of the house where the windows were replaced. I'm thrilled with the result and would definitely hired them again.

The installation wen't great, the installers were professional and showed up on time. Sometime within the 1st year after installation we were experiencing some condensation in just 1 of the windows. It looked like dirt to me, but it later was revealed to be condensation. When i brought this to the attention of Window King they were extremely helpful in helping me determine what the cause of the problem was, we exchanged several emails and photos, and they ultimatley determined they would order me a replacement window and install it. I would definitley recommend this company to anyone I know, they stand by their product and provided excellent customer service.

My experience with Window King was excellent from my first contact until the job completion. I made inquiry on line and received a response within 24 hours. An appointment was made and the sales rep was on time, direct and informative. I was contacted for a measurement by the installer and he was prompt and professional. I recall being told that the windows would be ready for installation in 5 to six weeks and they were. Because of personal plans the installation had to be put off for about a week from when Window King had planned to do the installation. The installation was neat and on time. The installers were hard working and answered any questions I had. As I sit in my house with below freezing weather gripping the city I can only thank Window King for a job well done.

After placing my order with Frank from Window King it took about 5 weeks for everything to come in. They called immediately to set up an appointment for installation. Later that day they called back as they had a cancelation and asked if I was available for an earlier date/time. I was told that the guys would arrive at 8am and be done by 1pm. The guys in fact showed up on time at 8am and were done with the job at 12:30pm. They were very good about covering all of my furniture with plastic. They went as far as covering my christmas tree with plastic! They were extremely professional and respectful of my home. When they were done they not only removed the old windows but swept and vacuumed the entire living room where the work was done. I don't have a bad thing to say about Window King as it was an easy experience from start to finish. I will definitely use them in the future to replace a patio door and front bay window. MW

I had earlier ordered 10 slider windows thru Angies List from Window King. While I was there making a payment they had a bow window in the shop, my wife asked how much would it cost to change my Bow window that was original around 1956, that was 126" long that consisted of 32 single panes of non safety glass. The owner that would be larger than normal special order installed with a boom truck and cost more than $7000.00. The owner said it would be more economical to get 2 double hang's one on each side and a picture window in the middle which cost me around $2600.00. It took around a month to have made they were the same guys that did my first set of windows, they showed up early ripped out the old window replaced the 3 windows in its pace in 4hours in the rain.I will definitely. use these guys again.

They were good. The gentleman came and he was very nice and he changed the windows. We haven't had any problems.

Today we're replaced 4 windows, and Nick was very helpful. Not only did he save me money, but his crew is top notch professionals. We had 39 windows replaced about a year ago. I'm still very happy with the OKNA windows used throughout my home. These are quality windows at a fraction of the price of "brand name" windows. Not only am I happy with the windows, but also with the service I received from Window King. They DO NOT sub-contract their window installation work, and they stand by their product and installation. I've dealt with several contractors, and Window King stands out as being one of the best. I wouldn't have used them again and recommend them to everyone I know. I'm totally satisfied.

Excellent work..It was done efficiently and very professionally. No problems at all.

They use subcontractors. It felt like I was working with three different companies. The brand new windows had fingerprints on the windows. I wanted the windows cleaned as they should have worn gloves. Something brand new shoudn't have been dirty. He came and told me that he was a not a window cleaner and became upset with me in my own home. They just left. I tried to contact the owner and they never followed up with me.

They were very good. They came on time and cleaned up after themselves.

Window King was a good company to work with, very straightforward and professional. They honored the "Big Deal" exactly, gave me clear information about my windows, and did a nice job installing them. Three times different people from the company came to my house, first to show me some information and a contract, second to take measurements, and third to do the installation, and all the employees were friendly and professional, showed up on time, and were easy to work with.

Scheduling was easy. The prices were reasonable, but I was not as happy with the installation. It was a speedy job and in some windows there were screws sticking out. Overall, I think I paid for what I got.

If you have ever researched replacing your windows then you know just how confusing it can be. There are plenty of considerations including material, style and price. And unfortunately many of the companies who sell windows are pushy and unhelpful (special mention to Anderson Renewal who are a disgrace to American businesses generally). After several months of research we decided we wanted a good quality vinyl window with SDL grids. I saw on Angie's List that window king had a very good rating and I have to say my experience was excellent. They were prompt, efficient and were willing to negotiate on price. I have recommended them to several people and plan to use them again when we finish replacing the remaining windows in the house.

Submitted a request on website to be contacted regarding an estimate. After a few days of not hearing from them I submitted another request. A woman called me back a few days after the second request and asked me when was good. Told her I needed early on a Saturday. The appointment was made for 8:00 a.m. on Saturday July 19th. No one ever showed up. I called around 9:30 and got someone on the phone who said he would check into it and call me back. When he called me he told me they had the appointment listed for Monday. Kept referring to me as "dear" and asking me if I was sure. Yes, I was sure the appointment was for Saturday. Told them not to bother coming, I would not use them.

Frank, the seller, came on time and explained the windows that I had bought with an Angie's list deal. I decided to upgrade to a better window because it was only a couple hundred more. He was very thorough with his explanations and answered all my questions. The windows took about a month to arrive. During the wait period, I had called to inquire on their status and was contacted without any problems with an update. Window King was also able to accommodate the installation to my schedule. They were booked fully for awhile and couldn't install the windows for another three weeks from when they arrived but I told them I was going to be leaving the country for a couple of months and that wouldn't do. They were able to find sometime the following week to install them for me.Though I was initially unhappy that they couldn't schedule an installation for almost a month from the windows being delivered (which is kinda crazy since I had already waited a month for them to be made) I was very grateful that they were able to squeeze me in. Though I didn't need that extra couple hours of stress while I waited to hear back. All in all the installation went smoothly. The windows look great and I am happy with the product I bought. Recommended.

It went very well. They did everything they should have done. They came on time, they were reliable, and did good work. They were as good as they could be. Their price seemed reasonable for what they did.

Had a visit for an estimate on Friday and was emailed a proposal with cost on Monday. I found it odd that they could not give me a number the same day when another company was able to for the same brand of windows. Also overall the visit felt very awkward. Not much info on the windows they were trying to sell was given or the possible upgrade options. At the end of the meeting, it was mentioned that if not for being an Angie's List member they would not have come by. Doesn't seem like they want to service the queens near Long Island area, too far for them.

Ron came out for an estimate in October and he was very informative and professional. We liked the windows a lot, but another company told us that the energy efficiency rating would be changing in 2014 and the Okna windows wouldn't be energy efficient by the new rating. I spoke to Ron and he looked into it for me. When we decided to set up the installation with Window King, Ron gave us a higher quality, more energy efficient window for the same price as the original estimate. The day of the install was during a week of two snow storms and it was freezing. The two men who came to install the windows worked quickly and were polite. We really like the windows and are happy with the quality of the product. Our only complaint is that the men could have done a better job cleaning up. There was debris outside in the snow, which I understand would have been hard to clean up. However, we also found screws on the floor and my husband was very upset to find screws and nails from the old windows in the driveway. They could have been more thorough in their clean up. Luckily neither of us got a flat.
